“This is my second time coming here and it’s totally worth the drive from Austin! The bánh mì is always fresh, flavorful, and packed with goodness. The bread is crispy on the outside, soft inside—just how it should be. I tried the egg bánh mì this time and it hit the spot. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Definitely one of my favorite bánh mì spots now!“

“Wow! This place should be famous! Their menu offers everything you could ever want: pork, seafood, beef, chicken and vegetarian dishes..
Starting with delicious soup, I had Hunan chicken and my brother had sweet and sour pork. The entrees include fried or steamed rice and a crispy egg roll .
We were both overwhelmed by deliciousness.
Our portions were enough for two meals.
Our hostess was charming and helpful.
Believe it or not, each meal was only $14!!!

I've been coming here for a very long time and I can't stress enough how good the food is. They've become even more popular in recent years, and while the parking situation is out of their control given the location, walking a block or two is worth it, rain or shine!

The Combo Pho, Grilled Pork Vermicelli, Thai Iced Tea, and Vietnamese Coffee are my absolute favorites. I've brought family here many times and the menu accommodates just about anyone. Everyone leaves fulfilled and, in some cases, with leftovers for lunch the next day (just never in my case...). Still the best in San Antonio.“

“The experience and the ambience were excellent! I am a vegan vegetarian. The server told me that all the soups used chicken or beef broth. My only option was stir fried veggies with tofu. I was not happy initially that I will miss the soup and that's why I was there primarily. When I got my food I was so happy to see it! Looked appealing and appetizing. My wife and I have gone twice, each time our meal was good - but this last time her food was so hot that even after 20 minutes it was still steaming and could have burned her mouth. She ended up having to take it to-go. We'd rather it be hot than cold, but it was a running joke that we needed to put it in the microwave to cool it off.

The service is lacking. It isn't critical for this type of dining experience, but I must admit that the hostess/server is fairly unkind. Its also a weird atmosphere with chairs that screech on the floor and the hostess speaking extremely loud on speaker phone.“
