“This place was BEYOND my expectations. I live in Austin but was in town for the day and craving some yummy Mexican food. Me and my friend ordered the picadillo nachos, al pastor tacos and the chicken flautas and I can’t even pick which one was my favorite. The portions are generous and you end up feeling like you’re floating on air after your meal. Just heavenly. The salsas are also superb. I really can’t rave about this enough. As a Latina, this is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve had and I’m so glad it’s plant-based and full of insane flavors. Also, the service is spectacular and everyone is so kind!“
“Wow! Where did this hidden gem pop up from? We showed up on a day where they were short staffed. The guy that took our order handled it like a boss! We heard him encouraging his cook ?. My husband and I love to see and hear that kind of teamwork! We will absolutely be back!Vegetarian options: Yuh-meeeeee“
“First time here and recommend it!Food was so delicious and flavorful. We had Carne asada fries and Flight of pancakes and Purple rain smoothie.Ambiance was welcoming and tranquil. Area was very clean and taken care of.Waitress was kind and knowledgeable of the menu.“
“I like supporting vegetarian/vegan restaurants, as they are more environmentally sustainable. The tacos are not bad. If you're in the area and are up for tacos, why not choose a more sustainable option? The corn tortillas are made in-house, so they are thicker and have a more interesting texture than grocery store corn tortillas.I also tried something new, "birria quesatacos." It was just VERY greasy and salty though - do not recommend that particular dish. The cup of corn (elote en vaso) was oddly chewy, instead of the pleasant crispness of fresh, lightly cooked corn. I wasn't a fan.The torta was a lot of bread - a lot more than I needed. I also wasn't a fan of the portabella filling. If I ordered it again, I would choose a different protein - but I doubt I'd get the torta again.Basically, not a bad vegan restaurant, but I'd stick with the breakfast tacos and nothing else.I also wish they tried to be a little more sustainable. Only the plates were reused - everything else was disposable.“
“The ambience is very nice, staff seem very friendly. I got a patty melt, fries, and a dipping sauce total was a bit shy of 20$. Everything is sold a la carte so it can get pricy but I'd say still worth it. I did to-go and had about a 20 min drive home, food was still a bit warm no need to reheat and was still very flavorful. My dog loved it also lol. I will definitely be coming back with friends and sit down. I'd give them a 9/10 4 out of 5 seemed to low imo.Vegetarian options: All vegan even the bacon, not 100$ on shakes thou. You'd have to ask.Parking: It's shopping center I went around 11am and tons of regular and handicap parking.“
“Oh my goodness! Words can’t describe how amazingly delicious this spot is! Tried out the breakfast section today (French toast, mini bagel sliders, tempted scramble) LOVED IT ALL! Thank you for always making our food experience an awesome one! Customer service is super friendly and she always has a smile in her face! Super sweet lady!✨“
“Today I ordered the Lemongrass Noodles with chicken. It was absolutely delicious. My first time eating here and I will definitely be back. The owner Paula is so personable and welcoming. If you want tgreat Thai food then this is your place to go!!! Oh and the Thai Tea is oh so good as well!!“
“Food presentation was nice. The food was decent. Customer service was okay. Atmosphere is nice and cozy. A little over priced but a good place to eat if you’re a vegan/vegetarianDietary restrictions: A lot of vegan and vegetarian options.“
“Clean, roomy restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating options. Large menu, with most items capable of being made vegan. Huge portion sizes, so prices felt very fair for the amount of food you get. Service was very friendly and helpful.Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegetarian, and most dishes can be made vegan or are already vegan. Everything is clearly labeled.“
