“Unique pink house in kind of residential area. Friendly staff, but their soda machine was out of commission, so they couldn't even give us water, had to buy their bottled water. Thai curry place, with good meats. Everything was just a tad spicy (on par with Thai curries). Our party are not fan of this place, but I personally enjoyed the bowls.“
“Ordered:Lamb noodles - very lamb-ie and spicyChunky beef noodle - beefy and spicySliced beef noodle - bland and beef way tough AFfried dumplings - its no frills, I prefer hong kong style dumplings with more chives and vegetablesboiled dumplings -boiled pig ears - Effing epic, the best flavor crunchy, collagen texture. I would definitely order again.scallion pancake - wished it was flaky but it was tastymeat filled bao - same filling as the dumplings - ok“
“We were a group of 12 with a bunch of kids, Corey guided us in ordering, helped us get tables together, he was very friendly and gracious. The restaurant was clean, bathrooms clean and nice. The food was great, Corey took away finished plates and the boba teas were great!“
“The humble interior is deceiving... with only a few tables, it doesn't offer a lot of space. But the menu makes up for it in a big way! We ordered the panang curry, lo mein noodles, and kids' orange chicken and every plate was cleaned. I could have drank the curry broth straight with a straw. Incredible. The employees were friendly, quick, and attentive. Really great experience.“
“I can’t say enough of this place!! Came here and had the combo egg soup with 20 dumplings and a drink.. my fave is the pork and green onion! The freshness and flavor is *chefs kiss* both dumplings and the egg soup! The hubby had the combo Braised short ribs with thin noodle and 10 dumplings and a drink. What a deal! The flavor of the braised ribs was delicious! He said spice on 2 was just right! (If you like spicy)Our server, the gentleman was super nice and VERY welcoming! Always had a smile and quick with our refills. We love it here and hope everyone takes time to visit..“
“Today I ordered the Lemongrass Noodles with chicken. It was absolutely delicious. My first time eating here and I will definitely be back. The owner Paula is so personable and welcoming. If you want tgreat Thai food then this is your place to go!!! Oh and the Thai Tea is oh so good as well!!“
“I have been comin here for years and had assumed I had left a 5 star review a long time ago, but I guess I had not so here it comes. This is hands downs the best Thai food I have eaten. I have been coming here since 2020 when I first discovered this place and I have not been disappointed. From the Pad Woon Sen to the Nam Tok soup to all of the curry food. I have not found anything that was not extremely tasty. Just a warning though, the spice levels are not what you’re normally used to, which is not a bad thing. If you like spicy food, like me, probably start off with a medium. This is my spicy heaven and when I get a craving for spicy food I come here and I’m never disappointed. I haven’t been brave enough to go the hottest level but the medium to hot levels are pretty good on spicy. Great service and staff. I remember the very first time I ordered it was around Christmas time and closing they also gave me some chicken noodle soup and wrote merry Christmas on the to-go containers. The staff are super nice and helpful. The establishment is clean and I love that they play acoustic guitar music on the tv. With it being a home in the wall it’s just a nice place to come visit without it being too loud.“
“I really loved the Chicken Pad Thai here, it was delicious. This is their express location and it’s literally next to the gas station, parking may be challenging but the food is totally worth it and the prices are really good too. The service is fantastic, friendly and attentive.“
“I just wanted to share, we had an amazing vegan lunch at Mr. Ramen. This is the second time we went here, the first time we went was terrible, bad service, waiters on cell phones when people needed help, the meal took forever, etc. This was several months ago.Today we had none of these issues, it was a complete 180. The server, Elizabeth, was a delight, the food was amazing, and the vegan choices were wonderful. The vegan goyza was cooked perfectly!! I got the ramen with the tomato base, with a spice bomb and crunchy garlic and onion added in, the taste brought me to tears it was so good. This is no exaggeration, tears of joy came streaming down my face. My fiance got a non-vegan dish and she loved her dish just as much.I'm so impressed with how much this restaurant has turned around since my last visit. The owner has made over 5,000 bowls of ramen for EACH broth on the menu when he was perfecting the recipe, and you can taste it. It's a Korean + Japanese fusion restaurant well worth checking out. It's so nice having a place with vegan and non-vegan options. We will be back again!! I've included a picture of the menu to show some of the vegan choices to others.Dietary restrictions: Fantastic vegan options!!“
