“My new favorite place...period! I love Thai food, and I am extremely picky (also, I rarely review any dining experience). We stopped by last night and grabbed the Chicken Pad Thai medium and Mango Sticky Rice. Delish!!!! I seriously woke up with it on my mind!!! YES YES YES!!! Oh, I also had my Mango Sticky Rice for breakfast 🤣“

“We have been eating at the Thai Restaurant for nearly twenty years, through four owners. We really have to say that the current owner has better food and service than the any of the previous owners. My husband always orders the green curry, which is just spicy enough for him, whether he asks for a 6 or 10 on the spicy scale. I try to order different plates, from the Pad Thai, which is always delicious with nice, firm noodles, to the Basil Fish, which is a fresh tilapia filet with lots of fresh stir-fried veggies. Everything is always fresh and clean. And the service is great, fast, efficient and very nice. We highly recommend the Thai Restaurant, for lunch or dinner, or both!“

“They're...back! With a smile and gratitude on their faces. It was wonderful to see them both the man and the woman serving great Thai food again. They moved their truck from where it was by the building to the block where all the other food trucks are. She's always so generous with water to all the customers but on this day today she gave us complimentary three Thai teas and charged us for one. The food was excellent as always and highly recommend especially if you dont like pad Thai before like me but after I went to Thailand and then came back here it's only one I've really liked. We usually get the Thai fried rice, orange chicken and pad Thai with the Thai teas. Excellent and highly recommended!“

“The only regret I have is not living closer so I can be here more often! Before I even ordered food, the service was impeccable. My card was compromised at 5am Sunday and although I opted to wait until Monday morning to deal with it, the bank put a hold on my account, rightfully so. They were so patient as I dealt with trying to transfer funds to another account and even started on my order so when it would be ready by the time I completed payment. By the time I made payment, food was packed and hot! We were so hungry, we decided to eat it there. We had no problem eating it in our to go boxes, but they insisted on putting it on plates. The food was amazing! Best Thai food I've ever had here in town. I'm so grateful for a restaurant that has food that aligns with their service and values. We can't wait to return!“

“We went to Lemongrass Thai as a group of four, including a brand-new BMT grad we were treating to lunch, and this place made the occasion. Four people, everything delicious, $65 before tip. In San Antonio in 2026, that kind of value is almost hard to believe. I went with the Thai sweet and sour chicken at 3-spice — the heat was spot on, enough to know it's there without overwhelming the dish. The ginger dressing on the salad was a highlight in its own right. Portions were generous across the board; nobody left hungry. Our server Roy was a standout. A 23-year-old Army vet with great energy and a genuine interest in our BMT grad's next steps — he took time to share real, firsthand military career advice that meant a lot. Another diner at the restaurant had recommended the duck and our grad went for it. Smart call — it was a hit. That kind of warmth, from the staff and even fellow diners, is what makes a meal stick with you. Lemongrass Thai is the kind of neighborhood spot that earns loyal regulars. Highly recommend.“

“Could possibly be the best curry in San Antonio! And they say spicy, they mean spicy! I get the pinapple curry which sounds weird, but it's the perfect combo of sweet and spicy. Delicious. Their sushi is also really good - so much to choode from!“

“The food is good, haven't had any problems that other reviews have mentioned. My wife and I have gone twice, each time our meal was good - but this last time her food was so hot that even after 20 minutes it was still steaming and could have burned her mouth. She ended up having to take it to-go. We'd rather it be hot than cold, but it was a running joke that we needed to put it in the microwave to cool it off.

The service is lacking. It isn't critical for this type of dining experience, but I must admit that the hostess/server is fairly unkind. Its also a weird atmosphere with chairs that screech on the floor and the hostess speaking extremely loud on speaker phone.“

“I visited here while traveling and used a Groupon. We ordered the combination fried rice and lemon chicken with rice plate. Both were tasty and hot. The place looked brand new and everything was spotless. There were no other patrons there in the late afternoon on a Friday, so the wait for our food was short. The lady taking our orders was professional and patient while we decided what we really wanted.“

“The food is good but they STILL don’t have any heat. Went there a while back and thought no heat was a minor set back and repairs would be made. Its a few months later and they haven’t had it fixed. Won’t go back til summer. The food was served hot but was barely room temp just moments later because it was so cold in the restaurant. Not good.“
