“Taco Capital absolutely delivered. The carne asada was perfectly seasoned and incredibly flavorful, honestly some of the best I’ve had. And the chips… wow. They were crispy, fresh, and somehow tasted like fritos (in the best way), which made them impossible to stop eating. The salsas were so, so delicious and paired perfectly with everything. I also have to mention the agua fresca... it was really delicious and so refreshing. On top of that, the customer service was excellent! Friendly, helpful, and fast. The restaurant was clean, and set up simply for efficiency, which I loved. It’s perfect if you want to grab and go tacos without sacrificing quality. Taco Capital is the kind of place that makes you want to bring friends back with you. Highly recommend!“

“I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Located near the airport in a tucked away location, RO-HO Pork & Bread is a hidden gem. This is comfort food at it's finest. Ro-Ho has many great things on the menu, but they are best known for their Torta Ahogada, and it's what I get almost every time. The torta is always hot, the carnitas cooked to perfection, and the tomato salsa is to die for. You can get the torta with straight carnitas or you can mix it up with carnitas, pork stomach and skin, which is what I usually get. The torta also comes with cabbage, onion, radish and lime. No matter how you order it, it's going to be great! The place is super cool, with Mexican artwork and music. There is inside seating and an outside covered patio as well. Everything you can get to drink from the cold case is always ice cold. And they serve one of my favorite Mexican beers, Victoria. Chef Rojo is often around and greets customers. The ladies that work the register and food line are so friendly, and will answer questions if it's your first time. The place fills up quickly at lunch, so keep that in mind. I drive clear across town for my Torta Ahogada fix, if that says anything! Check this place out!“

“Arrived early, 635 am, to Tacos N Salsa Mexican Cafe on 1604 to order 21 breakfast burritos. I greeted the first worker, setting up tables along the outside of the store, with a "Good morning"...her reply was, "we are not open yet" and locked the door behind her. I laughed and waited outside. The burritos were exceptional and well priced.“

My wife had the Fajita Enchilada platter (very good and far larger than she could eat at one sitting). I had the Tamale platter (two pork + 1 jalapeño and cheese) which was simple and very good (loved the Charro bean accompaniment). Our drinks (Santa Margarita and Red Pear Sangria) were both excellent and refreshing. “Used them for a teacher luncheon and they delivered to our school. The elevator was broken and the two ladies carried trays and huge coolers up 2 high flights of stairs at least 7 times up and down. I get exhausted going up once. They had the most pleasant attitude.The food was delicious and the presentation of the trays and warmers was perfect! When we first arrived wasn’t busy but people started coming in.

Usually a restaurant has its subtle specialties but here everyone was really good. We tried, chicharron (thick and not soggy), sausage ranchero, migas taco, kids pancake breakfast, and bean and cheese. The refried beans take bean and cheese taco to next level.

We also tried menudo(waiter let us try since we already ordered, amazing flavor and will order next time.“
