This review is for other bands that might be thinking about playing at this venue. Directions: Finding the place from San Antonio is not difficult. Directions on the web appear to be accurate. Enter Bandera on Route 16 from San Antonio. Turn right on Main Street. Go about seven blocks and turn right on Route 173. The Monkey Cage Saloon is located on your left at the bend in the road. Great, fun little dive bar inside a motorcycle repair shop. Weekdays get your bike fixed, weekends crack a cold one with friends and locals. The beer is ICE cold and everyone is super friendly. Don't let the leather and chrome intimidate you, because you'll also see plenty of folks driving golf carts and wearing Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops.The beer selection is typical for a small Texas town (Bud, Lite, Shiner, a few hard seltzers, etc. no fancy imports or craft beer).
