“I had a superb birthday dinner experience at this elegant restaurant of fine dining. They were so thoughtful and genuine about my special day. I had a birthday card at my table from the restaurant. What a wonderful detail. Our meal was extraordinary with succilent lobster and a juicy steak. Champagne was at the table ordered by my date..Our server was practically at our tables side most of the time dressed in fine dining attire addressing our every need. Best place ever for a beautiful surprise. Friendly staff that go out of their way to assist. I would have to say better than Perry's.“

“The absolute best food and service we have ever had. Not cheap but worth every dollar for the experience. We have been to several places we had visited before CoVid and post , Bohanan's was the only place that maintained the quality of service and product post CoVid.“

“Food was great, just as expected from a highly rated BBQ/Hotpot restaurant. Wait time was totally unreasonable, had waitlisted ourselves 2 hours in advance and arrived around 6:30pm (5pm I waitlisted us on yelp for a spot and as per the app our table should have been ready between 7-7:30) but we had to wait an additional 50 minutes until we were able to sit at 8:20 because they over booked. We were a group of 6 who drove all the way from Brownsville to celebrate my BDay only to be delayed a great amount of time without any proper update as to how much longer the wait could be. There were a few more people who also complained so we weren't the only ones. So my 2 cents is that weekend dinner service is crazy busy and KPot needs to step up there game and really need to make some adjustments. Also update your menus tip surcharge bc we were charged 18% for a group of 6 even though your menu clearly writes 18% is for a group of 8 and above. When I questioned the tip was told it's automatically entered because we were a group of 6. Didn't want to complain bc we were there to celebrate and already were frustrated from the nearly 1 hour delay to be seated.We did enjoy the food and drinks that's why I didn't lower the rating. We chose the BBQ&hot pot option which was lovely and even got a happy birthday song, mini cupcake and the mascot visit...unfortunately no teddy ( which I didn't even know was provided until our server informed us that was provided) because my bday was on the 20th and we came on the 23rd missed out on the teddy. But what to do when as mentioned we live 5 hours away so no way would we have made it on Friday after work.“

“Bussin!!! The baked chicken and gravy is fire! The yams bussing! The Mac n cheese isn't nasty, but it's kinda mid. It went well with the catfish though, and the catfish is fire too! I was salty they were out of the banana pudding and they only had a few servings left of peach cobbler so I'm pretty sure that means it's good. The kool-aid is banging. Fresh and hot! Made to order! “The atmosphere was beautiful, with great jazz music and our favorite singer Ella Fitzgerald. Our server was excellent and offered suggested. Journey accommodated us beautifully with world class customer service. It was a pleasant lunch. The food was delicious and there was a nice selection of wines. A great place to dine. “The combination of a relaxed atmosphere with top-notch food is always a winning combination. Freshly made guacamole is always a treat, especially when prepared right in front of you. The salmon and grits sound delicious, but it's fantastic to know that the burritos with prime rib stole the show. Getting such high-quality food for a reasonable price is definitely a win, especially when compared to pricier options that might not deliver the same level of satisfaction. “1lb snow crab spicy was delicious and oooff I'd have more if I could to be honest.Catfish basket also really good.Service was good other than forgetting things 3x.Drinks were on point as well as the atmosphere.Honest opinion as someone with a baby to find an almost falling apart changing table was awful. Had to use my knee to hold it together, just no. That's a huge safety hazard infant/toddlers can get hurt. “This is a beautiful fine dining restaurant with excellent service. The food is good. I enjoyed the Brussels sprouts, hummus, and in house made, flat bread. The salad with salmon was very good as well, and the crab cake. The crab cake is delicious, but the order comes with one cake only.“

The restaurant is small and nothing special to see but for a quick bite it is a nice stop. The employees have always been very nice and helpful. Highly recommend as a place to go.“

“Food is good and fresh! I love the Oysters on the half shell and their Oysters Rockefeller. The Salmon is always perfectly cooked! Drinks are great and hubby says the beer is nice and cold! Sitting outside or at the bar is our favorite place to sit. Nice place to visit if you haven't been by give em a try. Their service is good and you can't beat the Mimosa priced at $4.00.“

