Great Food and awesome ambiance.
Loro was nice, and the food was enjoyable. Unfortunately, after our meal, everyone in our group experienced stomach issues, including diarrhea. This really spoiled the overall experience and was very disappointing. While we liked the restaurant the fact that we all became unwell afterward is a serious concern. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and reviews its food safety practices.
First time visiting this restaurant while vacationing in Austin, a great suggestion by my son.
The food is DELICIOUS and great healthy options. Extremely flavorful. I highly highly recommend this restaurant.

Loro Asian Smokehouse & Bar is a very casual, counter-service restaurant where guests order at the bar and the food is brought to the table. It is a chill and super fun venue with great aesthetics and ambiance, perfect for groups and socializing. The service is minimal but excellent, with staff providing great recommendations.
The food is excellent and delicious, with a fantastic selection. Dishes are very rich with flavor and it is hard to miss on any item. Standout dishes include the edamame, described as life-changing, the chicken karaage, the brisket sandwich, smoked salmon rice bowls, sesame rice noodles, charred broccoli, papaya salad, queso, Brussels sprouts, seaweed salad, and the chocolate chip cookie. The Lunch Two-step with pulled pork and Texas sweet corn is also noted. For drinks, the mango sake slush, killer colada, yuzu soda, espresso martinis, and the zero-proof Strawberry Thai basil margarita are all great. The restaurant offers great prices and is a five-star choice for a satisfying lunch or dinner.
