“Crumble takes the cake!! First time I ever had crumble I could barely believe it they are huge!! We have since acquired a crumble slicer for the sole purpose of cutting the cookies into four pieces. We are so grateful for crumble donating cookies to several church events. Most recently our youth pinewood derby race and a baptismal service. Thank you for these delicious and scrumptious crumble cookies“
“I always love coming here! It's a great place to take family, friends, co-workers, to have birthday breakfast or lunch! There's lots of seating. However, if you go from 10-12am the place is usually filled up.The tequila almond croissant is to die for!Conchas are usually not my favorite due to them having no flavor... However, at La Panaderia the conchas are delicious and have lots of flavor! All in all highly recommend coming here whether you're new to San Antonio, just stopping by, or live here!“
“Really adorable coffee shop with community focused vibes ?I tried a bunch of different coffee shops on my visit to San Antonio but this one was my favorite! They had three pour over options, and each one was delicious and well made. They also have delicious baked goods from chickpea bakery (vegan). They have non vegan baked goods as well. The baristas are super kind and friendly, and it makes you feel like you are really welcome to hang out for a while. If you decide to enjoy your drink at the cafe, they will serve it in an gorgeous handmade ceramic mug, and they there are a lot of ceramics available for purchase. Can't wait to come back here on my next visit!“
“This bakery, catering business does it all. Their cakes are not only beautiful in design, but taste amazing. The attention to details. Amy does a wonderful job being the amazing decorator and face of this small business. The meal prep meals are fast and easy to go! Delicious too! We had their Catered meals, we've done Christmas dinners, breakfast for meetings all of it delicious and done with care. Thank you“
“I am a pan dulce addict. This place omg is the best. I was introduced by a friend and she was right. They have amazing pan dulce. I highly recommend this place. I am making weekly visits to stock up on my favorites especially as the weather continues to get colder. Check them out.“
“Super cute pie shop, I stumbled upon going to brunch. Customer service was great. The pies are a great personal size, or you can share, lol. We got the 4 pack with Pecan, Banana Creme, Peanut Butter, and Chewy Chocolate for $22. All were good, but the peanut butter one was the favorite.“
“Very nice place. Felt welcome walking in the door. They were ready to serve and answer any of our questions. The raspberry tart was so visually pleasing I had to try it. It had a brittle crust. Easy to bite through but firm enough to hold in your hand. The cream was smooth and the raspberries fresh. Tried the walnut baklava. It was very delightful, flaky and sweet but not too sweet. If you are looking for great tasting and visually stunning pastries and great service, check them out!!“
“Having gluten and dairy allergies, finding food that is delicious can be difficult. Every single thing I’ve tried here was absolutely amazing!! I couldn’t believe it was all gluten free and vegan. I also really enjoyed the matcha latte. 10/10 would come back!Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free and vegan!“
“The Keto pizza was wonderful. The crust was crisp and I have had the cauliflower crust at few other places, but the crust was nice and crisp!!! The wings were great and so was the Bloody Mary!!!We took home pumpkin pie cheesecake square that was keto friendly…. Operative word is WAS. It was so good that it was gone in 4 bites!!!We will be back soon!!!“
“At first glance outside you might wonder if you are at the right place. Walk in to the most friendly, cozy panderia you've ever been! Love this family business attitude! Right away they ask if you've ever been there before and then walk you thru what they have for the day. Let me tell you.....hard choices and you just might walk out of there with one of everything! We ended up with a bag full of goodies. Very reasonably priced I might add! The concha's were so fresh and moist; not dry at all. Very fresh taste! I'm not a big fan of tres leche but wow! Definitely a fan of theirs! Moist; not too sweet but sweet enough. Very fresh! We walked in not long after they opened to an empty business; then turned around after they finished telling us about everything and there was a line out the door! If you are looking for a great panderia and wonderful service; this is the place to go!“
“Have never had an issue until yesterday. My second time at this location. No one greeted upon entering the store. Then I was given wrong cookie, and topping was melted. I quickly told them I didn't order raspberry one but the oatmeal skillet. Then it seemed like the oatmeal was rushed. There was hardly any drizzle or crumbs. Cookie and mousse were delicious. ? Hopefully future experiences and purchases will be better“
“Can you please fix the app, ever since the update with the Olivia Rodrigo GUTS tour cookie has been on display, I haven't been able to use the mystery cookie radar feature, it's my favorite feature that crumbl has and I love being able to quickly find where the best mystery cookies are! Much love crumblParking: Dedicated parking spots for pickups :)“
