“I had the most wonderful dinning experience last night. Everything from the atmosphere, the outdoors , service and of course the food was beyond delicious. Definitely my new favorite place WOW!”
“The waitress Diana was friendly and very attentive. She brought out my food just like I ordered and made sure it was complete. I also enjoyed watching the big tv’s while I eat. Truly amazing.”
“Absolutely exceptional food and service! Great spot for a nicer date night than our usual spots. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back!”
“Amazing experience! The most delicious food, top notch service, inviting and beautiful atmosphere. If you're in the San Antonio area, I highly recommend checking this place out. 10 stars!!!”

“I was lucky to be seated in Melanie’s section at Twin Peaks on Zabala Street. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Excellent service — she did an amazing job!”
“We had a wonderful time at J. prime last night for our anniversary. It was our first time visiting and we were so impressed. We called to inquire about getting a table at 9:30 at night after our previous dinner plans fell through due to a canceled reservation. J. Prime had our table ready at 9:45 when we walked in the door, complete with red roses and a handwritten Happy Anniversary card! Above & beyond, from the beginning. Our server, Laura T. was immediately so accommodating, friendly, and completely knowledgeable about the menu. She asked about our food allergies (we can’t have dairy) and made sure everything was tailored to meet our needs the whole night. The food was lovely and delicious - lobster tail bites, truffle fries, beet salad, Caesar salad, grilled broccolini & filet mignon. The flavors & sauces were great. For dessert we were brought a beautiful fresh sorbet with a sparkler to celebrate 💜 Laura made our night! Her attention to detail and quality of service was truly top notch, and my girlfriend is a chef so she has high expectations. We were so pleased & enjoyed our experience thoroughly. We will be back!”

“My wife and I were looking forward to the opening. We finally got to go on a date night. It was packed but the atmosphere was great. The waiter was amazing and the food was fantastic. We had the Caprese Salad, Bruciatini and the Mussels In White Wine. And for dessert we had Panna Cotta. Can't wait to go again.”
“Best Thai food in Town love this place highly recommend”
“My favorite frozen snow cones”
“The “el gato” was sooo good, and the owner is friendly. We got to see kitties while we were there :) Cute little set up in a nice spot. Love the vibes. Palm Buddha was closed by the time we got to Tuxedo Cat’s, but we plan on coming back soon!”
“The food was amazing! We had the street tacos and the chefs special red snapper tacos! Drinks were amazing! Cucumber margarita and spicy guava margarita were soooo good! Edgar was a great waiter also! We will definitely be back!”

“Ate at Twin Peaks today at SW Twin Peaks .. Elexis served me and never missed a step with drinks or asking about the food .. Her friendly smile and happy personality made me have a great day .. I will be back . By far the best in San Antonio .. She is 6 star service. Thank you and I will tell my friends to eat there... The best.”
“I'd give this spot 10 stars for food, service and ambiance. Nick helped us out for the evening and was so knowledgeable about literally everything on the menu. He led us in all the right directions and we had a perfect experience. Highly recommended. Highly.”

