“First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.“

“I’ve been eating at fish city and Grill on 281 in San Pedro for at least 13 years! It may be a a little bit more. We go back every season for the crawfish. Even though I do know for a fact that the seasoning has been changed because I would know since I’ve been going in to have the crawfish season after season. I enjoy the older seasoning better my family and I have enjoyed going Throughout the years and even recognize the same stuff they’ve had for years“

“Small, unassuming place. Service was excellent, the workers were so nice. I'm not even a catfish fan, and theirs was so good. I had the catfish and shrimp dinner with collard greens (which were a tad spicy and cooked to perfection!). Hubs had the crawfish poboy, and the little one had the oyster plate. Everything was good, the greens and the catfish were my favorite. We will absolutely be back. Don't pass up this gem!“

“We had an absolutely phenomenal lunch at this wonderful restaurant located on the Riverwalk. As soon as we walked in we couldn't get over how beautiful the restaurant looked. We were shown to a wonderful table overlooking the river by the hostess, thank you for that. The first thing we noticed about the menu was that it was a brunch and a lunch menu loaded with tons of choices. So no matter what you were in the mood for there was something on the menu for you. Our server Emely came over with a big smile and we told her that we both decided on the chicken brie sandwich that came with granny smith apples, prosciutto and a wonderful pesto dressing all on a baguette. Let me tell you, it was "out of this world". While we were enjoying our lunch we also enjoyed our conversation with Emely. She was so kind, gracious & extremely accommodating. “We finally came back after about 4 years, thanks to seeing SA Live there yesterday. We were never going to set foot in that restaurant again with the horrible service, sub-par food, 3% credit card fee (still exists) and a poor attitude from the lady we were giving our hard earned money to at the register. Today, we were greeted by Jannita who's been serving folks for 26 years here. She was extremely delightful and showed that she loves her job through and through. She has a true pride and purpose in helping those she serves to ensure they're satisfied and happy with their meal. The food was good and better than expected. I had the fried fish & shrimp (shrimp was a little over cooked since they're so small) and hubby had a late breakfast which he said was great (other than the tiny pieces of bacon served on his plate, they should get more quality bacon😉) After our meal, I'm glad to say that we revisited and have decided that we will return in the near future. This family owned restaurant has truly stepped up their game for sure!!“

“This is by far our FAVORITE restaurant in San Antonio. We always order the same two dishes, Chicken Victoria and the Plank Cedar Salmon. We also enjoyed the jambalaya, shrimp, and chicken piccata. They start your order with some warm bread and cilantro dipping oil. It’s a must try!“

“My wife and I have been married 6 months, together a total 11 years and yesterday was our 11 year anniversary. We wanted to try something different for a very special occasion so we both agreed on Smashin Crab. This was the BEST customer service we have ever received at any establishment. Our waitress Amanda was SUPER friendly, took the time to explain the menu to us, checked up on us frequently, always carried a smile when she came to our table and had such a great attitude! Unexpectedly, when we were done with our food our waitress brought us a desert for us to celebrate our anniversary. The manager was super friendly as well, checked up on us towards the end and made sure to talk to us again before we actually left, we asked if we liked the desert and we thank him multiple times for that gesture. My wife and I can’t wait to go back again!!! Thank y’all so much for a great experience!!“

“First time going to Fred's fish fry and it's was amazing! This location was clean and the young lady working was very polite. Food was amazing! It was hot, presentation of packing was perfect to not get bread soft and condiments in bag. It looked like she was working by herself but it didn't stop here from handling several customers promptly and knocking out orders. 11/19/3025 Wednesday about 430-530pm is when I went to hopefully get this employee her kudos“

“This location does not have a drive thru but still great for pick up only. Though the parking lot layout is a bit strange there are plenty of parking spots for normal business traffic.

The kitchen appears to be clean and the front waiting area feels a little dated.
A little love to the front would make the waiting experience a bit more pleasing but the food never disappoints.“

“Called in my order. The order was ready promptly. Waitress is a doll. She knows exactly how I like my food. I've eaten here since I was a child. My children enjoy the food. Prices are more than reasonable and affordable. The place is always clean. Service is always wonderful. I would always recommend this place. I absolutely love it.
