This restaurant is a hidden gem in Bandera. Their broasted fried chicken and sliced ribeye salad are both delicious. Great staff and always pleasant, good service too. You won't be disappointed. Oooh and their bread pudding...yummy! They serve a variety of good food to please any palate. A++++
Without good signage, this place is a little hard to find, but it's a hidden gem. We ate an early dinner on a Saturday afternoon. There were 4-6 full tables with 2 guys hustling it by themselves. Robert was our server and he couldn't have been any nicer. We had meatloaf and the schnitzel and both were very large portions. They have a good variety of sides as well. All in all, great experience. The cost was about what you'd expect and in line with the high prices...
Our first time here, our server Robert took care of us like he knew us, was very kind and attentive to our needs . We’re always looking for local family owned restaurants, somewhere where you walk in and they make you feel at home, this was that kind of place.
Robert recommended the broasted fried chicken which my husband had and he gave it a thumbs up I had the grilled catfish which was amazing, not overcooked. We will have to come back for their breakfast buffet....
