“Ordered for take out with my friend; I got the braised beef noodles and she got the vegetable noodles. I never really had Chinese before, but the taste was good! Noodles were pleasant to slurp as well; my only complaint is I wasn't used to the texture of the beef so I ended up not eating it (it was smooth and chewy). My friend loved her meal and ate the whole thing! Overall pretty good for the price! The inside was pleasantly decorated and had plenty of people sitting, chatting, and eating. Seems like it'd be a nice place for Chinese food lovers!“

“Hole in the wall, tiny, but authentic and delicious. We bought the egg rolls, beef soup with thin noodles, and spicy lamb soup with thick noodles.

If you’re debating between thick and thin, yes thin is recommended by the restaurant and that’s because it’s easier to eat and soaks in a bit more of the broth. But if you like thick noodles, go ahead and just get thick because if you’re a fan of thick, thin will pale in comparison for you.

Both beef and lamb were very good. I think I prefer beef a little more though just because the lamb was a bit more gamey versus tender. And the beef broth had deep layers of flavor that you can taste if you let it sit in your mouth and taste. The lamb was very flavor forward versus the beef had depth in flavor. At first taste, lamb tasted better but just my personal preference I prefer beef. The lamb was also spicy so maybe it was harder to taste that depth of flavor if it had any because there was a forward spice.

The egg rolls were amazing. We loved how hot and juicy the veggie egg roll stuffed with noodles were. Probably one of the best veggie egg rolls I’ve had.“

“Baan Thai is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in San Antonio. We even know our waitress by now, which says everything about the kind of place this is.

The food is incredible every single time. The pad thai and pad kee mow are both must-orders, and the red Thai curry is rich and perfectly spiced. Save room for the mango sticky rice and Thai tea — honestly the best way to end a meal here.

“I have been here twice in one week, because the first time, I chose Pad Thai. Tonight, I tried the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. They were delicious! This restaurant also has Chinese entrées, which is displayed on their online menu. The portions are big and we had great service.“

We have grown close to this family over the years and love them so much. We live an hour away and still always come at least once a week. “This was my first time ever at Pei wei. I’m sad I have skipped Pei wei for panda. This place is so much better. As an Asian who moved to San Antonio. I never thought some of the best Chinese food would be here. You can even sub rice for salad if you want to be healthy for no additional charge. And the manager Farid is the coolest guy! Even though I live pretty far from here I plan on ordering here whenever I need my Chinese fix. So so thankful for Farid, Serenity, and their kung pao chicken. Excited to try their lettuce cups and honey mango chili chicken sometime soon! Highly recommend!“

We ordered a combination plate that includes flat noodles chow mein, ( you have anchoice of thin or flat noodles) 10 piece dumplings and a egg roll. It was delicious. “Seoul Food
It was a Monday while vsiting San Antonio. We started the dinner hunt looking for a steakhouse, but our favorite choice was closed on Monday. Next best thing is...Korean! We went with Korean food, because we were on a mission to eat meat. Seoul Food was chosen, because on Google maps the photos looked delicious and the menu looked authentic. We are very glad we picked this. Outside it looks a bit sketchy, but trust us that the inside will not disappoint. Inside first impressions are a couple of shades of gray color, but it becomes a calming background. Do not let the color dissuade you. Sit down, review the menu, and get ready to be transported to Seoul, Korea. We knew we had made a good choice when other diners coming in behind us were speaking Korean. We started with our favorite appetizer, the kimchee pancake. It was huge! Most importantly, the kimchee pancake was crispy top and bottom. It was, bar none, the best we have ever had.

Coming with the entrees are the fantastic selection of banchan.
The banchan were plentiful -- kimchee, kimchee bean sprouts, kimchee cucumber, Korean potatoes, daikon salad, dressed veggie salad, fish cake(?). Refills available on all of the banchan. The kimchee was not as spicy as we usually get at home, but it is still very complimentary to the kalbi.

For our entree, we both ordered Kalbi - meat of course. You get a massive pile of kalbi that are thick cut and large in size. The kalbi was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy and cut apart Honestly, we could not eat fast enough, it was so delicious. We had 9 large pieces each. With the pieces being large and succulent, it was more than enough. We were stuffed full by the end. Exceptional Korean food. Overall, we highly recommend eating here. It will be on our visit list next time we are in town. Hope to see you there.“

“Holy Moly! Just tried this place on a whim. Wow!! The food was amazing. So fresh and delicious. We got the shrimp lo-Mein. Beef brisket noodles, twice cooked pork belly and crispy dumplings. Wow. Just wow. All of it was amazing.“

KK Thai is a diamond in the rough. Great, pleasant service, and the food is delicious. Their Pad Thai was spiced just right, and extremely flavorful.

“I picked up lunch from Golden Wok in the Shell gas station on Eisenhower Rd & Midcrown Dr. I should have called it in but I didn’t. Ordered the sweet n sour pork and lemon chicken with steamed rice. Also ordered the chicken Lo Mein, All plates were made fresh and tasted great. Good portions as well, and those were the lunch plates, the dinner plates are bigger. They have a couple of tables to eat at but they were piled with their kitchen stock. I’d order from there again.“

“China Express has received a great online presence. I was expecting bigger plates but I was still amazed at the huge portions. 2 plates fed 3 and we still had some left over. The price was under $30 and I ordered rangoons and 2 eggrolls. Each plate had 2 entrees so I got General chicken, orange chicken and fried rice, on the other plate I got teriyaki chicken and beef and broccoli with noodles. Everything was pretty decent tasting but the best was the beef and broccoli.“
