“Soupleaf is one of the best hot pots around. Delicious broths with veggie/vegan options, tons of veggies and noodles AYCE style, and availability for included AYCE seafood at the bar, plus meats they bring out to you (if you’re into that). Unlimited sauce bar, rice, noodles…everything is included. They also have fruit and soft serve for dessert. You can top off your broth with a different variety where most other places will charge you extra for a different broth flavor. I also love that they have a different price point for their “Sealeaf” if you just want veggies and foods from the AYCE bar without any meat. Very vegan/vegetarian friendly place, but I’ve also brought meat eaters and watched them rub their full belly while rolling out the door. Great value, taste, variety of fresh ingredients, a consistently good experience.“

First of this is not a traditional restaurant, it is more like a take out counter. You have to go around the corner past the salons in Building #1. They have a limited menu, you go up, order it and get it in to-go containers. If you want to eat on premise there is the shared dining area.

We had 3 dishes. The Congee was the best Congee in Austin, hands down due to is including of all sorts of extra spices and flavors. Reminded me to the stuff I would get on the street in Bangkok.

The Fish Sauce Chicken Wings were the biggest surprise. Fried crispy chicken wings with the somewhat sour and tangy fish sauce flavor. If you like that flavor your gonna love these. If you don’t well, order something else. But regardless of flavor I must complement them on how well fried and crispy they were. Think Korean Fried Chicken level perfection, not KFC. Crispy, juicy, lots of flavor in the batter, moist meat. It was good.

Finally we had the pork vermicelli, It was good but not beyond any other Vermicelli noodle bowl. The pork was more of a pork chop cutlet than sliced and stir fried like others. It was good.
So if your looking for something a little different give this place a try.“

“Ling Wu is hands down our favorite dumpling spot in Austin and a place we never skip when we’re in town. The food is consistently excellent, and the experience as a whole keeps us coming back.

The soup dumplings never fail—perfectly made, full of flavor, and incredibly satisfying every single time. You can tell a lot of care goes into the menu, and it shows with every bite. On top of that, the specialty drinks are always a fun surprise, creative, well-balanced, and a great complement to the food.

What really elevates Ling Wu, though, is the staff. Team members like Jake are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, making the experience feel welcoming and personal rather than rushed or transactional.

“Xiao long bao was really good, Tasty soup, not too oily and skin is thin. Spicy beef noodle was also great, tender beef and tasty soup. Both dishes are one of the best in Austin! Authentic. Our new go to for xiao long bao and spicy beef noodles. Purple sweet potato desert roll is good, not too sweet.“

“It’s a quick come and to go Vietnamese food and snacks. They are some tables for you to dine in as well and it’s highly recommended if you are ordering noodles soup or the steamed rice rolls. The food comes piping hot and tasty to our palette. They have fresh fried tofu, soy milk (sweetend/unsweetened), and other delicious Vietnamese bites as well.“
