To be honest, it is a simple burger shack with outdoor seating. Do not let the simplicity deceive you. Perfectly cooked burger with cheese and bacon!! Fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Curly fries were cooked to perfection and very tasty. Excellent out of the way burger spot that I wish was close to home.

Being from out of town and working nearby all week with my dump truck, I called in an order Saturday evening around 7:30 and was very impressed with the service and quality of the food. Burgers and fries are cooked to order which made everything delicious. This hole in the wall burger joint has homemade burgers.

I happened to mention we were on our way to the state park while waiting for our food to go. When we got to the park we found they forgot our fries. A few minutes later they delivered the forgotten fries to our camper! Who does that!? These nice folks! And the food was really good.

Stopped in on our way from CA to LA. Not far off the 10 freeway. Burgers (bacon cheese and green chili) were great and the patties were BIG and flavorful. Fries and especially the onion rings were yummy. I also got a root beer float which was a bit different than I'm used to as it was blended but it was great and better that way for travel. The woman behind the counter was very pleasant and friendly. Great place to stop for good food and to stretch your legs if traveling. The prices were also good, a good bang for your buck! We would definitely come again if we are in the area or would plan accordingly to make it a stop as there is also a nice gas station across the street.
What can I say a hidden Gem in Balmorrhea!!! The real deal. Burgers are big n juicy tots are enough for two people nice n crispy. Even had a snow one to top it off!!! Stop n check this place out after a day of swimming!!! Delicious!!

The food is average and very pricey, I would check your order once your still at the window they do not give an itemized receipt they cheated me a burger and acted as if I was trying to scam them I just left it.
