“Fresh food. My family and I ordered the appetizer with all the different items (forgot the name) but it was fresh and everything was so good. The burger was pretty good and shrimp were buttery and seasoned well. They tasted fresh. Overall great experience. We asked to be seated outdoors and our server, Ignacio was very attentive.“

“We were in Kerrville for a quick visit and found “The Lakehouse” ! We were NOT disappointed. First off, our server Cody was gracious, attentive and top notch. He did a great job. We would give him more than 5 stars if possible. And we must mention the food. It was scrumptious. Our group had everything from catfish to fried shrimp & chicken fried steak. Oh yeah and the onion rings were hand batter and delicious! We even got peach & blackberry cobbler for later. We are sure to sleep good tonight after all the comfort food! If you haven’t been there, you should definitely check it out. We just wish this little gem wasn’t 4 hours away from where we live!“

“Totally disappointed. We have been regulars and they change the chef . They don’t make any entrees with grilled shrimp and the pesto sauce. My etoufe was horrible and the boiled shrimp tasted like chemicals. Get back your old chef. Totally disaster. Service was better.“
