“This is one of my favorite places to eat. It is hard to find healthy, quality vegan food. Everything on the menu is so delicious and made from scratch. You can’t beat the pricing anywhere for the quality you get. Even my non vegan friends love the food. They are also always so friendly and hospitable too. Highly recommend this place!“
“Really tasty vegan food. Kids had the soy free pancake stack and we enjoyed the carne asada fries and cauliflower wings. Really delicious! Can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu :)Dietary restrictions: Vegan and allergy friendly (though not many soy free items)“
“Wow! Where did this hidden gem pop up from? We showed up on a day where they were short staffed. The guy that took our order handled it like a boss! We heard him encouraging his cook ?. My husband and I love to see and hear that kind of teamwork! We will absolutely be back!Vegetarian options: Yuh-meeeeee“
“Wow!!! Just... Wow!!!!!!!!!This place specializes in plant based vegan tacos and they are incredible! I got the queso berria and wow!!!!!I typically do not eat vegan cheese/meat as I don't like processed food but wow wow wow. These tacos absolutely blew my mind. So delicious and the texture of the jackfruit was spot on, with crispy charred edges. The vegan cheese tasted incredible (no coconut flavor, at all, like many other vegan cheeses).Even if you are not vegan, you will be blown away. And all of the agua fresca flavors are on point. Not too sweet! Can't wait to eat here again.Vegetarian options: All veggie/vegan menu!“
“Oh my goodness! Words can’t describe how amazingly delicious this spot is! Tried out the breakfast section today (French toast, mini bagel sliders, tempted scramble) LOVED IT ALL! Thank you for always making our food experience an awesome one! Customer service is super friendly and she always has a smile in her face! Super sweet lady!✨“
“Today I ordered the Lemongrass Noodles with chicken. It was absolutely delicious. My first time eating here and I will definitely be back. The owner Paula is so personable and welcoming. If you want tgreat Thai food then this is your place to go!!! Oh and the Thai Tea is oh so good as well!!“
“We stopped in here for dinner while visiting family and really enjoyed their take on vegan fast food. We had a beyond meat patty melt, which was tasty but we enjoyed the buffalo chik'n sandwich the most! (We subbed the beyond chik'n tenders). There wasn't much decor but it did give a diner vibe.Would definitely recommend for a quick bite.“
“Visiting MissChickpea’s Cafetal in San Antonio for the first time was an eye-opening experience for me. As someone who had never tried vegan food before, I was skeptical about how satisfying it could be. However, this visit completely changed my perspective, and I was genuinely mind-blown by how delicious everything was.I started with the ham and cheese croissant, which featured grilled vegan ham, lettuce, and a black pepper veganaise. The flavor and texture of the vegan ham were so convincing that I had to remind myself it wasn’t real ham. In fact, I’d go as far as to say it tasted better than real ham, which is something I never thought I’d say.Next up was the El Cubano, a masterpiece made with People’s vegan ham and shredded eggplant “Barbacoa.” The smokiness and richness of the dish had me questioning how it was possible to achieve such authentic meaty flavors without any meat. It was a delightful surprise that had me savoring every bite.To top it all off, I enjoyed a vanilla matcha latte, which was as smooth and flavorful as one could hope for. The balance of vanilla and matcha was perfect, making for a refreshing end to an outstanding meal.I’m awarding MissChickpea’s Cafetal a well-deserved 5 stars for not only exceeding my expectations but also for making me seriously consider adopting a vegan lifestyle. The culinary creativity and ability to mimic traditional meat flavors using plant-based ingredients are nothing short of impressive. If you’re curious about vegan cuisine or are already a fan, I highly recommend a visit. You won’t be disappointed.“
“This was my first time trying a vegan restaurant, and it did not disappoint. It is extremely reassuring that everything here is gluten-free. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere is super cute. We ordered the jackfruit flautas, cauliflower tacos, and the kale Caesar salad. Everything was fresh and flavorful! Highly recommend.“
“Absolutely love this cute little bakery!!!!This is the kind of vegan food that I love, completely indistinguishable from non vegan. Like you truly can't tell it's vegan, the texture of the pastry is so spot on!!!! Soft and crispy, so yummy!!!“
“9.5/10 on the burgers and service was great.Buffalo fries 7.8 outta 10 a little soft and soggy which some ppl like, but had just a little too much sauce, was all buffalo no fryGreat friendly customer service from the lady who took our order! Will visit again when in town“