“What an amazing find! Dallah’s food was perfection. We enjoyed the hummus appetizer, and the combination plates of gyro, and chicken shawarma with rice. Hakim was our server and he was so attentive and friendly. We also had the pleasure of meeting Sam who ensured our meal and experience was perfection. 10/10 will be back and would recommend.”
“We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.”
“Google isn't allowing me to upload photos, but I'll check back in to try again.
I debated whether or not to post this review because I absolutely want to gatekeep Yozora. However, I also want Chef Emanuel and his team to succeed, so whatever. Just as long as you leave me a table, I’ll let you in on the secret.
The interior is mid-century modern with a chill vibe. The clean lines and no-frills interior didn’t feel sparse but instead gave me Mad Men vibes. The vinyl set up to the left of our table screamed 70s basement party in all the right ways. The music was kept at an acceptable level—not too loud that it kept us from hearing our conversation but loud enough to tempt me into shaking my hips when a slammin’ Bossa Nova came on.
**Be advised: we ordered damn near everything on the menu, and our bill reflected as much. Don’t think too hard; just donate some plasma next month.**
It’s not hard to go a little menu crazy with the izakaya-inspired menu.
Lucky Chicken is a red ale IPA from Kyoto, Japan. I had the yuzu sake high ball, which was crisp and refreshing.
The Asian pear cucumber salad was addicting. The floral pear and the mildly sweet cucumber cleansed the palate in anticipation of the meal. The Shiro Wrap (which I assume is named for Yozora’s predecessor) is a spicy avocado and panko-fried soft-shell crab filling surrounded by a soy wrap, masago, and chives. It’s one of those dishes you think of occasionally and wonder if it misses you as much as you miss it.
The Charcoal Grilled Chasu had a unique combination of fatty braised pork belly scented with charcoal that highlighted the salty creaminess of Reggiano cheese. The scallion kimchi that accompanied it mixed spicy with the herbaceous punch of the scallion tops.
The Garlic Edamame is like a toxic relationship: it hurts you but is so addictive and lovely that you can’t help but keep coming back to it. I spent the rest of the meal slurping soybeans from their pods while I conquered the rest of our meal. These have moderate spiciness, so if you’re sensitive to heat, I would skip them.
Hot Line Crispy Gyoza is a fried pork dumpling tossed in 911 sauce (it was more urgent care to us) and topped with parm-Reggiano cheese. These weren’t our favorite, but we’d demolish them after a night of drinking.
We moved on to the Yakitori section of the menu and enjoyed the Negima (chicken thigh and Japanese leek) and Waygu. Both were grilled exceptionally and remained juicy and tender.
We chugged on over to the “Crudo and Battera” section and ordered the Toro Tartare (I wished the lotus chip was thicker to accommodate the weight of the rich tartare), the Pepper Fin (I could drink the citrus soy/chili oil situation), and the Crispy Toro (we loved the juxtaposition of the creamy, fatty toro and the hidden crispy rice).
You might think we were ready to tap out by now… and we were, but we had ordered the Waygu Teriyaki, and we’re no quitters. The Wagyu was cooked perfectly, a gorgeous medium-rare, and the soy beurre blanc sat in was nothing short of seductive.
Our final push was the Yuzu Japanese Citrus Pie. I don’t know if they have an in-house pastry chef, but whoever created this dessert knows what the hell they’re doing. The yuzu offered the right amount of pucker factor, and the crisp, buttery crust added just enough sweetness to balance it.
Our server (I want to say his name was Ray or Roy) was exceptional in his attentiveness, engagement, and hospitality.
I wholeheartedly recommend Yozora as I think it should be on everyone’s list of must-eat places in the San Antonio area.”
“(05/30/25) Eight of us met for dinner at the Pazzo Pastaria and were immediately greeted and seated by the very pleasant co-owner, Ginny. The ambiance is simple, cozy and (thank you), not noisy. The wait staff is excellent (shout out to Katie!); the menu is well organized and offers several out-of-the-ordinary Italian dishes. Don't fill up on the tasty breads and olive oil dip, because the food is delicious and the portions are generous. For a weekend meal, consider making reservations because the restaurant fills quickly. We were pleased with our dinner selections and no one left hungry! The overall experience was so good, we agreed the Pazzo Pastaria would be our new favorite restaurant. PS. If you are intrigued, check out its online page, which displays location, hours, menu items and customer reviews.”
“I have tried almost every Sushi spot in San Antonio and Shiro stands above and beyond everyplace I have been to. Every single piece of Sushi was super fresh and just melts in your mouth, it is honestly going to be hard to go anywhere else after having been to Shiro. The prices definitely reflect the quality and freshness difference compared to other places and is 110% worth it.”
“I took my 3 daughters there and we each brought our fur baby. We sat on the patio and received the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. The food was amazing and drinks were 🔥 . The staff at Hemisfair though were the absolute best!!! What an absolute Gem in San Antonio!!! Everything was absolutely AMAZING!!!! This will definitely be the first of many times we will visit.”
“First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.”
“Fantastic! I had the Karrage chopped salad for lunch and it was delicious. Tastiest chicken I have ever had. Service was great. Intimate atmosphere, good cocktail assortment. Creative menu and different from the usual tourist fare.”

