I expected to get 1 whole avocado stuffed with the ingredients listed but instead I received half an avocado which wasn't filling for $8.99 on a small plate so after eating i was still hungry.“

“My mom and I was getting birth certificates around the corner and my mom was craving Barbacoa so I googled the closest and this place popped up! I’m so glad we took the chance because let me tell you the food was so delicious! Definitely can taste the homemade cooking. Very authentic. I wish I took a photo but trust me when I say “heaven in your mouth.” Homemade corn and flour tortillas were severed. I will definitely come back and recommend to everyone in the Southtown/downtown area. Overall, great experience and wonderful family owned.“

“Taco Capital absolutely delivered. The carne asada was perfectly seasoned and incredibly flavorful, honestly some of the best I’ve had. And the chips… wow. They were crispy, fresh, and somehow tasted like fritos (in the best way), which made them impossible to stop eating. The salsas were so, so delicious and paired perfectly with everything. I also have to mention the agua fresca... it was really delicious and so refreshing. On top of that, the customer service was excellent! Friendly, helpful, and fast. “Arrived early, 635 am, to Tacos N Salsa Mexican Cafe on 1604 to order 21 breakfast burritos. I greeted the first worker, setting up tables along the outside of the store, with a "Good morning"...her reply was, "we are not open yet" and locked the door behind her. I laughed and waited outside. The burritos were exceptional and well priced.“

“I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Located near the airport in a tucked away location, RO-HO Pork & Bread is a hidden gem. This is comfort food at it's finest. Ro-Ho has many great things on the menu, but they are best known for their Torta Ahogada, and it's what I get almost every time. The torta is always hot, the carnitas cooked to perfection, and the tomato salsa is to die for. You can get the torta with straight carnitas or you can mix it up with carnitas, pork stomach and skin, which is what I usually get. The torta also comes with cabbage, onion, radish and lime. No matter how you order it, it's going to be great! The place is super cool, with Mexican artwork and music. There is inside seating and an outside covered patio as well. Everything you can get to drink from the cold case is always ice cold. And they serve one of my favorite Mexican beers, Victoria. Chef Rojo is often around and greets customers. The ladies that work the register and food line are so friendly, and will answer questions if it's your first time. The place fills up quickly at lunch, so keep that in mind. I drive clear across town for my Torta Ahogada fix, if that says anything! Check this place out!“

“We stopped in to celebrate our son's 12th birthday, his wish was to go plane spotting as a family. My husband remembered from his childhood how close the planes would fly while coming in to land at the airport so we decided to visit again. Best choice ever! The staff is kind, courteous and attentive. The patio is absolutely perfect for plane spotting! It is beautiful with an amazing garden themed atmosphere.
