I have had several different dishes at this restaurant now and they have all been delicious. The staff is prompt and very friendly. It is my new favorite Thai food in San Antonio.
Really delicious and authentic Thai food! Very quick and attentive service! We are happy to have a nearby Thai option!

Based on the reviews, Los Trompos Tacos de Barrio serves the best tacos for miles, offering real Mexican tacos and authentic Mexico City taqueria food, not Tex-Mex. The food tastes homemade and is not overly commercialized. The tacos, including al pastor, carne asada, birria, Al Pastor verde, and regular tacos, have incredible flavor with fresh tortillas, juicy and well-seasoned meat, and toppings that complement everything. The al pastor has a perfect balance of smoky, savory, and slightly sweet flavor. The pozole and guarache are also very good. The salsas are incredible and bring the heat. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming. Service is prompt, friendly, and fast, with great recommendations. The establishment is very tidy and clean. Portions are satisfying, and prices feel fair. This hidden gem in the Churchill Estates area is a fantastic taco spot that comes highly recommended.
