“Delicious food, attentive staff, and cool decor. We always have a blast and a delicious meal when we go to Honey Pig. If you don’t know what to order, my recommendation is to pick a combo. The severs will cook it for you. They always give our toddler balloons weighted down with chopsticks to keep her entertained while we eat. Sometimes there’s a wait, but they will text you when your table is ready, so you can go browse H-Mart while you’re waiting. Highly recommended!!“

“We had a great experience dining here. We tried the galbitang and the cod fish soup, and both were delicious! The broth in each dish was rich and very flavorful. You can really taste that slow-simmered bone broth essence for the galbitang. The cod fish in the soup was fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised to be given fish roes as well.
The lady who served us (a very sweet ahjumma) was friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The whole place has that warm, mom-and-pop vibe that’s getting harder to find these days. Definitely a spot we’d come back to for a satisfying, authentic Korean meal.“

“Heard about Pocha is Back and decided to check ir out, and it did nice disappoint. The vibe is lively and a little chaotic in s fun away, perfect for going with friends. The food is full of flavor and everything came out fresh and well made. It's one of those place where you end up staying longer than you planned. I'd definitely come back!“

“My wife and I had an outstanding culinary experience at this Korean restaurant. We ordered the kimchi tofu soup with pork and the seafood and vegetables dolsot bibimbap (stone bowl), and both dishes exceeded our expectations.
The tofu soup arrived piping hot with six different side dishes and a raw egg to crack into the bubbling broth – a delightful touch that added richness to the soup. Every single side dish was expertly prepared and flavorful. The kimchi stood out with its perfect fermentation and balanced spice, while the noodles were silky and savory. As a soup enthusiast, I can confidently say this tofu soup has converted me into a regular – I’m already planning to work my way through their entire tofu soup menu.
The seafood and vegetables was equally impressive. Served in a sizzling hot stone bowl, it continued to cook at the table, creating that coveted crispy, golden rice layer at the bottom – easily the best part of the dish. The seafood was remarkably fresh, featuring tender octopus and shrimp that were perfectly cooked. The colorful array of vegetables added both visual appeal and a variety of textures that made every bite interesting.
The one area where there’s room for improvement is the service. While our server was efficient and professional, the interactions felt somewhat neutral – not unwelcoming, but not particularly warm either. A bit more friendliness would elevate the overall dining experience to match the exceptional quality of the food.
What truly sets this restaurant apart is the exceptional quality-to-price ratio. For dishes of this caliber, with such generous portions and attention to detail, the pricing is more than fair. Despite the service being somewhat reserved, the combination of authentic preparation, fresh ingredients, and outstanding value has made this one of my go-to spots. This restaurant has definitely gained a loyal, regular customer.“

“Everything was perfect from start to finish! I ordered pickup so when my order was ready they shot me a text and a call! They were very nice on the phone and the counter and confirmed my name before handing out the order. The food was absolutely amazing! The most fragrant and crispy chicken I've ever had. I got the Galbi chicken and the So Ddeok So Ddeok and they did not disappoint! I drove about 20 minutes before I HAD to take a bite because it smelled so good and it was still hot and crispy and really held up texture! I've also never been able to finish an 8 piece chicken by myself but this was no problem! And the chicken wings are a great size, not small at all! Overall enjoyed every part of this experience for my first time having Korean fried chicken and I will be returning! 100% recommend“

“I was finally able to stop in at this spot and I'm so glad that I did! I was able to get an outstanding bulgogi meal here without having to invest an hour and a half like at a Hot pot. I opted for the half rice half salad bowl and it was amazing. As a big kimchi fan, I was excited that I was able to get some on the side. We'll definitely return!“

“I am legitimately obsessed with this place. I stop and get it to go before heading into work in the evenings when I’m working nights and it’s the highlight of my day. The spicy pork and kimchi stew are my favorites. The spicy shrimp udon is also incredibly delicious. Hands down my favorite Korean spot in Austin. The staff are lovely, as well :)“

“I am in town for an event and needed a good lunch and seen the 4 and half stars.. Pork buldogi plate was 💣 bomb.. food came out steaming hot and spicy just how I like it.. definitely a recommendation for a quick hot plate!“
“Mom's Taste is an absolutely wonderful Korean restaurant and one of the hidden gems of Austin that I keep coming back to again and again. The food is incredibly authentic, hearty, and full of the kind of deep comforting flavors that truly remind you of home cooked Korean cuisine. The banchan selection alone is outstanding and the main dishes are always perfectly seasoned and generously portioned. The staff is warm and welcoming, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere that makes every meal feel like a special occasion. If you are craving genuine Korean food in Austin, Mom's Taste is without a doubt the place to go.“

This is a good truck in the sidewalk near the post office and convenience store. I loved stopping here when my office was nearby.“

