“We had such a wonderful experience at this sushi restaurant, and I especially want to recognize our server, Joshua! He served us today and also helped us last week. Both times, he was incredibly kind, patient, and generous with his time.

Joshua went above and beyond to help us figure out what type of sushi we wanted to try and made sure we felt comfortable with our choices. His friendly attitude and willingness to help really stood out to us.

Last week, a family member gave me their card to pay, and unfortunately, I completely forgot to leave Josh a tip. When my family member and I came back today, we made sure to give him the tip we owed him. What meant a lot to me was that Josh still treated us with the same kindness and warmth, even though I had forgotten to tip him the previous week.

That really showed me the kind of person he is. He was kind because he genuinely wanted to provide good service, not because he expected something in return.

“I have tried almost every Sushi spot in San Antonio and Shiro stands above and beyond everyplace I have been to. Every single piece of Sushi was super fresh and just melts in your mouth, it is honestly going to be hard to go anywhere else after having been to Shiro. The prices definitely reflect the quality and freshness difference compared to other places and is 110% worth it.“

“A couple of friends introduced us to this spot about a year ago. Even though I’m not a huge seafood fan, the ceviche completely won me over! But what truly stole the show was the incredible service and atmosphere. We’ve been coming back once or twice a month ever since, and it never disappoints.

Saturday is our absolute favorite night. The live music is amazing, and the lovely singer always gets everyone moving—she even comes down to dance with us! We've had so many fun nights here, including one where a group of young soccer players joined in the dancing.

Our waiter, Raul, is phenomenal. By our second visit, he already remembered my drink order without being asked, and we request him every single time now. This place truly has it all: great food, attentive service, and top-tier entertainment. We always look forward to our next visit!“

“A small, tucked-away gem. The place itself is nothing fancy. The sushi is definitely where it's at, though! The sushi was fresh and very good. My favorite was the Tocino roll; it has an amazing, bright kiss of lemon which puts it on another level. The only real drawback to this place is the prices. A few rolls start adding up really quickly, so for us, it is more of a place to go occasionally instead of on a regular basis. If you really love sushi, Yellowfish is definitely a place that you have to try!“

I am so glad we came by to give it a chance. Lacy was our server & she was great. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and so attentive!
We had spicy tuna crispy rice, kanki roll, gohan rice, edamame, and I think the rock shrimp roll. Everything was fresh and so good. We definitely be back!

“Coming from VA to CA then coming here and trying multiple poke places I truly enjoyed their bowls. Yes they are a tad on the tiny side but the taste? immaculate! I also really enjoyed the cream cheese I never had that before or even offered with my bowl so it was a taste that I wasn't ready for and actually was happily surprised. I even ordered two bowls to prepare for my finish of the first, anyways all in all this is the spot 10/10“

“Jose is our guy, we have been here on several occasions and prefer to sit in his section. He takes great care of us and lets us take our time! Food is great, we are bummed that some items are exclusive to the All You Can Eat choices but other than that, we usually walk out full, happy and in a great mood. It can get loud in certain spaces of the restaurant.“

“The only regret I have is not living closer so I can be here more often! Before I even ordered food, the service was impeccable. My card was compromised at 5am Sunday and although I opted to wait until Monday morning to deal with it, the bank put a hold on my account, rightfully so. They were so patient as I dealt with trying to transfer funds to another account and even started on my order so when it would be ready by the time I completed payment. By the time I made payment, food was packed and hot! We were so hungry, we decided to eat it there. We had no problem eating it in our to go boxes, but they insisted on putting it on plates. The food was amazing! Best Thai food I've ever had here in town. I'm so grateful for a restaurant that has food that aligns with their service and values. We can't wait to return!“

“We came in from out of town. Our family recommended us to go eat there! It was our first time eating Korean BBQ! We loved it!!!! Our children liked the shrimp tempura, shrimp friend rice and ramen. Make sure you order just the regular broth with the ramen 🍜 if it’s for your kids. If not it’s a bit spicy if you don’t. It’s very temp hot too. Ethan are server was pleasant and attentive. Good chunks of shrimp, chicken and gorgeous veggies and sweet chili sauce to add. Pan fried dumplings were plump and delicious! We have been here so many times and will always go back!“