“I came to this Denny’s last week because it was close to a dr appt I’d just left. It was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. My server was Scott, so kind and efficient, never rushed me. I told him his voice alone put me at ease because he spoke so calmly (after a stressing dr appt). Food was excellent! Cleanest Dennys I’ve seen. Thank you, Scott! I will be back!”
“Decided to try a new Denny's location and went to this one....I was actually super surprised. Compared to all the negative reviews me and my family loved our overall experience there. We walked in and were immediately welcomed by our server Jenny who led us to one side of the restaurant and allowed us to pick where to sit. Our drink orders were taken and even suggested chocolate milk for the kids which made them super happy. After taking our food orders we waited for our food which was the only downside because it did take quite a while but our server assured us she was trying to get it out as quickly as possible. The entire time we waited for our food she kept checking in with us making sure our glasses stayed full and interacting with our kids keeping smiling faces all around the table. I'm super happy we decided to dine at this Denny's. It was definitely an experience the entire family enjoyed.”
“Breakfast tacos. No. Not at the UTSA location. Hopefully it's not like this at every. The tortillas were thin and hard. They used two to wrap them. Instead of using two, maybe make the tortillas a little thicker and bigger? The amount of filling was great. Nice and fat. I'm not a fan of the smokey red chile's added to the carne guisada. It was sloppy and not too tasty. I ate half and stopped eating. Plus they added cheese when i didn't ask for it. The eggs in my papa con huevo looked dull and almost gray. I'll just stick to the central and southside locations. I was satisfied with the 410/ Broadway location. I'm good. You got your $12. And i got my appetite in tact. Thanks.”
“Muy buen servicio del joven Carlos Landa, nos encantó el lugar todo delicioso, desayunos, súper ensalada, el pan riquísimo, lo recomiendo al 1000. El pan todo sabor a México, Nuevamente se de la oportunidad con gusto regresamos!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had a fantastic experience here! Upon arriving, I was greeted warmly by Arrianna, who was incredibly professional and helpful. Her excellent knowledge of the menu made ordering a breeze, and she offered great suggestions. Despite a busy line, service was quick and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the Working Man Combo, which was well worth the price. I’ll definitely be back for more!”
“First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! Thank You For Everything !!”
“My server Chris was amazing. I wanted to try something different. I tried the Chicken Alfredo and it was delicious. I wanted too try the spicy Chicken Alfredo but wasn't sure how spicy it was. Chris stated can place the spices on the side and I can add them.. andddd Eddie the Manger came by, introduced himself, and asked how was my food. 5 STARS 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“We had a wonderful experience at this Pei Wei location. We had a hiccup at the register and the cashier was patient while trying the fix the issue. He called over the manager, Farid, who resolved the issue and even gave us a free app, for being so understanding.
The food was great, and as always Pei Wei does not disappoint. 😊”
“The atmosphere exuded a calming vibe, complementing the restaurant's commitment to well-being. The menu boasts a delightful array of nutritious options, each dish bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. I particularly enjoyed the Bang Bang Shrimp wrap! If you're seeking a culinary journey that nourishes your body it is a must-visit destination.”

“We tried the mushroom fondue and the bruschetta (selecting 4 different ones)
Everything was exquisite. We’ll be definitely coming back and recommending.”

“Such a great atmosphere. You can tell these guys love what they’re doing. They will make you feel welcome when you walk through the door. If there were more places like this around town San Antonio would be a happier place lol. Just a family making yummy snacks and enjoying their day while doing it. The trifecta agua Fresca is 10/10. Love their fresh fruit cups, the Rusas are nostalgic but a twist (Italian shaved ice on top so yummy), and mangonadas are delicious!”
“This restaurant is authentic, delicious, and budget friendly. Their meat is true Halal, drinks are served by the can/not fountain. A great spot to pick up lunch for yourself and or colleagues. Would reccomed to locals and families. The restaurant is a bit small with two 4top tables. However this is a much healthier and tastier option from its surrounding competitors.”
“The food is absolutely delicious!!! It came out extremely fast and very very good. The breakfast was equally amazing I got a waffle that literally was the shape of Texas it was amazing and tasted fantastic!”