“Great food and service!! Came out for a private work event and everyone loved the food and coffee. Can’t recommend this place enough! They were very responsive and attentive to the large crowd. Thank you so much, Jen! It was a pleasure meeting you and your family!“
“I called them 6 days before my daughter’s birthday after another baker canceled my order . They accepted and did amazing shop with my cake for spa party for kids. It required lots of details , they mastered it and the taste was great. Thank you so much ?“
“Stopped here for breakfast while visiting San Antonio. Definitely not your average donut shop! Best donuts and kolaches I’ve had in Texas. They had a wide variety of baked goods including some tasty looking croissants that I am regretting talking myself out of.“
“I had flight delays and had missed the Saturday pick up time for my order. They are closed Sundays. I called Monday to see if there was a way to get the order of delicious cookies for the moms to be & was pleasantly surprised they offered to remake the order! They have gained a loyal customer for all our family events and I appreciate the help after a stressful day. Thank you Lilys Cookie team! Delicious cookies and exceptional customer service, no doubt you’ll be in business for years to come.“
“This was our second time placing a cake order with Blanca’s Cakes & Catering. We decided to go with Blanca’s Cakes for the second time because we had an excellent experience with the first cake. They went above and beyond with a custom printed label which included a functioning QR Code that pulled up a YouTube video of Stevie Wonder singing Happy Birthday and we were all amazed! This just showcased their attention to detail (with both cakes) we had no idea this is something they would include and it made the cake that much more special. The flavor was delicious, moist and they offer a wide variety of selections for flavors and fillings. The cake matched the example image we provided and it was ready on time; we had zero issues with ordering a custom cake. The customer service is great and we were actually able to meet Blanca the second time around and she is wonderful!I’d highly recommend this place for custom cakes. They’re friendly, have fair pricing, and clear communication.“
“Can’t stop recommending this place! Amazing selection of top tier pastries, a good selection of savory & filling kolaches & tacos, and a wonderful & joyful staff.Truly a gem of downtown San Antonio. If you needed a sign to go try it out, THIS IS YOUR SIGN! (Personally the horchata donut SLAPSSS)“
“Absolutely amazing. This place offers a delightful culinary journey through the rich and flavorful traditions of Afghanistan. With its inviting atmosphere, authentic dishes, and attentive service, it's no wonder this restaurant has become a beloved destination for food enthusiasts seeking a taste of the exotic.“
“This is a slightly late review. I had a conference to cater last month. It was on Monday when the kolache stop is closed. I called and spoke to the owner to see if they would be ok to buy on Sunday, but serve the next day. After a few minutes, he told me he would coordinate so I could get them fresh Monday morning. He was too proud of his product to let them be served next day. And boy does he have a reason to be proud! Absolutely amazing. I had at least 10 people find me to ask here the kolache were from. Extremely impressed and will be a repeat costumer!PS I did have some leftover the next day...and they were still delicious ?“
“Beautiful big cupcakes! My first birthday cake was from this place. 36 years later and I'm still eating cakes from here. Ordered my mom who has given our family many Esmeralda cakes, some birthday cupcakes and she loved them. I placed these on a 3 tier cupcake display and it looked amazing.“
“One of my absolute favorite coffee shops in San Antonio! The staff are always so sweet and welcoming with every single visit. The coffee is unique ( in the best way ) and, they have an amazing combination of flavors. I love how they do a great job of recommending different drinks, too!“
“I will definitely go back for more! Two tacos for less than $4 Wow! I usually buy a bacon & egg taco & a bean & cheese taco for breakfast. These were delicious & the bean & cheese taco was a big fat taco. I’m glad to finally see that, because it’s probably one of the cheapest taco to make, but not all places make it this way. The flour tortillas are big n fluffy too! Gotta try more food here! Beautiful pan dulce in the case also. Lots of items to taste.“
“Oh Yeah cakes did a spectacular job on our wedding cakes down to the very last detail of matching my dog on the cake. So many of our guests loved Sophia being included on the wedding cake. The wedding cake was the fabulous lemon raspberry & grooms cake was a delicious German chocolate cake. Oh Yeah Cakes is an outstanding bakery, very competitive & by far surpasses the older well known bakeries.“
“I called in and put an order in for 18 cupcakes about 5 days before I needed them. Ordering them was was beyond simple and my request came out exactly as described on the phone. The biggest bonus is that the cupcakes were amazing! Every guest at my fiancée's party was surprised at how great they were. I continued to receive compliments on them throughout the night.10/10! I will continue to support this veteran owned and operated business for any baking/party needs in the future. (I would share photos but all the cupcakes were eaten)“
