“My wife and I moved to San Antonio from Lake Charles, Louisiana. We have missed Cajun food ever since. However, today, we found Delightful Donuts and saw they offered Boudin Kolaches. We ordered three of them to share. After that, having that first bite, our minds were flooded with memories of our life in Louisiana, which was taken from us due to a hurricane. I highly recommend this place based on the taste and freshness of the food. The boudin kolaches were seasoned just right, giving it that taste of home.“

“This is truly a neighborhood donut shop. They are located in a small shopping area surrounded by neighborhoods. They always have a great selection. They fill the long John’s to order and have several flair options. Staff is always friending. There’s a drive that that is consistently busy. They also make kolaches and croissant sandwiches. We live the bodain kolache.“

“This was the first trip for us to a Voodoo Donuts. The display one of each in a rotating cabinet and then grab the actuals of trays or out back. Looks smaller in the display and then they bring out super sized. It’s hard to correlate the display to what you’ll get, we ended up ordering too many given the enormous variation in sizes. Donuts were all super good and fresh and tasty!“

“I stopped by early this morning around 6am. The lady at the counter was very friendly and professional. She seemed like she was happy to be there greeting and serving the customers. It's not often you get great customer service like that anymore. We got the bacon, egg, and cheese croissants and two doughnuts for our granddaughters. Everything was delicious and freshly made with love! This was a great way to start our day! I didn't get her name but the lady that tended to us deserves a raise for being bright and cheery so early in the morning!“

“Got a lovely assortment of doughnuts around 6:35 A.M. and they taste fresh and they had a good amount of choices. I wish the jelly filled doughnuts were ready, but that’s ok. The Vietnamese coffee was very good and the perfect amount of sweet (I drank some on the way home before snapping a pic). The guy working the front was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend grabbing doughnuts here!“

“If you get here around 4:30 the Donuts are so hot and fresh out of the oven made fresh every morning. Definitely my favorite time to go. They’re only open until 2pm so the freshness lasts all day. I cannot get enough of these donuts. Definitely a must stop on your early morning route. If I could give 10 stars I would!“

“Everybody knows that Shipley’s beats the pants off of fancy Dunkin Donuts. This location is one of the first in San Antonio. No. It’s not cool or hip, but the donuts are plentiful, fresh and delicious. The kolaches are also very fresh. The service is fast, friendly, and the employees were eager to please and very thoughtful in packing and labeling my large order for the office. The location is old, but very clean and on my way to work. Make them your go-to place today!“

The coffee is good as well, but the cups they use have a tendancy to pop open and spill the coffee if you don't hold them correctly. Granted, that may be a supply issue, but it caused me to spill coffee on my pants, but luckily it was not very hot at that time.“

“I don't know her name, but there was a very sweet lady working at the drive-thru window around 11:30 a.m. today. I stopped by to get donuts for my son because it's his birthday, and he specifically wanted a bear claw. Unfortunately, they were sold out, which I completely understand since it was already late in the morning.
We picked something else instead, and she kindly added some donut holes when she found out it was his birthday. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that truly made our day.

“Donuts are always fresh and delicious. I ordered 1/2 dozen spicy sausage kolaches and 1/2 sausage and cheese. The bread is light and airy. The sausages were good, but skinny which made the meat to bread ratio off. Make the dough smaller or add another sausage and they would be perfect 👌. Other than that, they were delish.“