“After spending two years in Japan it has been difficult to find ramen that is halfway decent. Hero’s has been the best we’ve found! It’s almost like being in Japan ? Love the food, service, and the 5 different anime shows going at any time. Best ramen is a tie between Hero’s spicy miso and the spicy tantan! Only wish the gyoza was pan seared instead of fried, but it doesn’t stop me from ordering it almost every time.“
“We love Sichuan Garden! The food is always fresh and delicious!I love the Chicken and Veggies w steamed rice! It is my favorite! And the Egg Drop soup is one of my favorites too!The Kung Pao in either Chicken or Beef is very delicious. And so is the Sesame Beef or Chicken! And the Lo Mein is also so good!Vivian is always so sweet! And so are everyone else! Always very welcoming! And the restaurant is always very clean and bright.“
“YOU WONT REGET IT; me and my partner have been to China in, Lees, China Bistro and China Star and lemme tell you; we have not gonna back to any of those after trying Royal inn (nothing against all the other restaurants, they still have very tasty food if Royal isn’t available!) The food is delicious with great portions, very affordable too. The service is AMAZING! They’re very attentive to any “special directions” you note (I would know since I always ask for fried rice without green onion). Staff is welcoming and friendly, they’ve even started recognizing us when we walk in due to how frequently we go. Overall, if you’re looking for some delicious, quick, and affordable Asian food, Royal Inn is the perfect place! I recommend the sesame chicken, fried rice, and egg drop soup! You won’t regret it, we didn’t!“
“We had a group of 20. They seemed a little overwhelmed BUT the food was amazing! Dumplings and rangoons were so yummy. Their hot chili oil is so good and actually spicy. I had general tso and loved it. I tried some friends food I’ll definitely go back to have other meals.“
“My wife and I went there for lunch today. We were pleasantly surprised how good this place is. We ordered rice chicken soup, Thai Jerkey, and Steam Clay Pot. All were excellent! The soup was small, but was delicious! So were the other dishes. The ambience was pleasant. I strongly recommend it for people interested in Asian food in San Antonio.“
“I really loved the ramen and definitely better than most ramen places i been to, and I love that we can order separately, unlike most places, which makes it easier, and i really loved the spicy miso ramen and the sauce that they used on the egg rolls. I would love to come back again!“
“Just perfect. We ordered the Mango sticky rice (dessert first, because it was that kind of day) it was beautiful and delicious. Then we shared the Thai Ginger which was amazing and well presented. The waitress and hostess were kind and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was intimate and quiet. The food was tasty and affordable. Five Stars from me. Thanks!“
“This place was amazing!! Madison, our server was on point ??. Did I mention the sushi and appetizers are to die for?! Please look at other reviews and pics…make sure to try at least one app and main dish….their flan was amazing!!… We will be back!! New favorite spot in the SA!!Vegetarian options: Just ask and they will accommodate.!! They have salads, they have vegetarian sushi, they will work with you ?Dietary restrictions: There is different portions for different taste.“
“Stopped in on a quiet afternoon and had a great meal. The pot stickers were crispy, the spring rolls were very fresh and the pad Thai was really good. The chicken in it wasn't dry, it was just a bit spicy and plenty of crushed peanuts to top it with. I sat there for about an hour and they never rushed me out. Great meal. I would definitely go back if I'm in this area for work again.“

“Service: They welcomed us 20 minutes before closing and dined in. The service was outstanding and felt like home.Food: I WILL MAKE A 40 MIN DRIVE TO EAT THERE!! The quality of meat and fresh cooked vegetables is beyond normal. The flavor in their dishes is uniquely made by their amazing Chinese chefs.Atmosphere: Very clean and friendly environment.Overall: Don’t go to a chain restaurant, spend your money on a quality dish that will impact your taste buds forever.“
