The food was absolutely horrible!!! The chicken was dry and tasted as if it was from days ago. The brisket was horrible!!! Mac and cheese was thicker than molasses. Green beans fire!! Overall 1/10

This place stands up to the name!! It’s the best BBQ in Texas. They serve the best baked potatoes and tacos. They will prepare them however you tell them. The portions are good and the customer service is great. The girls in the front are really nice and they explain to you when you have a question. 10/10 would recommend this place!!

I decided to stop at this place because someone said that they had really good bbq food. The ladies serving assumed that I didn’t speak Spanish and wasn’t very pleasant. Then one of them put a piece of toast on my plate, which had been sitting out, exposed to EVERYTHING. I received 2 pieces of the ribs and one leg quarter. The chicken was old and the ribs did not taste like it had been smoked on an actual grill. Maybe this used to be the best location for bbq, but it’s not anymore. I would not recommend to anyone and I will not be returning.

We love the barbecue here at Texas Best Smokehouse in Balch Springs, Texas. The manager, Reda and entire staff are extremely nice and kind with excellent service. We are new to this area and love eating here as well as take out. We're gonna get fat from the eating food here, me , Wifey and daughter.... Thank you. Alex

Overall this place should be closed permanently the managers are rude when I asked for a simple question about the menu and the food is microwaved and the meat is dry and hard.

Please try the Gyro. It is absolutely delicious.

This establishment has gone downhill from when they first started. Everything from good customer service to the quality and quantity of food has continuously declined. I remember when the workers would greet you with a hello and smile when you first walk in. Now your lucky if a worker is even at the register and if there is one, they pretend not to see you. Then there is the quality of food. They use to have the BEST bbq and sides but now it’s literally a toss up if the food will be good or not. The sides are sometimes old or dry. Example- the cubed potatoes are rubbery and bbq is extremely dry. If you are lucky to get good tasting food, the portions are so small that you will still leave disappointed. I truly believe they can save on the size plates they use because they do not fill up even half the plate. That’s not an exaggeration. Also I’m concerned on the sanitation of the food because I saw bread on the bare table surface and the worker still used it to make toasts for customers. Hopefully this establishment starts to value their customers again and gives great service and food like they use to years ago.

Came this morning around 11am to get food for my elderly parents and brother. I ordered the #2 -which is 2pounds of meat 4 sides and toast. I got 1 pound of sliced brisket ( dry no flavor), 1/2 pound of sliced turkey( no flavor and extremely dry) and 1/2 jalapeño sausage ( very tasty but they put sauce on it after I said on side) 1 green beans( good), 1mashed potato ( not good no flavor) 1 coleslaw (ok) and banana pudding (good). Toast ( good) and baked potato no meat ( good).

This was not good food. Very expensive and not good. Very disappointed. I spent right at $100.
