The food was great. Everything was homemade as said by the owner, who was such a gem. Customer service was 10/10. The ambiance is an authentic, rustic, small town country Texas diner. Would recommend!
We met family at the little RV park out back of the restaurant. My family drove 11 1/2 hours while my Aunt and Uncle drove from Colorado to Santa Fe and then from there to Balmorhea. Carlsbad was horrible traffic. Needless to say, everyone was exhausted and needed cocktails and dinner. We walked over and the restaurant side was closed but the bar side was open.