“I don’t understand how it’s possible to leave less than 5 stars. From the hostess through dessert, every piece of the evening was VIP. Our waiter Danny was energetic and knowledgeable. The steak was the best I have ever had and it’s not close. The lobster cream corn was something we’ve never even thought of and it was out of this worId. I dropped in passing to Danny that it was the best steak I’ve ever had, shortly after the executive chef came out and talked to us and thanked us for visiting. I will scream from the mountain tops that if you’re in SA, you come to Bohanan’s!!”
“This place was amazing! I have been to my fair share of locations on the East and West Coast. But this location was amazing for it's food, service, and ambiance! Our server Dallas should be recommended by name! He was kind, attentive, and fast! This restaurant has superb management as well. The team constantly ensured we were satisfied! This location is a must visit”
“This bakery was recommended to me by a coworker that had used them at her wedding. The tasting was so cute, they give you the flavors on a little paint palette. The cake was both beautiful and delicious. We had guests telling us how good the cake was on our Facebook posts. They will be our go to bakery from now on.”
“Our group went for lunch and had a delicious meal. I ordered the Sicilian Ahi tuna salad which was awesome and had a cocktail, Peachy Keen. It was a warm day and the dining room was very comfortable and cool. Our bartender was very competent and we also met and talked with some very friendly patrons at the bar.”
“Such delicious cake!! We had a taste testing, and we loved everything we tasted. We decided on champagne, chocolate, and lemon blueberry for our tiered cake and white for sheet cakes! The frosting and filling wasn’t too sweet and we thought was absolutely perfect! Our cake looked and tasted beautiful!! We took our own fresh flowers and they confirmed if it was enough florals and assured us that they would use what looked beautiful and they did not disappoint. We’re still eating our cake and it’s still delicious!”
“Thank you Stephanie for being the best at what you do. The food and drink were fantastic. Our outside table, the service, the river view were over the top! Jim n Susan!”
“Came to try it for the first time for my son's birthday, he loved it , service is exelent! Super friendly staff , will definitely come back!”

“ELISE CUISINE is the manifestation of owner Rocio’s ten-year dream, and her dedication and commitment to her dream is evident down to the smallest details. The dining space is simple, but quite lovely, and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Service was excellent and perfectly balanced in attentiveness. With hours of 7 AM to 4 PM, this is a breakfast and lunch place, with a varied and adventurous menu that caters to meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and diners in need of gluten-free alternatives. On my first visit, I had the excellent spicy fried chicken sandwich, with sides of home fries and a wonderful arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, quinoa, and a balsamic vinaigrette perfectly blended between sweet and acidic. I look forward to returning again and sampling the extensive breakfast menu. Plenty of beverages are available, and there is a stately espresso machine that speaks to a restaurant that means business when it comes to coffee. This area of Potranco has been in dire need of a sit-down coffee house alternative to Starbucks, and ELISE CUISINE is it. I’ll admit that I was initially a bit cowed by the menu prices, but the portions are very generous; I left with half my meal unfinished, so I was really getting two meals for the price of one, and in truth, virtually all the dine-in, non-fast food alternatives in the area are similarly priced, with nowhere near the ambience and elegance. I plan to be a regular at ELISE CUISINE from here on out.”
“I tried Smith’s BBQ for the first time today and it’s a bit of a mixed review. I had the four meat sampler (brisket, ribs, sausage and chicken) with green beans and baked beans. The ribs were good but not memorable and the brisket was a bit chewy BUT, the sausage and chicken were EXCELLENT. The baked beans were simple but perfect. They reminded me of a family picnic. In my opinion, the green beans were OUTSTANDING and the star of the show. Very unique flavor that hit the taste buds like WOW! I’ll definitely go back for double chicken with green beans and baked beans!”
“saw a kid with his iPad out watching Morbius and playing subway surfers, food was fine except for the hair in it. Food good just shocked on that kids multitasking”
“Went for the first time to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and everything was amazing! Service was on point food was delicious Would definitely go back again!”
“It was a fantastic experience. Everything the staff touched was wonderful. The food was excellent. I had the off menu surf and turf. Yummy. I highly recommend it. Make a reservation, the place was packed.”
“Great food, super friendly staff, really good bourbon selection and several delicious gluten-free options for my wife. This place has been in San Antonio since the 70's. Ryan was a great waiter.”

