“This is no longer a free standing restaurant. It is located inside Turkey Mountain Feed & General Store (since Feb 2025 and as of this review in July 2025). There are two picnic tables outside for eating at. The staff is very kind and helpful. The tacos were very good (we tried carne asada, pollo, barbacoa, and al pastor). They come with grilled pineapple (which was fabulous), grilled onion, raw white onion, cilantro, lime, green sauce, red sauce and charro beans. We paid $20 for 8 tacos and it was a lot of food. I am happy for the price for the proportions. Not the best tacos I’ve had but very very good. I would come back if we were close by (I just maybe wouldn’t drive the 40 min we did tonight).”

“Service is always great here. When my Family and I came in our server was Brookelyn. She is amazing. We were having a discussion at our table about how great Brookelyn was, and a few minutes later, the table next to us came over and was telling us how great they thought Brookelyn was also. And we just all agreed she is amazing every time we go there. We always ask for Brookelyn to be our server, and I have been there a couple of other times and over hear people telling her how great she is. And we agree also. And the food there is really good. So if you see a bad review on the food, just know that there is always someone that will not like the food......no matter how good the food is. I chop it up to....they don't really like Mexican food that much. Probably a Steak and Potato kinda person. I will always find a way to eat at El Paseo. I have been eating there for years. I love it and I always send other people there to eat also. Love this place sooooo much.”

The owner, and employees all strive to give the customer a great experience serving the most delicious popsicles you’ve ever tasted.You get more for your money, they aren’t messy and the product is made with real ingredients, no chemicals, or dyes. “Absolutely fantastic BBQ. The sausage was amazing, and the beans were as savory as I’ve ever had, with generous amounts of (I assume) pork belly added in. Very hefty amounts of food; my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how much we received! Will definitely be back often! Gail was a joy to talk to!”

“I just had the worst customer service experience of my life in this place today!!!! I use to love this place. Been going there for years! I would often come with friends or family. (It's sad going alone to a bar) Well when I walked in today, around 12pm, looking to just have a beer and play pool with my brother, as we OFTEN do, The bartender loses her mind when I asked for a pitcher and two glasses!!!! She goes off claiming that I was there alone 3 weeks ago, didn't pay for my beer, and tried touching some girl on my way out. Like wtf?????!!!! PROVE IT! She proceeded to tell me that she was the bartender that night, and that "I" was caught on camera. When I asked to see the footage..... ***** BECAUSE (PROVE THAT YOU GOT THE RIGHT PERSON) there is NO WAY that I disrespected this establishment in any way. Or place I go to. I am not one to cause a riot.***** .... the bartender got obviously irritated, claiming that it was PROBABLY already deleted and I just needed to leave! Looking like she wanted to fight me. Apparently the owner of the places out of town..... The only person in charge it's usually just a bartender, I don't think I've ever really seen a manager.... ESTABLISHMENTS GROW BECAUSE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I haven't stopped by enough times to get to know the morning bartender, but she HAS ALWAYS GIVEN ME A "RUDE" VIBE, face ..... I just spoke to a friend of mine that use to work up there and is usually up there, and she said some curly haired dark skin girl caused chaos up there, that she heard of, ... But My friend KNOWS ME AND THAT I WOULD NEVER AND HAVE NEVER MISBEHAVED LIKE THAT!!!! So the bartender OBVIOUSLY has me confused for someone else, then COULDN'T OR WOULDN'T AND DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO PROVE IT WASN'T ME, and barred me from the bar. Wtf? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ATTITUDE!!! EVER! Bet she'll feel pretty stupid when the person she THOUGHT was me, walks in!!! If she would have a screenshot of "me", or of the footage, we could have cleared this mess up. She could have seen that not all curly hair ethnic people look the same!!!! But no. SSSSOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Forget this place. It's bad enough that the tournaments tend take up all the tables at night, now I'm being accused with NO EVIDENCE???!!!! I'll spend my money elsewhere!!! I never even looked for other options, till now. That place is falling apart, and now the staff is too.... “We order Mr Jim's Pizza Azle at least once a week we get their giant salad and pizza, and they make a special pizza for my grandson and he says it's the best pizza in the whole world! He's five and the pickiest eater but they make it just the way that he loves it which is very, very little sauce and pushed in the oven a little farther so it doesn't cook as well done. He will eat that whole small pizza, which I am so gratefully blessed that they are there and they will fix it for him. The salad is the large one we can eat on it for 3 days and it is so delicious not to mention that Bradley the owner goes over and above to make everyone happy and his employees are a mirror image of him. so do yourself a favor and Order from Mr Jim's of Azel today delivery is quick food is hot and extra yummy!!”

“Went there for the first time to see the fantastic “The Michelle Taylor Band”!!! Clean bar, no smoke, no weird smells, fantastic homemade Pizza and our lil Bartender nailed every drink!!! There’s pool tables, Trivia TV but the music was out of this world!! Highly recommend!!!”

“Who knew? We went to Freedom Burgers for...well BURGERS. Then we looked at the menu and saw Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Teriyaki Chicken. Having lived on the island of Guam and therefore having a high expectation of quality, I was a bit leary until the cashier said it was all home-made. We gave it try. So good! We'll be back. who knows, maybe next time we'll try a burger or Philly cheese steak.”
