We spent $140 for two people because we're from Michigan and there's nothin' like this at home, but it was worth every.single.penny! “Visited my sis in law in China Grove and we ate at this little cozy spot. I really love the way it's decorated. The chairs are so beautiful and the place really looks like a Mexican cantina. Tex-Mex food for me is better than food from Mexico. I have only three Tex-Mex restaurants that I go to and this is now one of them. The food is hot and delicious and the drinks are great. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.“

“At the corner of Hwy 181 and SE 1604 in Floresville TX sits a little shack looking like something out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, that boasts having The Best Barbacoa in The World. We pass it twice a day and have often laughed about it. Shame on me for violating my own premise that the best food comes from the most unassuming dive joints. We finally tried it and Holy Smokin' beef cheeks, Batman. The service is good and the people friendly. The barbacoa is super tender, flavorful and moist, without being greasy. It comes with whole avocados, pico de gallo, your choice of flour or corn tortillas. If you order flour you're doing it wrong. You can optionally get it with the requisite beverage, Big Red. If you order any other drink, you lose your Texican card. It doesn't matter if you hate Big Red as I do. Go Big Red or go home. It has all the ambience of being broken down in your car on the side of a busy highway intersection, which of course is exactly the ambience it should have. They also have tamales and menudo, but online reviews suggest Larry should stick to what he does best--The World's Best Barbacoa--and leave it at that. oh...they only take cash, so leave your credit cards at home, and mindya bizness about if he reports all of it to Uncle Sam. 5 out of 5 stars 🌟“

But make no mistake, this is a must visit restaurant if you want good Mexican food. We had Bloody Mary’s which were probably the best we’ve had. We also ordered the appetizer sampler for two and it was delicious. The bartender was very friendly and made us feel welcome.“

Had a great meal , my soft chicken tacos were delicious ..My husband had enchiladas , he liked them ..just not crazy about carne Guisada gravy on them . “Been here a couple times. Drive-thru only, no dine in option. Always fresh and hot. Egg drop soup has good flavor but is exceptionally thick. I've had the chow mein before but I don't like that it is either noodles or vegetables - not both. And it is large thick noodles not thin stringy rice noodles. Beef and mushrooms and beef pepper steak was great! Their egg rolls are decent. Fried rice has little flavor. Their crab rangoons are AMAZING! Definitely recommend!! The portions are huge at a decent price! 2 meals for me honestly.“

7am the earliest is when they open now not sure why.

The food is actually very good from someone who has been many places globally.
The young man at the counter is very shy but kind and has to put up with the sometimey cook in the back.

Don’t be shocked to hear them say they don’t want to make something and the order is too big.(usually it’s not)
Not very good for business.
They will put restrictions on how many of a certain item you can buy.
Overall this isn’t the prettiest place to stop but they keep it clean at the tables and they don’t too long to get your food out to you.
Small mom and pop shop so come with that in mind and you will get some pretty good tacos for sure.
Tea is a bit too sweet for my liking but heck I don’t like diabetes on my first sip.