“Las. Vegas maggiano en el fashion mall con el mejor chef que resulta que es mexicano su nombre es Jesús de Acapulco Guerrero los platillos con mejor sazón italiana y mexicana . Se los recomiendo con el mejor vino italiano Barolo y sobre todo el Caymus californiano . Ánimo”
“I have been wanting to try this place for some time now after excellent reviews from friends. It exceeded expectations from the well-balanced and delicious cocktails to both cold and hot dishes. For cocktails I tried the Maracuya (welll-balanced, fruit forward but not too sweet) and Club Esmeralda (balanced with fresh herbaceous essence). My husband had the Saltao’ Sour (balanced Mezcal cocktail but not too Smokey with egg white for a nice finish) and Hola Oaxaca (Smokey cocktail balanced with the Orgeat). I recommend trying them all! For food we started with the Nikkei Cebiche which was the highlight of our meal. The fresh Yellow Fin tuna layered with flavors instantly had us ready for a second visit. On to the Piqueos section of the menu where we enjoyed the Yucca Frita, Conchitas a la Parmesana and Anticuchos. Each a warm dish with continued fresh flavors. For our main course we shared the Chaufa (fried rice with pork belly, sausage, egg etc) again layers of flavors and a hearty portion to share. We completed our food journey each with a glass of wine, he a Sauv Blanc from Chile and myself an Albariño. Please come enjoy this lovely gem in Southtown. It’s a unique, one of a kind restaurant in San Antonio. Thank you to the Chef and team for an amazing Sunday lunch experience. We will be back for more.”

“A great experience! This is definitely a well kept San Antonio secret. Food was excellent with generous portions (lamb chops a must try). Service was prompt, courteous, and answered all our menu questions (ask for Sasha). Building and bathrooms clean. A definite do-again!”
“Amazing escargot! Lamb chops fantastic device superb and pear tart was heaven !”
“It will direct you to an apartment complex. You are in fact in the right place, he makes the food himself and brings it down to you! It is authentic food and tastes exquisite!”
“The food, the creativity, and the drinks. All amazing. I experienced flavors that were familiar but completely new. Dishes that were traditional but unconventional. Do the wine and cocktail pairings, you won’t be disappointed!”
“Great experience and even better food! If you’re a fan of BBQ - especially brisket - stop in here!”
“Last night, I went to Carriqui with a party of two. We ordered Tuna Tostadas, Guacamole, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Birria, Flan, Tres Leches, and Margaritas.
Tuna Tostadas – Lights out! Sprinkle some lemon on top, take a bite, and it’s just sooo good. The flavors are perfectly balanced. Easily a must-order.
Birria – As someone who loves heavily seasoned food, I didn’t get a strong flavor kick from it, but the lamb was cooked beautifully. I’m glad I tried it!
Tres Leches – The star of the night. Hands down the best Tres Leches I’ve ever had. I’ve only tasted this dessert in Charlotte, NC before, but this one? Perfect. I devoured the whole thing.
Guacamole – So fresh, great texture.
Flan – Good, but Tres Leches stole the show. (I’m also not a huge caramel fan, so I’m a little biased.)
Chicken Tortilla Soup – This one didn’t do it for me.
Margaritas – I really enjoyed these, they are so refreshing.
Beyond the food, the ambiance was amazing. We sat outside, and everything—the music, weather, lighting—was chef’s kiss.
Would definitely come back, especially for the Tuna Tostadas, Tres Leches, and Margaritas!”

