We’ve ordered several items from Debbie at The Flour Sack, and she never disappoints. Most recently, she made my daughter’s birthday cake, and it was absolutely perfect.
Debbie is incredibly professional, thoughtful, and organized. You can tell she puts so much care into every detail, and nothing feels rushed or overlooked. The amount of planning and thought she puts into her work really shows.

While visiting from Iowa...friendly, cute, clean store bonus those cinnamon rolls delicious. Slowly get to the center - YUM
Stopped in this morning! Adorable shop with the kindest owner/baker, Debbie! Just tried the Blueberry cinnamon roll and it was the perfect sweetness! Can’t wait to try the other things I purchased. So lucky the bakery is 4 houses away from where we are staying!

The Flour Sack is a small bakery in Bandera, located off Cypress Street behind a pink door. It is a cute little spot that the town needed. The owner puts her heart into the shop and is very helpful and pleasant. The bakery offers items like cinnamon rolls, espresso cookie bars, flour tortillas, and custom cakes. Specific treats mentioned include really big snickerdoodles cookies, cupcakes, cilantro tortillas, a Pumpkin bar, chocolate cake, Jam cake, and crumble coffee cake. Reviews call the coffee and cookies amazing and the tortillas the greatest. The bakery is highly recommended as a new local gem with an affordable price and excellent service.
