I stopped by this tiny farming town because I was low on gas and figured ‘why not grab lunch’. I walked into Jo’s and it had such a vibe to the place, there's dollar bills all over the walls with messages from people far and wide. So glad I came across this place. I stopped in Fort Stockton but everything that seemed decent was closed. I found this place on the map and took a chance. It could not have worked out any better. Great little town, great view. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly. Steak fingers were amazing! You basically get an entire steak cut into strips and fried fresh. Fresh fries also. Don't pass this place up!

This was my first meal EVER in Texas, and it did not disappoint! Not even a little. Friendly service, charming atmosphere, some real good BBQ sauce, and sweet tea for the road—what more could I want while traveling through Texas?