I will scream from the mountain tops that if you’re in SA, you come to Bohanan’s!!”
“Had always eyeballed this place and got tickets as a gift from my son. From the minute, we stepped in there, until the minute we left, I was grinning from ear to ear. It is very special to be around people who genuinely love what they do and that is apparent from the minute Doc Watkins and the band step on the stage.
We were fortunate enough to catch a little bit of Christmas music and a little bit of jazz and it was all wonderful. I will be counting the days until I return.”
“out of town for work and it was recommended by a friend(pitmaster) and it did not disappoint 👏 bravo. pulled pork was amazing. quick and friendly staff... I'll be back”
“I don’t normally leave reviews, but, my God this was phenomenal!!! Ezra and the other bartender were just absolutely lovely, interesting, and funny. Ezra’s recommendations were amazing! Was so full after the escargot and soup that I had to get the duck confit and dessert to go! Legit cannot wait to get home to have it but cannot wait to leave a review saying I have found my new favorite restaurant!!”
“I love coming here with my family for boba and dessert!!! I hadn’t tried the food until recently and it was so good!! The ambiance is nice and really clean inside!”
“Updated one year later to say the enchiladas are still delicious!! Enjoy a Paloma too!!
Holy enchiladas! Order the Suizas enchiladas! I thought about them for about 24 hours afterwards. Our entire experience was fantastic. Lauryn our server was one of the nicest and most patient people ever! The atmosphere is fantastic. And all of the food was delicious!! Wish we lived closer so we could go more often!”
“This is one of our favorite places to go. We were there this past weekend for our anniversary and the food did not disappoint! My wife had the Scaloppini Di Vitello while I had the Eggplant Parmesan. Both of our selections were very delicious! Great atmosphere and the service was great! Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to go for date night and great dining. We will be coming back!”
“My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at Myron's June 18, 2024. Our hostess Monica was wonderful. She was courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our steaks were prepared to perfection. The wine complimented our meal. The atmosphere was very inviting. The food is worth every cent. I hope visit there again the next time we're in San Antonio. S. Sanders”

“I have been to Playa Bowls San Antonio twice since they have opened. I have loved both smoothies that I have had. First the Kowabunga and today the Aloha. Both were delicious! Do yourself a favor and drop by for a smoothie or one of their amazing bowls!”

