My girlfriend and I were in San Antonio from out of town and as we were leaving town craved some sandwiches. We found Gino's and it was highly rated so we came to check it out. Italian sandwich is delicious and because we were first timers he said drinks and chips on the house but he had already charged us without knowing so gave us two free sweet breads that were delicious ? everyone was super nice and the food was great highly recommend! ?
I've had the sandwiches before and they're all great, but recently had a catering order and staff was very helpful, provided everything needed, and the food tasted great, even the hot sandwiches tasted amazing well after the delivery time. Extremely easy to work with - they gave plenty of toppings on the side, condiments. I highly recommend the box lunches. You can't beat the price either. Most places charge more for food not nearly as flavorful. The quality here is A1.

Kind of it's own unique experience. Not what I would call an authentic Philly, but something not easily recreatable around here. I recommend eating there as the to go versions lose a bit of their "freshness" quite quickly.