“Rating: 4.3/5 [delivery]
We ordered two Create Your Own Bowls ($12.10) and added extra protein to each one. The bowls were packed all the way to the lid, so the portions were definitely generous. We had leftovers and didn't feel heavy after our meal so it's a convenient healthy option.
- Braised Korean BBQ Pork: Tasted like pulled pork so we weren't huge fans.
- Spicy Chicken: Not as good as the fried chicken options. It's like poached chicken tossed in a spicy sauce. Wish the sauce was caramelized so it can coat the chicken better.
- Bang Bang Chicken: Fried boneless chicken bites coated in their zesty Bang Bang sauce. It was okay. I wouldn't have known it was fried and couldn't really tell what the flavor was until I read the description.
- K'Pop Chicken: Fried boneless chicken bites in the Gangnam sauce. This was the best of the three chicken proteins we tried thanks to their Gangnam sauce.
- Base – Brown Rice: Great texture, not hard.
- Base – Jasmine Rice: Really good. The white rice tasted like it was lightly seasoned or flavored.
- Base – Japchae Noodles: Delicious, well cooked with great texture and flavor.
- Base – Fries: Not a great base option. The fries got soggy.
- Cold Toppings: All the veggies were fresh so you really cannot go wrong. I especially loved the esquites and caramelized kimchi. Recommend skipping the tortilla strips for takeout or delivery since they can get soggy.
- Sauce: The carrot ginger dressing was surprisingly really good and even had little bits in it. I was not a fan of the magic sauce since it tasted like a spicy mayo aioli that was not spicy.“

“Korean review: really inexpensive and one of the only places in South Austin to get your Korean food fix. I know other reviews had some service problems but experienced NONE of that. Greeted immediately when walking in, we picked our seats and had multiple staff during our hour and a half stay check up on us even with a crowd of others arriving after us. We got the Kimbap appetizer split it for two (was delicious didn't need anything else like a sauce - perfect on it's own!). I got the beef bulgogi and my friend got the Rock Bibimbap with spicy pork (like regular Bibimbap but in a hot pot!). YALL LEMME TELL YOU THIS WAS SO GOOD. I was having an emotional experience with these flavors. Banchan selection was good too. Got 6 of them and one of them kimchi. I'll be back for take out and eventually try out the Japanese and Sushi portion of the menu.“

“I've been wanting to try this place out. The pics look so appetizing! I enjoyed my meal but I'm not sure it's anything to rave about. I went with my sister and she got the Jopok All Ramen and I got the Topokki Rapokki and we shared some kimbap. She said hers was good but a little underwhelming and increasingly spicy with every bite. It came in a little mini pot and had a opaque broth. I liked my dish. It was spicier than I would like but not as spicy as other Topokki I've tried. If that makes any sense. It was a generous portion but probably would want to add sausage next time and ask for milder spice. Probably sacrilegious of me to even ask lol. I'd go again to try some of the other popular dishes like the blood sausage and mixed fry set. The woman working there was nice and they gave out stamp cards.“

“Cute vibes, and a different take on Korean food.
Food: we had the fried chicken, seasonal salad, and the wagyu. When looking around.. sooo many people had the fried chicken and our server told us they were known for their fried chicken and wagyu steak- which is why we got both. The fried chicken was a bit of a letdown for me. It was dry, wasn’t that crispy, and the flavor wasn’t out of this world- just tasted like toasted seaweed because of the nori flakes. Idk… just didn’t get the hype for $36 for a very small half bird. The wagyu was good tho, if not a bit sweet. Think bulgogi sauce marinaded. They had a great dipping sauce, but the meat wasn’t particularly tender and I wasn’t even asked what temperature I like my steak. It came out med rare. The kimchi that accompanied it was a cantaloupe kimchi.. which was ok, not my fav. The side pear salad tho was delicious, but still.. $18 for a side of pears and cucumbers.
Atmosphere was good. Very vibey and cute.
There’s a parking garage connected and they validate parking.“

“GHOST KITCHEN! Good food, although the ordering did not have boxes for a way to change your sauce that you put over top of your meal. Mine came out with just a hot chili sauce and no extra sauce at all on the food at all. I do not want to pay for a sausage $1.50 if I have no way to sub out the one that you want to give me. I did love the chicken though it was flavorful dusted with a hot pepper. It just needs a little bit of some type of light soy teriyaki sauce. Or like a pineapple teriyaki sauce not too sweet though. The concept of this is interesting but the execution and no freaking directions for new people is kind of beyond me. Kind of hard to understand or know how to order when there is no information eluding to it being part of my a ghost kitchen online or at the door. I ordered online and then didn't get a confirmation except a text that they received my order. I needed some kind of code. A kind African American lady with black glasses and pulled back hair was very kind to help me watch for my name for my order. For the ordering process for this company Moon bowls you all need to have a place to say you need a fork or you need to substitute sauce. For $16 I felt the food was adequate for this day and age. Please include forks.“

“Very good bento box! I had the beef bulgogi and kiddo had the chicken teriyaki. Everything tastes fresh and well prepared. It was a good value with 2 pieces of nigiri in addition to the typical Cali roll, tempura veggies, soup, salad, rice, veggies, and gyoza. We will be back!“

“My fav place to eat at the HMart Food court. They have Jjajangmyeon, korean black bean noodles. I usually get the meat option, which is pork. The spicy version, they just add jalapenos and charge an extra dollar for that. You get a lot of noodles and sauce, so this meal is totally worth it for me.“