“Let me start by saying this is the best Chinese restaurant i have been too. CLEAN can't express that enough! Service was great food was very good. The key lime dessert was amazing. All said and done good restaurant.”
“We had the oyster nachos, the special trout piccata, and finished with the awesome bread pudding and key lime pie. We will definitely come back again. This location is convenient and easy to get in and out of on our way home back to Boerne.”
“The server was Leah and she was wonderful. We explained we were there for the charcuterie, wine, coffee and dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed the charcuterie board and the wine (about triple store prices) was perfect! The coffee was a nice blend and accompanied the chocolate bar quite well. We would recommend and return.”
“Today we had an extraordinary experience thank to our server Gregory we mentioned to him that we were excited and celebrating life because our 4 year old went for her yearly MRI scans and came out NED. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. Food was delicious, cutomer service was excellent, I truly love the atmosphere and recommend it 100%”
“We were first timers today! All was great from the welcome, menu recommendations, customer service, ambience. and delish food and choices! Highly recommend!”
“First night in San Antonio. We decided to head to breakaway brewing for dinner. A great meal, great beer, great bartender ( chris ) highly recommend.”
“I went there with a bunch of my college friends and honestly everything was great. Chips and salsa was excellent and the guacamole tasted great. We ordered a few top shelf margaritas pitchers and they were just as strong as he said they would be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my friends were being rude and lying about what they ordered once they saw the price of the bill. Felt kind of bad for our server because our experience couldn’t have been any better.”
“oh my gosh the most amazing excellent best sushi place I have ever gone in my life it's great service the food is delicious I totally recommend anyone visiting San Antonio that this is the best sushi bar there is... unlimited sushi for $20 how else can you go wrong... AMAZING!!!”
“I've been twice and enjoyed both experiences. This last time was for a friend's surprise bday dinner. Everything was perfect and staff was awesome! I'll keep coming back! Recommendations: the duck, Brussel sprouts, charcuterie board, brick chicken, lamb! yum!”
“Last week I was one in a group of twelve who had an amazing experience dining at Ida Claire. All agreed that the food was excellently prepared and tasty. Those of us who ordered bread pudding thought it was wonderful. The service was top notch, thanks to our awesome server King. King was not at all intimidated by the number in our party. He was personable, knowledgeable, attentive, and accurate. We would certainly go there again.”
“Wife and I, 1st timers! One word: Excellent! Food, service is top notch. Escargot, Pulpo and Paella are our, go to dishes. Recommend to all. Give yourself a change from Mexican food and try Spanish. Takes us back to Madrid and Marbella.”
“Food was very good and brought with reasonable time. My family and I visited during graduation weekend, so it was reasonably busy. Trays of drinks were shattered on two separate occasions during our visit which disrupted the atmosphere but overall our server was very attentive.”
“Food is incredible! Ambience is relaxing people are friendly and eager to help make your dining experience fantastic”
“Food is delicious and well prepared. I thoroughly enjoy dining here. The staff and excellent service is a plus.”
“I recently visited sushi hay, and it was an unforgettable experience! The all you can eat sushi and hibachi offer incredible value and an extensive selection. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Each piece is expertly crafted, with a wide variety of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the presentation is beautiful. The hibachi dishes are cooked to perfection, with tender meats and fresh vegetables. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure your dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. Overall, sushi haya offers an amazing dining experience with its all you can eat sushi and hibachi. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a fun time!”
“the food was amazing as was the staff. it was a wonderful dinner and a wonderful evening”
“This is by far the best all you can eat Buffet in San Antonio. My wife and I make it a point to go every time we are in town. You will not be disappointed”
“We had a great time and kids enjoyed it. Recommend if you’re in San Antonio”
“My wife and I spent our 5th year anniversary together and it was so fantastic. Sake, our server, and food, were amazing. Will definitely come back for our 6th year anniversary!”
“Last night my husband and I had an amazing experience at Seasons 52 (Alamo Quarry location). First and foremost, our server, Celi, was amazing! She was very personable, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. She explained the restaurant concept to us and how some items change out seasonally (as they should in an establishment of this caliber). Celi was able to answer questions about individual items on the menu, and her recommendations for us were spot on! Her service was timely, and we felt well cared for. She also engaged us in delightful conversation throughout our meal, which really just put the icing on the cake for our evening.
We started with a wine flight and the artichoke flatbread (incredible), then each had an entree salad, and finished off with dessert. The entree salads have as much protein as any entree on the menu, so we didn't feel hungry or deprived in any way. On the contrary, the salad flavors were robust, and I would venture to say were the best salads I've had at any restaurant. Seasons 52 keeps all of their dishes under 595 calories. While I am not calorie-counting, this made for a deliciously satisfying three-course meal that did not leave us feeling sickly-full afterward. I hate when I go to restaurant and have to ask if my counterparts are willing to split entrees because they are so big and filling! We had just enough room for dessert; and our choices were presented to us on a beautiful carousel. It was hard to pick just one!
The atmosphere was very nice and peaceful. The manager checked in on us during our meal, which speaks to the pride that this location takes in their work. This establishment is perfect for dates, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, showers, etc. I don't know if they rent out rooms to parties, but I wouldn't doubt it.
Overall fantastic restaurant. Treat yourself to a meal here, You won't regret it!”
“Ryan was amazing! Every suggestion worked out and tasted great. It might seem expensive but it's really not when you consider the quality. They don't cut corners. I recommend the Jambalaya with pasta instead of rice. It's fabulous.”
“I will be going back. I went to this restaurant with some of my friends and we had a great time. Keith was our waiter. He showed us exceptional customer service. He brought us this fantastic Moscato and he’s very good with recommending dishes as well as drinks. I loved the vibe and the atmosphere. The food was excellent. I loved the salmon dish! Magnificent!”
“Had such a great atmosphere with wonderful service. The food was amazing. The mermaid roll and honey roll is my favorite, so delicious. The all you can eat sushi is such an awesome option! Not bad on cost for the amount of servings you can get.”
“Our waitress April was AMAZING! She made us feel like family and was great with our four kids! She was so helpful when we would ask questions about a certain location! She made dinner a great and fun experience for us and the kids!”
“Very upscale Mexican restaurant with a highly skilled chef, food was awesome and Andrea, our waitress was very attentive and sweet. The four of us all liked our dishes.”