“Omg. So good. I eat meat and everything in between, and I loved it here. The person at the counter was super nice. We all got the same and the consensus was. WOW. I want more. Got the plain roll and cookie dough. Nothing plain about the taste. A must if you like that.“
“Wonderful! Visiting from Southern California for the eclipse, we needed to find a good vegetarian restaurant. We found it at the Green Vegetarian. They had a variety of menu items, making it a tough choice, Having said that, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the options. The weather was perfect, so we chose to eat outside. We were immediately seated, and greeted by our server, Brian. Brian did a great job. Very pleasant and attentive. We started with the appetizer sampler. If you can't decide on which appetizer to order, this is the appetizer to get. Fried pickles, onion rings, asparagus, kale, and incredible buffalo cauliflower wings. My wife enjoyed the mushroom stroganoff. Huge portion, but light and tasty. She wanted to finish, but no way. I ordered the chicken fried steak. It was served with a tasty gravy. I added the optional onions and mushrooms on top. The dish normally comes with mashed potatoes and gravy, but I substituted fries. Green Vegetarian is definitely the right choice, you MUST dine there when in San Antonio. If you live here, I'm sure you eat there frequently.“
“Super friendly staff. The Biscoff cookie cinnastack was amazing! Their sign is small and a little nondescript, so you need to look pretty hard for it. Once inside, though, bring your inner child to experience the joy of getting that wonderful treat your mom would have never let you have!“
“Literally farm to table! Soooooo fresh, green, and flavorful. It was a gorgeous day, so my friend and I sat outside on their beautifully decorated patio. Lots of umbrellas for shade and pretty succulent arrangements throughout. Server was friendly and attentive. My friend ordered the salmon collard taco wraps with beans $20, and I ordered off the brunch menu- sweet potato hash with an added fried egg $15. Food came out quick, beautiful presentation. My hash was yummy- diced sweet potatoes, finely chopped fresh beets and kale, and topped with two sauces. I took my sunny side up egg, placed it on top of my hash and let the yolk ooze over the hash - sooo good. The salmon collard wraps were simply colorful art. Loads of fresh greens- guacamole, and collards used to replicate as a taco shell and roll up the salmon. Appetites were satisfied and we didn't feel overly full. I would definitely come back again!“
“We came here for a three day juice cleanse. The juices are fresh and the staff is nice. The day I came, my order wasn’t ready, but they made it quickly no problem. The price for a cleanse is less than Revolution and the staff is much more helpful. I “
“OMG absolutely love this place.... Spices, flavors, delicious mmm mmm pure goodness. If you love to try something different this place is absolutely a Must Do. Its good clean flavorful food that's cooked, prepared and presented very well. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always helpful and never mind explaining what the dish ingredients are (so be sure to ask).Ive been to both locations (Stone Oak & 151) and they both are very consistent with everything. This was a very good experience!“
“It was a quick experience of a very tasty quinoa burger on a tiny small branch! I loved it anyways! I need to go back to try the first option of burger meal! I'll be back for sure!! The service was great! Thanks for the experience!Vegetarian options: All the menu!Parking: It is in a huge parking of a mall.“
“So thankful to find a vegetarian fast food place! The Ranchero burger is to die for and the fries are crisp and perfectly seasoned. The staff was kind enough to give a little cup of coconut ice cream to our dog (which we tried some of and it was DELICIOUS). Even the drinks were top tier. The Peach on Earth tea is very flavorful! I love everything about this place. I wish I had one where I live!“
“I enjoy these acia bowls, and green juices so so much!! They moved their shop around recently so I think it's easier for people to navigate which door to enter from (use the front door off Cevallos st. right where the huge colorful deco mural is). And they recently began selling fresh lions mane and oyster mushrooms in the fridge which is a double win for me!“
“I went for brunch for my sister's birthday. We tried the peach compote and the berry waffles, the pozole, and the Mac n cheese.Everything was stunningly good. Their Mac n cheese is probably one of the best that I've had- vegan or not. The pozole's flavor was spot on and the jack fruit is a great addition. The NA cocktails were more on the savory side but beautifully made. They weren't to my taste but they are certainly worth trying if you prefer more earthy, savory notes. I can't wait to go back and try a flavored tea or lemonade. All in all, a new staple go-to. It's small, cozy, and delicious. Take a friend or two and enjoy!Parking: Parking is in the lot to the left of the white building next door to Hash.“