“"Coffee Bliss and Delectable Delights – A Favorite Post-Church Haven"This coffee shop has become one of my absolute favorite places to visit, especially after church. The cozy ambiance, rich coffee, and mouthwatering bakery selection create a haven of delight. It has become a cherished tradition for me and my loved ones. A must-visit spot that adds a special touch to our post-church gatherings!“
“Cute little bakery in southtown! They have good coffee too (try the Angie's special if you're a fan of cinnamon and espresso). The baked goods depend on the day, but even mid-afternoon on a Sunday they had a lot of options available! They had a variety of options for everyone. I will have to come back sometime to try a slice of cake!“
“So the attorney I work for his birthday is January 6, and I forgot to order his cake early in the week, so I placed the order Thursday afternoon and Devon promised that he would have it ready Friday, and I was so appreciative that he was able to accommodate me with my order. The staff is so wonderful and the cake was so delicious. I really liked the ambiance of a small family owned bakery. I highly recommend this bakery, you will not regret it.“
“I really liked the sweet bread that I bought it was moderately priced. And the tortillas for my tacos were absolutely delicious soft and fluffy. I got potato and country sausage barbacoa, bean and cheese for me my daughter and granddaughter they were all very good but like so many other places a bit pricey. If I'm in the area I would go back but I wouldn't go out of my way to get there.“
“Lifesaver! It was my wife's birthday and due to Valentine's Weekend and Super Bowl, HEB was packed... So I decided to search for a couple of bakeries nearby and this was just perfect. They had my wife's favorite cake (strawberry nuts) there and it was delicious. Definitely returning.“
“I enjoy coming here when I'm visiting San Antonio. Has a lot of the Filipino staples I miss PLUS some freshly made snacks (siumai, halo halo, Spanish bread, etc). It is a bit more expensive than what I'm used to but still not a bad price.“
“This was my first time here. I am not really a donut fan., but when I like a doughnut, I like a doughnut. This is my first time trying the doughnut from this bakery. It was amazing. Probably one of my most favorite donuts. I will definitely be back!“
“Great food, good service. Owner is attentive and his love of the food really translates. A must try. Traditional Mexican sweet bread with a personal twist. Other food and drinks are very good too.Parking: Busy street, parking is at a premium, but you can park in the street very close by.“
“We’ve purchased cakes and cupcakes from Cosmic Cakery twice now. Both times, we have received outstanding service and amazing cakes that both look good and taste delicious! We highly recommend them and look forward to more amazing creations in the future!Kid-friendliness: My daughter requested a unicorn cake with glitter on top and filled with sunbutter icing. She was so thrilled with her cake!“
“This is a really popular little shop. The food is great and my wife likes the coffee. Service is good and fast. You can also order online. Definitely recommend.Parking can be a bit challenging at times, but good things usually involve a challenge of some sort.“
“I had seen this place for over a year and never saw it open. I passed by on a Saturday a couple of months ago and saw it open and was excited to try it out. I have been back at least five times since then. They have the best sausage croissant sandwich I have ever had. The Kountry boy kolache is also very good. The food is always fresh and the bread is so soft. I also like the vanilla ice coffee. I am not a big donut fan, but the donuts are also good. Tia is so nice and friendly. The shop is a great addition to the neighborhood. I will be a lifelong customer.“
“Mackie’s Cakes knocked it out of the park, took a challenge to put a vintage fountain under the cake. Mine was oversized. They gotthe measurements, built and painted a stand and had it ready just in time for our special day! Cake was amazing as the first time we Tried it. So fresh and light. Flowers matched the theme exactly! Our guests ate every last bite! So happy and recommend them 1000%“
“Fiesta Bakery is within a few minutes drive of one of the UNESCO world heritage San Antonio missions - Mission Conception. Tip: don’t judge the quality of the food inside by the appearance of the bakery on the outside (or inside for that matter). Excellent price-quality ratio and very friendly team working there! We ordered a selection of colorful polvorones (sugar cookies that are crunchy on the outside and softer on the inside), coconut macaroons (rich in flavor, perfectly moist & chewy) apple- and pumpkin-filled empanadas (recommend to eat when slightly warmed), conchas (often the most typical Mexican pastry that is basically a cookie baked on top of a bread roll that are colorful and sweet), cuernos (imagine the shape of a croissant with colorful sugar topping it) and a cream puff covered in powdered sugar. Everything we ordered was delicious! The cream puff and coconut macaroons were eaten upon exiting the bakery mainly so the cream / dairy fillings wouldn’t melt in the San Antonio heat (and because they looked and smelled so good). The cookies lasted a few days in an airtight container and were just a delicious and crunchy as the ones we ate the day we bought them. Whether near the start of your visit to the historic San Antonio missions or near the end, pay Fiesta Bakery a visit.“