“Visiting MissChickpea’s Cafetal in San Antonio for the first time was an eye-opening experience for me. As someone who had never tried vegan food before, I was skeptical about how satisfying it could be. However, this visit completely changed my perspective, and I was genuinely mind-blown by how delicious everything was.I started with the ham and cheese croissant, which featured grilled vegan ham, lettuce, and a black pepper veganaise. The flavor and texture of the vegan ham were so convincing that I had to remind myself it wasn’t real ham. In fact, I’d go as far as to say it tasted better than real ham, which is something I never thought I’d say.Next up was the El Cubano, a masterpiece made with People’s vegan ham and shredded eggplant “Barbacoa.” The smokiness and richness of the dish had me questioning how it was possible to achieve such authentic meaty flavors without any meat. It was a delightful surprise that had me savoring every bite.To top it all off, I enjoyed a vanilla matcha latte, which was as smooth and flavorful as one could hope for. The balance of vanilla and matcha was perfect, making for a refreshing end to an outstanding meal.I’m awarding MissChickpea’s Cafetal a well-deserved 5 stars for not only exceeding my expectations but also for making me seriously consider adopting a vegan lifestyle. The culinary creativity and ability to mimic traditional meat flavors using plant-based ingredients are nothing short of impressive. If you’re curious about vegan cuisine or are already a fan, I highly recommend a visit. You won’t be disappointed.“
“I wanted a vegan doughnut and found this spot. The pastries are really good: everything is vegan and organic. They also have some gluten-free choices. I deducted one star because of the prices; the taste is 5 stars, the service was good. I didn't realize they have vegan food as well; I'll have to try something next time.“
“9.5/10 on the burgers and service was great.Buffalo fries 7.8 outta 10 a little soft and soggy which some ppl like, but had just a little too much sauce, was all buffalo no fryGreat friendly customer service from the lady who took our order! Will visit again when in town“
“This was amazing! I never write reviews, but this was absolutely delicious. I came in here with my family and ordered a customized cinnamon dessert whole centered around caramel, with a hint of gramcracker and pb candies. When I took a bite my eyes literally watered. This was that amazing, I couldn't finish it in one go due to my lack of sweet tolerance in the first place, but I got halfway, and that's a change. I would love to visit this place again. They will be seeing more of me ?“
“Whenever we are in town this is our go to Indian restaurant . We love the flavors and the choices. Absolutely love the sauce with the samosas. This time I had the coconut curry and it was very good. The mango lemonade is also a favorite. The staff is always upbeat and friendly.“
“Update: Staff ignored me and made me wait 20 minutes for a small order. I will be taking my business to the nacagdoches location.Orginal review: This restaurant is 100% vegan. Period. No animal products, no mayo, no worries. The food always comes quickly and drive thru is key. The desserts are all vegan coconut based. The vegan cheese here is follow your heart. The #1 Earth Burger is the most popular item and is the best vegan burger. This is beyond meat patties. I take meat eater friends here and they say it tastes just like a regular burger. The chikn is one of the better vegan chickens I have had as well. Best vegan shakes including Oreo. Desserts are bomb.“
“We came here for a three day juice cleanse. The juices are fresh and the staff is nice. The day I came, my order wasn’t ready, but they made it quickly no problem. The price for a cleanse is less than Revolution and the staff is much more helpful. I “
“We got our order to go. Then back around for dessert! The burgers, kale salad, fries, lemonade and coconut ice cream were delicious! We will definitely be back the next time we're in town.Vegetarian options: As far as I could tell, everything was plant based.Kid-friendliness: The corn dog combo was very good. I recommend that they add a hot dog combo to the "kid meals" menu.“
“Actual score 4.5. Similar to others, it’s quite hard to know when they’re open but I finally saw the open sign lit up and decided to try. The person working said they’re open from 10-3 most days so we’ll see if I get to go a second time. I tried a smoothie which was pretty good and I’d like to try some other things if I get a chance.“
“I haven't been here in over six years since moving out of the area and I was so impressed! Me and my husband used to get delivery from here often and I'd make modifications for my food to be vegan which they always seemed happy to do. But recently I visited with my friends and we had dinner here and I was shocked to discover they now have an entire vegan menu!!?? Amazing! This food was so so good! They had these vegan cream cheese rolls and a 100% vegan pad Thai that was so tasty! I wish I still lived in the area so I could get delivery and enjoy their food but for now I'll just have to make the trip back when I can.“
