This past Wednesday, we visited a restaurant we haven't been to in years. A Dong Restaurant serves both Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Hubby and I both had the Coconut Drink that was very refreshing. Love the fresh coconut meat! Dad had Soy Bean Milk. We started off with the Vietnamese Egg Rolls and Crab and Corn Soup. The soup tasted good but the crabmeat was not the star of the dish. Been here twice, once 3 years ago had the pho dac biet, it was borderline salty, another teaspoon of salt and the broth will be too salty, returned again just to see how the pho was again, well pho was the same saltiness, the other A Dong at the forum off 35 north and 1604 is not salty, keep in mind I probably have visited every pho place in San Antonio. Don't know but maybe it's the folks that live around De Zavala like their pho a little heavy on the salt I guess. Not for me....read full review
