“I eat a lot of donuts. Like A LOT. So you can trust my opinion that these are the best donuts I’ve found, definitely in San Antonio, possibly America? For reference I once transported a maple bar all the way from San Antonio to Lubbock and the receiver of said donut said that even in its squished state it was better than any maple bar in Lubbock. The donuts are always fresh and have the right texture. If you like a filled donut this place is especially good! There are probably 12 filling options and they fill it when you order at the counter! Definitely check out Snowflake!“

Fresh Donuts is this nondescript little donut shop —and they are my favourite business in San Antonio.
This place isn't stylish; there's no "decor". But it is always immaculately clean; nothing out of place, everything tidy and orderly.
This isn't hipster donuts, where you're paying $5 for a "lavender mint cruller with salted caramel glaze"; they serve normal, traditional donuts here. But they are always fresh, always delicious, and always consistent: the donuts look like they could be photographed for an ad: perfectly shaped, uniform coverage of the icing, shiny glazes...

My favourite is the glazed blueberry cake donut, and I always add a chocolate ring with sprinkles, and the cost for TWO donuts is $2.70 including tax!

“Finally got to go to this establishment after all the fuss died down. Doughnuts are delightful as expected, however if you don't get the voodoo dozen you will be charged a irrational amount of 41.00$ for a dozen doughnuts and the funny part is only 2 doughnuts we not in the special "voodoo dozen" they must be extremely proud of those 2 for an extra 10 or 15$. The last thing would be the parking. I parked 2 blocks away and just walked. I'm not paying to park then spending 40$ on doughnuts just to leave. To me the math just ain't mathin. So if you want to be extravagant this is your place but if you want quality doughnuts in SA this might not be your place.“

“We found it! A bakery worth the calories! I was skeptical as I pulled up but just step inside and it's clean, organized, cute and smells amazing! The baker was very friendly and helpful and fluent in Spanish and English. Even the other customers were friendly. “I prefer the original Krispy kremes. The barbie themed donuts are lovely but way too sweet. The only negative (in my opinion) is if you go inside there are no clear prices posted. Drive thru does include prices for each item avaliable.
