While the smells from the kitchen were good, the patty was a frozen, charbroiled patty and didn't taste fresh at all. Will go back but will probably avoid any of the burgers.“

“Still good but a step back in quality of the original Olmos Park location. Those burgers were sublime, a steal at their prices, and the place was always packed. I know it's seven years ago but look up MySanAntonio's review from 2019 and you'll understand. Today the patties were dry not juicy(most places cook to medium well), no scratch made poppey seed buns, and fries not double fried with the same tasting seasoning everyone else has. Didn't even want to compare their wet au poivre sauce to how it was before. Again still serviceable burgers but the originals were made with so much love and attention to detail like that cheeseburger at the end of the movie The Menu.“

“Best burger (I got the 1604, double Pattie with Bacon) I’ve had in a LOOOONG time! I like a greasy burger (grease = flavor to me) and this didn’t disappoint. Burger is delicious!! Bacon was thick and cooked perfectly! Onion rings are great, taste home made (versus packaged frozen and fried), and mozzarella sticks are good (also look homemade, versus packaged frozen and fried). If people try their burgers, I expect to see a line out the door.“

He went above and beyond we ever expected.Georgie got to input his own oder... and the manager paid for mijos dinner and even dessert..even announced happy birthday me king over the p.a.. when we were done eating he brings a box out.i though he was gonne restock beverage counter.. but no he said" i have something for you" and pulls out a freddy shirt.and to many it may not mean anything but to me it does. What happened next almost made me cry Georgie says mom When i grow up im gonna do the same thing for a small kids like he did with me.. he made my day and made me happy. I wanna work here and do the same one day. And i know he may not work at freddys but those small gestures like this amazing man did something for my son today that will go with him for a life time. I’m here having lunch with my daughter and watched a group of first responders walk in. The cashier immediately let the manager know, and they were greeted like celebrities…
Whether it was special treatment, discounts, or just genuine appreciation, it was awesome to see.

The respect and support you show for the community says a lot about the kind of place this is. Great food, great people, and a business that clearly cares.

I will make sure my future generations also enjoy Chester’s!!

“I googled burger places near me and this was the first one listed. Awesome suggestion by Google. It's a small restaurant but I like how it's very welcoming, the employees were very nice, the food was cooked well done. And budget friendly will come back again. They did so well I gave a 30% tip. Definitely coming back with some church friends who want to eat at a local family restaurant.“

“I went with my daughter during midday yesterday and we ordered 4 different types of burgers. When we got home, there was nothing but joy on her face, she was starving and was corrected on asking what took so long (she is 6) and she left not a crumb, I apologize to you guys for that. She rarely finishes anything and is a very picky eater...I could not tell off of that burger (cheeseburger standard) because I don't think she chewed it was gone so fast.

I had the jalapeno burger and it was delicious, great in every way. The bun was awesome. My wife had some and then went after the bacon burger, she was not disappointed. The fries are awesome too. We will be back.“
