“Food was great, just as expected from a highly rated BBQ/Hotpot restaurant. Wait time was totally unreasonable, had waitlisted ourselves 2 hours in advance and arrived around 6:30pm (5pm I waitlisted us on yelp for a spot and as per the app our table should have been ready between 7-7:30) but we had to wait an additional 50 minutes until we were able to sit at 8:20 because they over booked. We were a group of 6 who drove all the way from Brownsville to celebrate my BDay only to be delayed a great amount of time without any proper update as to how much longer the wait could be. There were a few more people who also complained so we weren't the only ones. So my 2 cents is that weekend dinner service is crazy busy and KPot needs to step up there game and really need to make some adjustments. Also update your menus tip surcharge bc we were charged 18% for a group of 6 even though your menu clearly writes 18% is for a group of 8 and above. When I questioned the tip was told it's automatically entered because we were a group of 6. Didn't want to complain bc we were there to celebrate and already were frustrated from the nearly 1 hour delay to be seated. We did enjoy the food and drinks that's why I didn't lower the rating. We chose the BBQ&hot pot option which was lovely and even got a happy birthday song, mini cupcake and the mascot visit...unfortunately no teddy ( which I didn't even know was provided until our server informed us that was provided) because my bday was on the 20th and we came on the 23rd missed out on the teddy. But what to do when as mentioned we live 5 hours away so no way would we have made it on Friday after work.“

“I ordered the bulgogi cupbop on my very first visit. A generous portion of bulgogi & onions served atop glass noodles akin to japchae, as well as a serving of steamed rice, mixed salad, & 2 pot stickers (gyoza). As if this wasn't enough, two separate bowls containing kimchi and pickled radish slices were also served. The bulgogi had great flavor, was well-seasoned and tender. The noodles complemented the dish nicely, adding an unexpected yet delightful twist to the classic bulgogi experience. The spicy sauce served with it really brought everything together nicely.Initially wary of portion sizes, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the meal was more than satisfying, even prompting me to take leftovers home.Wow Chicken & Cupbop stands out as an affordable and satisfying option in San Antonio's Korean dining scene.“

“I just wanted to share, we had an amazing vegan lunch at Mr. Ramen. This is the second time we went here, the first time we went was terrible, bad service, waiters on cell phones when people needed help, the meal took forever, etc. This was several months ago.Today we had none of these issues, it was a complete 180. The server, Elizabeth, was a delight, the food was amazing, and the vegan choices were wonderful. The vegan goyza was cooked perfectly!! I got the ramen with the tomato base, with a spice bomb and crunchy garlic and onion added in, the taste brought me to tears it was so good. This is no exaggeration, tears of joy came streaming down my face. My fiance got a non-vegan dish and she loved her dish just as much.I'm so impressed with how much this restaurant has turned around since my last visit. The owner has made over 5,000 bowls of ramen for EACH broth on the menu when he was perfecting the recipe, and you can taste it. It's a Korean + Japanese fusion restaurant well worth checking out. It's so nice having a place with vegan and non-vegan options. We will be back again!! I've included a picture of the menu to show some of the vegan choices to others.Dietary restrictions: Fantastic vegan options!!“

“A couple friends took me here around 2 PM after the lunch hour. It felt like a secret I wasn’t supposed to be in on! The food was amazing!!!The restaurant itself is very unassuming in the bottom floor of an office building. There’s also not much to let you know that the cuisine is Korean. However, the restaurant is very clean and cozy. We ate family style and everybody enjoyed their food. The drinks were bottled out of a fridge at the back of the restaurant, and they have a variety of American and Korean drinks/snacks. I saw a blue plate award hanging out near the register, too.Parking: The parking situation is a little tight and there aren’t a ton of spaces, so you may have to walk a block or two, but it’s totally worth it.“

We tried out the Spicy wings and oh my, not for the faint of heart, they are H-HOTT! (And we consider ourselves spicy eaters). Their appetizers are all great, we like their deokbokki and topoyakki.Atmosphere is fun and friendly, many screens showing constant K-Pop groups.“

“The food is delicious, seriously. Perfectly seasoned, grilled just right (it better be, it's DIY, I hope you don't mess it up), you can always have Omma or Oppa do it in the back for you too, and they'll probably do it better than you. They give you 7 Banchan (Side Dishes), and a bowl of Bap with your dish. A tradition in Korean food, symbolizing the love of a mother. Come to Kim's Galbi with an empty stomach, and you wont leave hungry..The servers are wonderful too. Homeboy was quick to bring me drink refills, clean empty dishes, my server had a serious demeanor but absolutely took care of what he needed to. 10/10.Parking: It's a stand alone restaurant, you won't be paying for parking.Kid-friendliness: Keep your child's hands and feet off the grill and they'll be fine.Wheelchair accessibility: It's one story and easy to navigate.“

“I did four stars but it's really like a 4.5 out of 5 and I only really took off the half of star because I'm at my table and it's my first time they bring some dumplings out I'm like oh cool this is awesome I never ordered them you know I place my order I got an appetizer the beef roll and my stone bowl so I just thought it was a complimentary item it was good but at the end it was def on my bill and had not even been on my radar I was eating them so I didn't fight the issue but it was def not a part of my order. I can only that it was someone else's order that I was mistakenly given. The food was awesome, the place was busy but not over the top so the atmosphere was inviting and I enjoyed myself. I like open floor seating so that was a bonus for me because you don't see that a lot anymore. Overall I would definitely say try it I didn't have any issues with my food. I even had some to take back home with me and my son enjoyed that so we are all good here I will def be making another visit.“

“WOW-! Ive been going to Asoko for around a year to two and they have never failed me-! They had really nice servers and very friendly! We ordered big daddy roll, yakisoba, ikura, spicy scallop (I think) and can’t name the other sushi, and some skewers, but I recommend all of them. They gave us ice cream tempura for my parents anniversary, and it was delicious! We also ordered some green tea ice cream which is something we ate even if our buttons were bursting ? For those who reads to know, Yes there is a nice clean bathroom! Recommendations and reminders: lunch and dinner menus are different and you won’t be able to have any lunch items when it’s dinner hours. U recommend getting a sushi roll if you like them, the ingredients are conveniently placed and you can pick from there, I like the big daddy and one of the salmon rolls they are the best-! To summarize: Great food, amazing servers, nice bathrooms, amazing desserts, and I would recommend this place to anyone-!“

“Needed a place to eat late night and found this gem! All of the food was 10/10. Customer service was fantastic - they were so patient explaining what some of the foods were!Ordered the kimbap, rice cakes, and soon du bu (spicy seafood, tofu soup) to go. Also included free banchan.Spicy rice cakes 10/10 - On the sweeter side and not too spicy. The tteobokki was the right consistency - chewy but still soft. The sauce is on the runnier side.Kimbop 10/10 - Perfect amount of sesame oil - very faint but still there! The rice is fresh. Each kimbop piece had the right filling ratio.Soon du bu 10/10 - They don't skimp on the fillings for this! The broth was very rich and mildly spicy. Would be so good to warm up on chilly days.I don't eat banchan much so I can't comment.Packaging 10/10 - I was worried the rice cakes would spill but they packed it in a bag already - so smart.“

We decided to do the AYCE and it was a very fun experience. We went for the higher tier with more options, as I had wanted to try the spicy baby octopus. The flavors were great, but I think that I may have needed to cook them longer. The gyoza and beef bulgogi were my favorite. The garlic pork belly was very nice too and the portions were perfect for two people. I would definitely be coming again!“
