“Great food. I didn't expect such a great steak along with my fresh shrimp. Steak was tender, well-spiced and perfect temperature. The portions were large. Appetizer of boudin balls were delicious, along with the sauce. I hope they get a better, larger location. This food deserves a better, larger location.”

“What a pleasant surprise that Kerrville has a good sushi restaurant. We ordered the Hamachi Tower, Twisted Tuna rolls and some nigiri. My favorite was the hamachi tower. Tasted fresh and sauces were good, not overwhelming. I would skip the scallop nigiri.It was a full house when we went on the weekend. Despite being full of tables, we had excellent service. The food came at an appropriate amount of wait time. Definitely will be going back.”

“Local pub feels. Lots of regulars. Thing I like about the place is that there is a menu of the Basement brews, a menu of "guest" brews and then a large selection of cans and bottles choices that are in the tap room coolers or down in the basement. All to say, if you don't see something you want ask Julian. Usually a food truck on site that is really good. If that's important, call and check.”

“This place is an amazing hidden gem. There new location at 1168 Sidney Baker is so quaint. The food is awesome. I have been looking for a good salad in Kerrville all Summer. Let me tell you, this is my new favorite cafe. The staff is friendly. I suggest the shrimp feta watermelon salad. Give this cafe a try. You will not regret it.”

“Been a customer for years! Great selection of products and I enjoy their in-house items also… My favorites are the soups along with the juices and smoothies! Real fruit and real vegetables are used in all of their juices and smoothies. They even make their own cashew milk.”

“A San Antonio staple, whether you are visiting or a local, this place is a mandatory stop. I've been here several times over the years but most recently last night for a large family get together. Our party was over 20 and the restaurant did their best to accommodate our size. Our server was great. The food is always amazing, fresh, authentic, and flavorful. You must try the puffy tacos, I recommend the Mexican cheese plate which includes one puffy taco, two cheese enchiladas, rice, and beans. If you're over the age of 21, I highly recommend the jalapeño margarita. This adult beverage only comes in a small, because it packs a punch. Its hold the highest amount of liquor they are able to put into a single drink. Great atmosphere, clean bathrooms, lots of seating.”

“We came in the weekend off the 20th and had the brunch. The brunch buffet was amazing! The options were plentiful. I really enjoyed the carved prime rib and my friend enjoyed the omelet station. I would definitely make a return to this location.”
