Stopped here last night on my way through town on a solo roadtrip and I LOVED it. Hospitality and service was perfect and personable (I had to ask for a phone charger because my phone was on 1% and I had 2 hours to go for the day). Food was amazing (I got the 2 meat plate with brisket, sausage, potato salad, fries, beer, and water). Atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for after a long day of driving and swimming at Balmorhea State Park (Cowboys game, beer, and pool). When I come back, I will absolutely visit again!

Hole in the wall, and we were the only ones there. Brisket sandwich was great & Brisket cheese fries were good too. I just don't like the way they cook the fries (fresh style, I prefer the more procesed mass produced style).

This place blew us away! The burgers were absolute masterpieces, cooked to perfection, and the brisket was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We're just visiting the area, but there's no question: we’ll be back next time! I'm looking forward to having the chicken fried steak, which I've heard is a MUST try!
