“Soupleaf is one of the best hot pots around. Delicious broths with veggie/vegan options, tons of veggies and noodles AYCE style, and availability for included AYCE seafood at the bar, plus meats they bring out to you (if you’re into that). Unlimited sauce bar, rice, noodles…everything is included. They also have fruit and soft serve for dessert. You can top off your broth with a different variety where most other places will charge you extra for a different broth flavor. I also love that they have a different price point for their “Sealeaf” if you just want veggies and foods from the AYCE bar without any meat. Very vegan/vegetarian friendly place, but I’ve also brought meat eaters and watched them rub their full belly while rolling out the door. Great value, taste, variety of fresh ingredients, a consistently good experience.“

This restaurant is beautiful! It’s well designed and thoughtfully put together, showcasing Chinese culture while still feeling welcoming to visitors experiencing it for the first time. I never felt judged or out of place.

The staff: Big shoutout to Daniel! He noticed us struggling with the waitlist tablet at the entrance and helped us get checked in. Even with a wait, we were seated in under three minutes, and he came to grab us with a calm, friendly attitude the moment our table was ready. From there, every staff member gave us fantastic customer service, the kind you’d expect at a five star restaurant. Daniel even remembered that we liked hot water and brought us some without being asked. Managers, please give this man some recognition!

The food: The kimchi was excellent. I’m picky about kimchi since I feel it has to be made a very specific way, but this one nailed it, with a nice kick of spice. Loved it. The chicken dumplings were amazing too. My only wish is for more options for Muslim diners, since pork plays such a large role in a lot of Chinese cuisine. That’s really the only thing holding it back from a full five stars for me, otherwise everything was fantastic.

Overall: I’d give the experience a 9 out of 10. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. If you’re on the fence about trying this place, go for it! :)))))“

“I stopped by today because I wanted to try your food, and I was looking forward to ordering. Unfortunately, I was very uncomfortable with what I observed before I even had a chance to eat.

The person serving the food was wearing gloves, but while I was looking at the menu, I noticed her repeatedly touching her face, nose, and hair while continuing to wear the same gloves. She even asked me if it was my first time visiting, and during that interaction, I noticed the same gloves were still being used after touching her face and hair.

I asked if she was going to change her gloves, because honestly, it really grossed me out. At that point, I decided to leave without ordering. I’m sure the food may be very good, and I was genuinely interested in trying it, but cleanliness and proper food-handling practices are extremely important to customers, especially here in the United States.

If gloves are being used, staff should understand that gloves need to be changed whenever they become contaminated or after touching their face, hair, or other potentially unclean surfaces. Wearing gloves does not automatically make food handling sanitary if the same gloves are being used for multiple activities.

I’m sharing this because I hope the owner or management will take it seriously and make sure everyone handling food understands basic food-safety practices. Small things like this can have a major impact on a customer’s confidence in a restaurant and, ultimately, on the success of the business.

I wanted to try your food, but unfortunately I left without eating. I’ll still give you four stars because I don’t want to judge the food based on an experience I didn’t actually have, but I strongly encourage management to address this issue with the staff.“

“Hole in the wall family restaurant! Everything is made from scratch, get there early when things are fresh and hot. And be patient because it’s run by an older couple. Cafe muoi with a bun tiue (fried donut) is a classic morning starter.“

“Just tried Fire Bowl Cafe for the first time, and I was so impressed! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a friendly greeting. The staff took the time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations, and made the whole experience feel personal.

The food was fresh and delicious—sometimes it’s hard to know what to expect with a chain restaurant, but Fire Bowl definitely exceeded my expectations. I’ll absolutely be back!“

“I had the beef curry here and it was honestly so good. The flavor was rich and comforting, and the beef was tender with just the right amount of spice. It really stood out compared to other well-known Chinese food spots—it tasted more homemade and authentic.

The portion was generous, and everything felt fresh and well-prepared. The service was quick and friendly, and the overall vibe of the food truck made the experience even better.

“This was my first time here, the food is phenomenal, my server was the best. She was so outgoing and always checked up on me, she also had helpful instructions on how the build your own stir fry bowls worked. Definitely would come again along with family !“

“I took chicken fried rice which had soft and tender chicken with long grained rice, green peas and carrot pieces. The seasoning was good and the fried rice was tasty.
Salt peppered tofu however was totally bland unlike its name.
The take away parcel was given in a very thin plastic carry bag. I was too concerned that the food will fall down from the bag on the way back to my home. You may please provide
a better quality take away paper bag.“