“I’ve tried their chicken salad sandwich, cinnamon roll, flourless chocolate cupcake and lemon pistachio cake bar. Having a sweet tooth, the baked goods in particular stood out— all very tasty, and not overly sweet! I enjoyed the homey, charming ambience; the cashier was also very warm and friendly. I love that this is a family-owned business! I’ll return to try their breakfast foods. ?“
“Akki's is a class all on its own. Extremely moist and fresh and beautiful to boot! You can taste the freshness in every bite. Absolutely delicious and we will certainly return for more. Highly recommend Akki's!Dietary restrictions: This place offers Keto and Gluten-Free options.“
“Stopped in today to pick up some sweet bread and was impressed. Picked up a few pieces and each of them were fresh, soft, and tasty. I will say after not having been there in years I expected more of a variety than was actually available. There was however a fairly large variety of cookies that all looked really delicious. The only negative we experienced was the visible annoyance of the staff as we took a little time between selecting each piece while deciding what we wanted. I guess they expect everyone who goes in to already know what they want. That aside the prices aren't bad and the pan dulce is worth the visit. Parking shouldn't be an issue.“
“Trust me when I say this, I know bread. I eat bread like a medieval peasant during the middle ages. No one loves bread more than me. But right here are some of the best sourdoughs I have had. Amazing taste, just sour enough to make your taste buds feel like they are dancing on a cloud. My favorite part is you can feel how fresh the ingredients are in this bread. Don't ever get your bread from anywhere else but here. It's so good.“
“Guys, I never knew about this place. Lopez and I went there and paid under 7 bucks for 3 loaves of bread (raisin ?, wheat, and white)-full loaves; three pastries each (6 total), and maybe some cookies for Ms Penni. I don't remember. NICE ?. Friendly customers and staff which was very helpful and appreciative bringing my first experience there, had me making plans to coming back for more. When you need to stretch that dollar, feed you, your family, your family's family, friends or even taking care of the homeless community, this place is that blessing that can take you there, Giving Him, The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob sll the Honor and Glory! AMEN!“
“La mejor oreja en San Antonio! We love coming to Bedoys for pan dulce. Our kiddos usually get whichever season cookie they have at the time and my husband and I get concha's, orejas, and donuts. This is a weekend spot for us and has become a place my kiddos ask to visit all of the time.“
“We recently got a cake from here for my sister’s bridal shower. It was absolutely delicious and sooo cute/perfectly decorated. The cake was so moist and the pastry creme filling was perfect. But their customer service took it to a whole other level! My sister had originally ordered a cake from another bakery, who canceled on her the day before the shower… she called Rooster Crow and they were so kind and able to do it with only one day’s notice! We were all so impressed. Now we need to go back to try all their other baked goods!“
“The sweet bread here is amazing. I highly recommend the glazed donuts and Apple fritters. They sell out fast. My wife loves the sugar horns too. We get so much for just 5 bucks. I highly recommend, BRING CASH there’s a 5 dollar limit for cards.“
“We recently learned about this coffee shop and love how it's on our route to/from home. All is fantastic; service, coffee, baked goods, and atmosphere. We enjoy each stop.Their beverages are unique in the type of ingredients used, different, and more natural. This makes the drinks taste amazing! Our favorite drinks are the iced matcha latte w/almond milk, vanilla cinnamon latte, and Kentucky smoke latte. They also offer baked goods and are a must-have! The cinnamon role looks like a, "nah." However, it is the best cinnamon role I've had. It's like a hybrid, croissant and role in one. The almond croissant is great too!Our next stop will include trying the tacos!“
“If this bakery could receive 6 stars I would give it that an more , this is one of my favorite places to come an by my donuts, an they also have other food there as well, the people who work there are very kind , an always smiling, never anything bad here, an the food is fantastic, boy their donuts are the best.“
“I ordered my take-out lunch ("Atmosphere" is rated 5 because of previous visits) using the Hearthstone app. I misunderstood the process for personal options related to my menu choices and a member of the staff was kind enough to call and correct my many errors. The food was its usual high quality, fresh and very tasty. This place is on my "favorites" list.Parking: Parked for curbside pickup. Easy and quick.“
“It's totally worth the wait! Not a big bakery type, dude, but the selection and quality of the bakery was awesome. And I will never complain about mimosas, so it was a win-win for everyone involved. Great atmosphere and the food was increidble!“
