My husband and I went on a Thursday, and apparently we came on the right day, because it was all you can eat catfish. Husband got that, and I got the jalapeño burger. The catfish, was breaded to perfect I kid you not. The burger was amazing, and not only that thr fries were amazing. 100/10. Already planning our trip back!

Used to be our favorite restaurant in town till they got new owners and changed recipes. I’ve never had fried chicken so bland in my life. Single batter without a speck of salt and pepper is blasphemous and this wasn’t the first time. Only reason it’s not a 1 star is because my wife’s burger was mediocre but edible. If they can’t even make fried chicken right what else are they doing wrong.

Drove all the way from Lubbock and had dinner here today, spend $177 dollars for 4 people in your restaurant for subpar food. First of all, the restaurant was out of sirloins so if I wanted the steak I was stuck with the Bison, I didn’t mind, but it was a heck of a difference price wise and my sirloin had a ton of fat. Second, the asparagus was hard, the cook didn’t trim the ends while preparing them, the dinner rolls were hard on everyone’s plate and my side salad had cores that were inedible. I expected something different being under new management, but I wouldn’t have expected this. For these kinds of prices I expected excellence, that is what I paid for.

Ordered two hamburgers and fries somehow I got three burgers and fries and it took all my money. I did not have a tip and on the way out the owner said thank you for the tip and I just kept walking.

Made a 630 reservation for Valentines Day. The special was an appetizer of your choice followed by 2 Bison ribeyes, with roasted potatoes and Asparagus. And to finish off your meal, a red velvet cheesecake brownie! The steaks were grilled to perfection! The potatoes and Asparagus were phenomenal! we selected the jalapeno poppers as our appetizer and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The brownie was amazing too! The waitstaff is on point and the food was flying out of the kitchen. We have been to Circa 1880 several times in the past and have never had a "so-so" meal. It has ALWAYS been on point. keep doing what you do and we w

The Soft Open of Circa 1880 ,, by Leslie, and husband . The food preparation,, and dish presentation , service ,, personnel,, all represent a marked improvement of restaurants in Baird
Wonderful late lunch today as part of a day trip of events. It was nice to sit, relax and be impressed with surprising big portion meals in an ole town type atmosphere!?

Good Ambiance, old stone downtown store. Roomy, definitely set up for the locals. Visitors quickly find their way around. Nice road stop. CFS is large but undercooked and tough , same for fried squash. Tease for desserts extra large cake slice in case but not size served. I'm trying again, burgers look amazing.

Took advantage of their normal customers. Thanksgiving meal was small. I thought it was a buffet like online. It isn’t.