“Absolutely wonderful dining experience. the moment we walked in we were greeted by Shana who was so welcoming and friendly. Carla our waitress was extremely attentive and followed up during the meal to make sure everything was to our liking and came back to refill beverages. She explained the menu and made wonderful suggestions. Tania stopped by our table to greet us and to offer dining suggestions as well. She enticed us and made it so much more difficult to make a decision so for a table of 4 we ordered the nachos, tuna totopos , queso, guacamole and then my husband ordered the grilled fish, and 2 of us had the barbacoa tacos and another person had the chicken enchiladas. We also had 3 desserts! EVERYTHING was exquisite! I have never had better barbacoa! It is tender and absolutely perfectly seasoned! The chicken in the enchiladas was also beautifully seasoned. I would have just loved it on a salad ! My husband LOVED the fish and sauce and the white rice and the salad/dressing.We are in town from Dallas and will be going back before we leave! Please open Carriqui in Dallas/Plano ... We had one little hick-up which didn't matter much to me because I did not need the tortillas but the corn tortillas fell apart when we went to pick them up! We ate the tacos with a fork. Suggest that be addressed but other than that everything was perfection! We will be back before we head home!“

“The best Pappadeaux I’ve ever been to and the reason for that was our server her name was Steph. She was so kind , so attentive , and so helpful with ANY and everything our party of 6 needed. I’ll also mention we showed up at 9:40PM which is 20 minutes prior to their closure. SHE WAS AMAZING , I cant thank her enough for her service and making my birthday feel so special. “My daughter told me about this place and I'm so glad that she did. It is a small restaurant but very good and the staff were extremely nice! I'm here on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking. I went in ordered and sat down, and it didn't take long at all for my food to be done. I ordered one of their specials it was 6 pcs wings with fries and a drink for $9.99. I got the soy garlic flavored wings and they were fried to perfection and the sauce was amazing. My son ordered the fish and shrimp with fries and a drink special for $12.99 and he ate all of it. Which means it was very good because he is picky. I definitely recommend this place. Next time I go I plan on trying the Korean food because it looked so good! I even ordered my husband a 10 piece of wings to go and his were flavored with honey garlic sauce. He loved them and said he would have ate them without any sauce because they were fried perfectly and taste amazing!“

“First time coming to a Willie’s and it was very nice! Some of the food seemed a bit bland for my taste (I’m use to overly seasoned Louisiana Cajun boil) but this place is real nice! The loaded fries are super good and the sides are great, fried pickles were my favorite started and I tried the shrimp taco while my wife had the ribeye taco!The volume level was surprisingly nice, it wasn’t overly loud but still had that bar vibe to it. My wife and mom don’t like really loud restaurants but they both made comments on how nice it was to be in there!“

“Boudin balls were okay. These were crispy on the outside but hard to cut into bc they were so moist and chewy. I like mine dryer on the inside. The Dirty Rice is the best I've ever had. “We visited Flemings Steakhouse at the Quarry. We started with a blueberry lemon drop martini which was a great choice. For our appetizer, we went with their crab cakes which were super delicious. My husband also ordered the lobster bisque which was creamy rich and had generous portions of lobster. However, when it came time for the main course, there was a slight hiccup. I ordered the ribeye with a lobster tail, while my husband opted for the ribeye with crab legs. Unfortunately, my steak had an off taste that seemed like spoilage after just a couple of bites.After confirming with my husband that the steak did indeed have an unusual flavor, I decided to bring it to the attention of our waiter, Josh. I must commend the waiter for his prompt and gracious response. Without hesitation, he arranged for a replacement steak to be prepared. The second steak was a vast improvement. I am not one to send food back so I felt bad but I also didn’t want to get sick. Throughout this experience, the staff, including which I believe may have been the head chef and manager, demonstrated a high level of attentiveness and professionalism. Started out with appetizers, if you like mushrooms the stuffed mushrooms are a must, they are overflowing with cheese, spinach and sausage. Calamari was nice and crisp, the bruschetta was nicely seasoned. Main dish especially included chicken parmigiana, Umberto's penne pasta with shrimp and chicken griglia. All delicious, chicken griglia was so refreshing with basil, lemon and garlic. The shrimp in the Umberto's pasta were huge and the fresh vegetables squash, spinach and mushrooms were cooked perfectly. Of course we ordered dessert which included cheesecake, cannoli, creme brûlée and tiramisu. Will definitely be back with my family!! Huge portions, great service, nice atmosphere!!“

Unfortunately the outdoor patio is under renovations and was closed but the inside is beautifully decorated and provides an intimate setting. Chinese place may offer a hamburger, chicken fingers, or enchiladas as an alternative option. Well this seafood place is no different. However they are the exception to the rule. They specialize in everything on their menu! My wife and I have tried most everything on the menu without disappointment. We are plenty picky and we sometimes request “can you please (fill in the blank)”…The only thing you hear back is “sure, no problem, anything else I can do for you, or get you” This place is outstanding. Every cent you spend is 100% worth it. From the prices to the generous tip you should leave. Hopefully this place never goes away cause someone else will come in with their stupid ideas and ruin it.Parking: 50-70 spots comfortably.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat surface. No ramp needed“
