Great little spot off the I-10 and worth a detour. Mushroom Burger is very delicious and so is the Chicken burger. Fries came out nice as well. If they are busy, I can see how the food can take a while to prepare, but I would certainly recommend. If I am doing another cross country trip on the I-10 again, I would revisit.
Was hungry for lunch while driving through western Texas on the I-10. Saw this pop up on Google and gave it a try. It is just a mile or two off the freeway and it is literally a shack with a porch out front and to the side. Ordered a mushroom burger (Awesome), chicken sandwich (very good), fries (Solid), and chilli Cheese dog (Very good, like what you would get at a little league baseball game). Went on a trip with my girlfriend to the State park near there for the first time and as we drove through town we saw this little place and something just kept telling me we HAD TO try that place. I knew it was gonna be worth it. Well we didn’t get to the first day however we drove all the way back an hour and a half to visit the park again and get us some food there.
