Service was very attentive and the food was excellent. Pork Burger and fries, Spicy Garlic Beef noodles, Beef Bowl, BLT, Chicken Avocado sandwich all rated excellent. Price is acceptable. Parking can be tricky. Limited Handicapped considering size of La Cantera...this has been an issue for quite some time (but that's not Yard-House's issue). “Nestled near the newly developed Creamery area and almost within walking distance from the historic Pearl, this restaurant boasts a great location.Parking is easy, and there are plenty of places to walk around.You order your food at the counter, and they call your name when it's ready for pickup.They also offer alcoholic beverages. The ambiance is inviting, with spacious seating arrangements.The patio, overlooking the River Walk, is a great feature.“

“Met up with friends and just happened upon their happy hour (3-6 p.m. M-F), with about 20 different food options from nachos to pizza to vegan chick’n wings (which I appreciated as an occasional vegan). The order of Wisconsin cheese curds was massive; it could have been a meal in itself (an incredibly unhealthy meal, granted, but tasty nonetheless). A friend ordered the sliders, which came with fries and also could have served as a full meal.“

“Clean, roomy restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating options. Large menu, with most items capable of being made vegan. Huge portion sizes, so prices felt very fair for the amount of food you get. “After hearing all the hype finally went to eat at Velvet Taco. Order some chicken and beef tacos. Overall I found them flavorable and obviously very different from any other Taco you get in South Texas. What we found best was the white cheese nachos..that was really good combo with the blue chips!!!Atmosphere was great. We engaged in a wonderful conversation with two gentleman sitting outside and was a wonderful time.Good Food, drinks, and laughter make for a good way to spend some time out in the cool Texas weather.Definitely worth the stop!“

“Whenever we are in town this is our go to Indian restaurant . We love the flavors and the choices. Absolutely love the sauce with the samosas. This time I had the coconut curry and it was very good. The mango lemonade is also a favorite. The staff is always upbeat and friendly.“
