“This place was such an amazing find! I can not eat gluten, so most pizza places end up off my list because of the options available. I looked up the menu for Dough Joe and noticed gluten-free pizza. I am so glad I went here. Not only did they have a lot of delicious Pizzas, but they also took the gluten allergy seriously. They prepared my pizza carefully to avoid any cross-contamination. They even used a different pizza slicer to ensure my pizza didn't become contaminated from other pizzas that contain gluten. I ordered the "chicken bacon ranch" pizza with BBQ sauce instead of the white sauce (contains gluten), and it was hands down one of the best gluten free Pizzas I've eaten. I will definitely be returning to dine here quite a bit. If you are gluten sensitive, make sure your server knows about it, and they'll make sure the kitchen makes accommodations when they prepare your food. I didn't have any reactions after eating here. Thank you, Dough Joe, for taking precautions the way you do. “Pizza was amazing. We got the Supreme, a cheese, and the chicken bacon ranch. It came out hot and crunchy, with a chewy crust. Was still thinking about that pizza later in the evening and ate it cold the next morning. Will absolutely be back.”

“The moment we walked in, the atmosphere was amazing. Staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Live music was an added plus. Definitely recommend the Hef if you like Blue Moon. Bandera lager is comparable to Dos XX.”

“Perfect lunch and good conversation with the locals! Blackened chicken sandwich was great. His California sandwich was tasty as well. Not a big fan of the potato salad. She was clear that it was different. We tried it, just olives are not my thing. Close to Bandera RV park where we stayed for the week.”

“I had the cheese enchiladas with extra onions they were delicious. The salad bar is awesome lots of options including frito pie and enchiladas. I did not have the salad bar because I do not do buffets for my own reasons. I ordered alacarte The place is still awesome after all these years I used to go alot 20 years ago. The place is clean and the rest rooms are clean. Awesome service”

“Worth the trip!! Took scenic drive to Bandera, and so glad we found this restaurant (1 block off Main St). Waitress was super friendly & attentive. Two of us ordered the chicken fried steak.. SOOO GOOD, crunchy & flavorful. And the mashed potatoes were DELICIOUS! Husband enjoyed the Wagyu burger & said the sweet potato fries were best he's had. Only wish we had brought some of their desserts home. We'll be back when in Bandera!”

“This was our first time frequenting this establishment. The moment we walked in, the hostess was very welcoming. Although it was a 20-minute wait for a table, we would soon find out that the wait was worth it. Our server was very friendly and very willing to provide information about their menu. Food was excellent and the presentation on all the plates-not just on our food- but looking at other tables, was very impressive. I definitely recommend this place next time you are in Bandera. If you live here, and you haven't been to this restaurant.. you don't know what you're missing. We will definitely come back again and again!”

“Definitely recommended! Fast friendly service. We loved the tortillas, salsa and eggs/beans on our breakfast tacos. My wife wasn't a huge fan of the barbacoa tacos, but we will definitely be back for her to try something else. They did a great job to meet a couple of special requests and the prices were great as well. Will be back next time we're in Bandera!”

“Great down to earth hospitality. Waitresses are very attentive and so sweet. The place is old but with charm. This will be my to go place. We ride our motorcycles from San Antonio every morning. I'm glad to have found a great breakfast place.”

“Bar food is very good. The service is dependent on the staff working, I've got excellent to poor service there. The atmosphere is average, mostly local crowd. Stools are not comfortable, and bar chairs are limited. It was a lot nicer when new.”

“What a find in Bandera/ Pipecreek. I got the avocado burger and added bacon. Burger was cooked perfectly, flavor was excellent and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. Great service and it was clean inside. We will be back.”