“Came for the 김치찌개 kimchi jjigae… it was pretty fermented! I like mine alittle less sour but it was still really good, and the 잡채 japchae was good! It’s a cute little restaurant, the atmosphere isn’t special but we come for the food.“
“Good food for good price. However, it was our first time there, the lady didn’t care to explain certain food items so we went with our best assumption. My mother in law and myself were not enjoying the sup she selected. All the other food we got was good. The lady told us we couldn’t change the soup choice, which was very disappointing. It’s not a bone in rib-eye steak, it’s a soup that cost probably $2 to make. Well we are not coming back due to this greedy, penny pinching business. Very unfortunate. They won’t last very long with this service. It was good food too, except for one bad food item choice.“
“Pretty cool place. The food was excellent and staff was friendly. It's a nice atmosphere, high ceilings, has outdoor seating as well.My girlfriend's ramen tipped over (our fault), and the staff was kind enough to offer to remake the entire thing for us at no extra charge. We only needed the broth so they gave it to us but verified we didn't actually need the ramen remade. They were nice about us moving tables and made us feel comfortable in our clumsiness.Thank you for good food and a good time!“
“My mother and I have been REALLY enjoying this restaurant. Although we have had it delivered many, many times before, it's still our number 1 restaurant to go to. The bountiful helpings do last us a while with leftovers, which is very good. However, the only thing that is a bit alarming is that their food from the Styrofoam boxes drip a lot, and the juices end up on the bottom of the plastic delivery bag. Quite a bit, when we do place a delivery order, the napkins, the Forks, and the paper bags holding the egg rolls are soaked with the juices from cracks in the Styrofoam takeout boxes. Besides that, mom and I are still giving a 5 star review because of their great delivery services and quantity of food with the most excellent price. This restaurant is so awesome on so many levels, and so delicious too! It's definitely worth a try! We HIGHLY recommend it!??“
“This place is in the middle of the hood. The vibe is like ordering at Timmy Chan in Houston (if you know you know). Price is very affordable , portion size is generous, it’s not gourmet dining, but it scratches your itch!My wife got the plate with fried rice, bourbon chicken, and orange chicken.I got the plate with noodles, bourbon chicken, and general tso. Both my wife and I would had seen the bourbon chicken with more sauce. It was lacking but edible. The orange chicken and general Tso was great! The spice level on it was perfect too. Not too hot and not wanting more. Also got 2 orders of spring rolls (4 in each order)Fried rice and noodles too were great. And the guy working drive through was really polite, so was the girl that took our order at the drive through. In all we ate damn good and didn’t break the bank. We even had left overs for later that evening. Total we spent 23 bucks and change for all that.“
“Was craving Asian comfort food but am very picky (I don't do chains for Asian food) so it was a treat to find this little gem in San Antonio. The owners are so nice (the kids are adorable) and very friendly. But never mind the service, lets get to ambiance and food. Although small, the restaurant is very Instagram-able, all the walls have beautiful or interesting artwork. Very cute! The food was terrific. The chicken karaage was crispy and the sauce was a little unique. Add a little of the Japanese hot chili powder and you're good to go! Both regular and spicy edamame had good seasoning and cooked properly (I hate soggy edamame!). For mains, we had the Chicken fried rice which was tasty. My friend who loves spicy, had the volcano heat bowl with chicken and he said it was delicious and wolfed it down in minutes. What I absolutely loved was the Winter special Yoshiya Beef Udon. The beef was tender and the broth was full of umami, hearty and very satisfying. I ate it all and drank down the last of the broth, too. Highly recommend that you try this place. Owners are originally from Los Angeles and their recipes are on par with my favorite places in LA and SF. If I ever make it back to San Antonio, I'm stopping here for sure!“
