“First time here, sitting here right now and OMG THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! Got a breakfast sandwich and also 3 beignets… strawberry, churro and their special and to say that 1…. SO GOOD AND I WANT TO FINISH BUT HAD NO IDEA THAT THE BREAKFAST SANDWICH ALONE WOULD HAVE FILLED ME UP!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤 the coffee is rich in flavor and here is the thing… I am NOT a coffee drinker!! 💜💜💜 10 out of 10 is REALLY NOT ENOUGH!! 100 out of 10 is more like it!! “We are visiting from Southern California and O M G! These pancakes are the best I’ve ever had! Big, thick, fluffy, and creamy. No syrup needed, but that Vermont Maple puts these over the top! 10/10 recommend! We will definitely be coming here to eat on our next visit to San Antonio“

“Made a reservation ahead but didn’t need it. Inside was very clean and friendly welcome. Great server, nice attitude. Quick order and food on table in about 10 minutes. Food was very delicious. Server filled drinks as needed. Ambiance was very nice and not over done. We loved it and will return.“

“We had such amazing service from the moment we walked in and were welcomed in by the hostess. She greeted us with a big smile and seated our party of 8. Our server was pretty awesome. Our experience was awesome and we owe it all to Natalie Villastrigo and Abby the General Manager for the phenomenal welcoming and service. I have to say Natalie truly cares about her customers and ensures they have the best service and experience to ensure their return. Abby we will be back soon. We appreciated all the love.“

“The kolache breakfast sandwich is where it's at!! Oh and the filled donuts, blueberry is my favorite but the other fruit filings are just as delicious. Also, try the kolache sandwich with some jam like the blueberry jalapeño jam from Buc-ees), you won't regret it!!“

“My wife and I go to VP whenever we drive out to another city, getting a breakfast sandwich and maybe a donut. They always take care of us with a few extra donut holes and their food is tasty. Even day old, their donuts still hold up while most chain donut shops don't.“

“Got a lovely assortment of doughnuts around 6:35 A.M. and they taste fresh and they had a good amount of choices. I wish the jelly filled doughnuts were ready, but that’s ok. The Vietnamese coffee was very good and the perfect amount of sweet (I drank some on the way home before snapping a pic). The guy working the front was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend grabbing doughnuts here!“

“Very good brunch with a generous portion sized biscuit with plenty crammed in… eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and cheese! The biscuit was dwarfed by the stack of ingredients. I had to use a fork and knife as I couldn’t handle it without making a mess. Give the Five & Dime a try! And the maple coffee is the way to go. Yummy!“

“Absolutely worth going here! Food is so so good. Honestly the best breakfast place I’ve had in a long time. Definition of a little hole in the wall restaurant. Our waitress Jenova was the absolute sweetest, and a very attentive waitress.“

It was obvious that they were short staffed for both front and back of house.
Hopefully next time I am at this location it will be a better situation for the staff.

“My son and I went to IHOP at this location on Christmas day. We got seated immediately with surprise me because there was some people there before us. Our server was great a lot of energy for someone who was working on her 12th hour. I had had a big breakfast so I didn't think I was going to be that hungry my son came over around 2 in the afternoon I was going to order light which is two pancakes two of everything and I was surprised I ate it all the food which was great, my son had his sampler his favorite.... the atmosphere was great very festive lots of families there and the staff was very courteous full of the Christmas spirit it makes you really feel welcome there. I think the servers and food preparers does a lot of credit for working on a holiday like that especially Christmas. As we were leaving we were all wished a very merry Christmas I couldn't be more impressed especially at this location I had never been there before and it was very close to where I live. I just want to thank all the people who work there who sacrificed a part of their day to make their customers happy with a great meal...“

“As always, yummy Pumpkin Pancakes, the only pancakes I will eat. My over easy eggs were perfect. My bacon was supposed to be crispy but it was more tough, maybe odd batch. 5 yr old granddaughter gobbled her Smiley Face pancake with banana & strawberries so fast, I don't know if she actually tasted. Lol. Service was excellent. We had a large group of family & friends and we were all happy with experience.“

“EDIT We visited at about 10 a.m. on a Sunday. The place was busy but there was no sense of frustration from the staff. They, and the kitchen, were efficient and pleasant. Definitely will return. We did, in fact, return and it was fabulous. Ivan was so attentive and funny.“

“Our server was quick and helpful without hovering. Our $6 Omelets that came with two pancakes were great. In this economy, it's good to be able to get two meals and two drinks for around $20! We wanted to leave a good tip for all of that, and it still was not as expensive as one would think IHOP food would be.“

“Thank you to our server Adrian. Today was a long day and it's my birthday 9-11-2026. The customer service was great. The young man was very polite considered our experience to continuously asked us if we need anything and if we were okay. Communicated with him what we needed or wanted and he got it right away. The atmosphere gets four stars because of the loud dishwasher who was rude to the people behind this explaining herself in regards to who she was and what she doesn't do then took forever to come back with what was requested. She rudely told a customer I'm not the waitress he is on the dishwasher.“