“March 12, 2024 -- just picked up food a few minutes ago. Walked in and no one at the door to greet you if you are dining in or if you are waiting for a pickup. Workers walk in and out from the back and do not ask anyone what they need. Made the order on line -- was supposed to be picked up at 6:50, but once I got there had to wait another 20 minutes without anyone saying so much as I will be with you. The restaurant was not packed -- but none of the workers had a sense of urgency. Chicken was fried so hard to the point that I was not able to eat it -- if I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible service & Terrible food.”
“Wife and I hadn't gone go a Red Lobster in quite a while. Decided to try the one at the Marbach location. Upon walking in found no-one at the front desk, after a brief time two girls came up and eventually sat us at a booth. Subsequently, we were attended quickly by "Kai" our wait server. He introduced himself, was cordial and very attentive. He offered to take our drink order, which was brought to us quickly, and then took our orders. The meals were ordered were prepared well. presented well and were very tasty. Throughout the time we were there, "Kai" came by our table often always offering to bring anything else we might need or desire drink or eat. "Kai's" service was excellent and prompt. We'll come back again...hopefully we'll be attended by "Kai'.”
“We have been eating at the Thai Restaurant for nearly twenty years, through four owners. We really have to say that the current owner has better food and service than the any of the previous owners. My husband always orders the green curry, which is just spicy enough for him, whether he asks for a 6 or 10 on the spicy scale. I try to order different plates, from the Pad Thai, which is always delicious with nice, firm noodles, to the Basil Fish, which is a fresh tilapia filet with lots of fresh stir-fried veggies. Everything is always fresh and clean. And the service is great, fast, efficient and very nice. We highly recommend the Thai Restaurant, for lunch or dinner, or both!”
“The Jewel cafe and bar is just as it's name states, " A Jewel in San Antonio". My husband, 23 year old daughter and I visited this establishment Saturday morning. The new owners are more than friendly and welcoming. They educated my family on the history of the business and when it was a home. They elaborated on their menu and services. The property and fractions of it can be reserved for private parties and events. I ordered the cappuccino with almond milk and hazelnut syrup. Amazing! I can change this up several ways, which is my intention in the future. My husband ordered a peach mango tea. Hot. He loved it, also. My daughter ordered a Latte with almond milk and hazelnut syrup. She agrees this is the best coffee drink she has had and the luxurious but comfortable and casual home atmosphere made it 100% better. My husband also ordered a cinnamon roll. One of the many pastry options available. There are many areas to sit inside or outside, to enjoy the treats. Something good to know, behind the establishment is their private parking lot. This makes it easy to park safely and not worry about crowded curb parking. I highly recommend the Jewel to all folks looking for a coffee, breakfast house to enjoy quality time with family and friends. I do know they are open in the evenings also, offering a full bar alongside coffee, to those who love to unwind with a cocktail. The owners told me of so many plans to serve their community, in this coming year, that I cannot remember it all. I, for sure, will be coming back with new folks to give everyone I know an experience worth having.”

“If you're looking for the BEST authentic Hawa'iian food in the San Antonio area, this is the place. Using family recipes from Maui, their food is "ono-licious!". Don't be in a hurry because each meal is cooked individually, after it is ordered. If you're looking for that original taste, this is the place. Oh, and the staff is very pleasant and accomodating.”

“I’ve been to MANY breakfasts spots and this by far as been one of the BEST in the area the food was GREAT the atmosphere was COMFY and CREATIVE. And the service was ON POINT. Definitely coming back here with my whole family. Loved it my husband order the French toast and I ordered an omelette. I also ordered a hot chocolate. Every thing was tasty and great portion sizes as well. I think our servers name was Waylan we sat at the bar he was super attentive quick and very kind. ☺️ be sure to set a reservation in advance the wait times can be pretty Long.”
“We had a great experience! We booked around 7 so saw the sunset from the tower. The view is unmatched. The food was excellent, I got the coconut shrimp and my husband got a filet that was cooked to perfection. The table side cocktails were fun and delicious. We felt the timing of everything was great, it's nice to not be rushed and have time to enjoy the scenery. The elevators take a sec, you're eating at the top of a tower so to be expected. Don't plan on getting in and out in a hurry. We enjoyed our time here very much, highly recommend!”
