“New to the city and a co worker had polo Pepe in break room it smelled very good and I dined in on off day . First walking in on lunch rush establishment was clean and Joana welcomed me with a beautiful smile. Recommended a few items such as the chicken bowl and took my order with I opted for 2x meal with Mexican rice and unsweetened tea. The food was fresh and fast. After first bite it reminded me of a childhood memory of well that doesn’t matter it’s the past and Pepe is currently my new fav. Will return for the family meal @ $41.99 16 pieces of chicken 4 sides +4 drinks can’t go wrong. Practicing my Spanish Polo Pepe es muy bueno“

“Shawarma Alzaeem is hands down one of my favorite places in San Antonio. The food is absolutely delicious. If you love that New York halal-cart style chicken over rice, lamb over rice, shawarma, and those bold, savory flavors, you need to try this place.
The portions are VERY generous, the food is fresh, flavorful, and filling, and you truly get your money’s worth. They do not skimp on the meat or portions at all.
What really makes this place stand out, though, is the owner. He is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like more than just another customer. Every time my son and I have come here, we’ve been treated with kindness and made to feel at home, almost like part of the family. That kind of service is hard to find.
You can tell there is real pride and care behind both the food and the way customers are treated. I’ve recommended Shawarma Alzaeem before, and I’ll continue recommending it. If you’re looking for some of the best chicken over rice, lamb over rice, or shawarma in San Antonio, this is absolutely a place worth trying. Five stars without hesitation.“

“family friendly environment.. empolyees are the best. best manager ever. great food fast service. Far and few amazing people still exist in this world. But let me tell you. This amazing man did not have to even say happy birthday to my little man. He went above and beyond we ever expected.Georgie got to input his own oder... and the manager paid for mijos dinner and even dessert..even announced happy birthday me king over the p.a.. when we were done eating he brings a box out.i though he was gonne restock beverage counter.. but no he said" i have something for you" and pulls out a freddy shirt.and to many it may not mean anything but to me it does. What happened next almost made me cry Georgie says mom When i grow up im gonna do the same thing for a small kids like he did with me.. he made my day and made me happy. I wanna work here and do the same one day. And i know he may not work at freddys but those small gestures like this amazing man did something for my son today that will go with him for a life time. Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers thank yall for having amazing employees.we didnt get his name. But thank you sir for making my kings day a very special one..“

“This is our five or six time here. The employees are great at Potranco rd in San Antonio ! We came for dinner and Kristy was awesome. The food is fresh and flavor is consistent. I highly recommend this location and restaurant!! Five stars and give Kristy a raise she’s great! The staff was quick and always smiling!!!!! The parking has shaded areas to the side. This is a must have in San Antonio. Excellent team!!!!!!!!❤️🙏🏻“

“Best burger (I got the 1604, double Pattie with Bacon) I’ve had in a LOOOONG time! I like a greasy burger (grease = flavor to me) and this didn’t disappoint. Burger is delicious!! Bacon was thick and cooked perfectly! Onion rings are great, taste home made (versus packaged frozen and fried), and mozzarella sticks are good (also look homemade, versus packaged frozen and fried). If people try their burgers, I expect to see a line out the door.“

“This location tends to feel cleaner than the others but the only issue I have with this location is every time I come here they forget something whether it’s onions on my burger or like today they forgot my fries twice or they forgotten my milkshake before, last time i ate in store they brought me and my friends other peoples burger. they always handle it very fast but i wish there wasn’t all these little issues“

“Thank you to the awesome staff at 5 Guys Westover Hills crew!!! We came in starving on 06/02 in the afternoon after a disappointing hour+ wait at another establishment a few shops over. We went to try something special in celebration of our daughter and her friend's accomplishments (5th grade graduation). We threw in the towel and walked down to be welcomed in by friendly faces, cold drinks & hot food within a matter of minutes! Our fries were over flowing and seasoned to perfection. The burgers were HOT with crisp bacon and lettuce. Our upset party including grumpy kids went straight into quiet from eating than laughing. Thank you again for helping us end the day what we set out to do, make their day a little more special. ❤️“

“Great food and location, customer service has been great too. No problems there.
My only recommendation is that staff needs to FILL UP the cups of coffee when serving to the customers. I always buy 2 cups of coffee in the morning but while the whole experience is fabulous and staff is always smiling and attentive...the cups of coffee are only about half or little over that. We pay for a cup of coffee, not for HALF cup of air!
Anyway, I love you guys and think very highly of this location in particular. God bless you and take care!“

“during the snow storm I saw this dairy Queen open, with a line past and around the fred fish for like four hours straight and they knocked it all out every customer , them workers deserve a bonus of some sort ,they could of been home , with there families but chose to to be at work and provide a hot meal to ad many as possible“

“We visited this place for the first time on Saturday, June 28. The food is delicious! The wait staff attentive and the owner was so friendly and welcoming! I am so very picky with Mexican food and I am happy to report they did NOT disappoint! Their dessert (churros with cajeta/ ice cream) was delicious. We are SO going back this weekend to try something new. Visitamos este lugar por primera vez el sábado 28 de junio. ¡La comida está deliciosa! La señorita que atiende las mesas fue muy atenta y la dueña fue muy amable. Soy muy exigente con la comida mexicana y me alegra decir que no me decepcionaron. Su postre (churros con cajeta/helado de vainilla) estaba delicioso. ¡Volveremos este fin de semana para probar algo nuevo!“
