I do not know if there is a place in Austin I can recommend more than this bakery. It provides options for people with allergies that wouldn’t otherwise be able to eat tasty baked goods. The people that work here are incredibly friendly and a joy to be around.

This is such an important bakery for Austin, making GF + vegan is no easy feat and their treats are divine ! I recommend the vegan Twinkie (cream coffin)

Didn't get to try the food. The clerk was on the phone after we finally located the entrance. I attempted eye contact and even walked over to stand right in front of them. Nothing. We decided to walk out and hold on to our cash. 👎👎👎

We had Zucchini Kill deliver the cake for our wedding and can't recommend them enough! I wish I had better photos- we had a heart shaped cake for us and 10 cookie cakes for guests. We loved having one dessert that all of our guests could enjoy (we had several vegans and GF guests) and it made things easier for our caterer. Designs came out beautiful and matched the requested theme perfectly. Delivery out to Driftwood was seamless and affordable as well.

Love the healthier idea, but when I lived nearby they act really like they don’t care about good service. I get it. They’re “cool girls” 😅 but you still gotta be nice, if you’re working food service this is Austin. Just be a little kinder to people. 👍

Got a chocolate cake here for a coworker who is vegan. Everyone in the office really enjoyed the cake!

Had to throw out all four cupcakes. Non edible. They were old and dry as a dog biscuit. Waist of money.

Best cupcakes, best gluten-free, and best vegan bakery in Austin!
My favorites are the mini coffee cakes, peanut butter cup filled cupcake, smores cupcake, and lemon blueberry cupcake. Open every day with tons of flavors (and new ones all the time), plus custom orders. Fun vibe, all-women bakers, and female owned. If I had to pick just one bakery in Austin, this would be it.

A truly glorious bakery, especially for someone with so many dietary restrictions. Not only are the ingredients on everything, I adore the atmosphere of the store and food truck next door. Everyone was super nice and the treats were sooooo delicious and fresh!!!! We traveled to Austin from a decent distance, and Zucchini Kill as well as the surrounding places were our favorite part of the trip! The owner was super down to Earth and had an excellent vibe. 5 stars, we’d love to come back! Pictured below is their moon pie, which was super super good!!!!

Finally, bread I can eat that tastes great! The Zucchini Kill team is amazing and friendly! I have had Celiac's for at least a year and I prefer to eat vegan. The decor adds to the fun of this great bakery's theme. I am so glad that Zucchini Kill is out there making tasty gluten-free, vegan desserts and bread!

We love their cupcakes, atmosphere, service and ethics. In addition to saving animals, they've been donating food to community refrigerators (@atxfreefridge) to help people facing food insecurity (or worse). Thank you, Zucchini Kill Bakery!! You're the best!! May you receive exponentially more than you give to all life on this planet!

Amazing GF treats! Stopping by this place was one of the highlights of our trip to Austin. You may know that TX has a reputation around the country, but it was truly delightful to find a badass, woman-owned, progressive and like-minded business. Cool merch too!! We hope to be back someday!

Awesome little bakery themed like a witch's hideout; super cute. If you like Halloween, you will like it here. The pastry are great, but if you don't know what to try first, I suggest the peanut butter cupcake. Quiet, easy parking, and inviting patio seating. Can be a good place to bring some friends for a game night.
