“I first tried T-Loc’s in 2015, when I was in my final semester at TXST, and an apprentice to a business in ATX. My mentor brought me to T-Loc’s after a tough week and since, it’s become one of my favorites! I’d never had a Sonoran hotdog or anything like it and couldn’t believe I’d been missing out! The food is ALWAYS fresh, delicious and consistent. I love this place so much that I hired T-Loc’s to cater a private, professional event in October 2024 and I don’t have enough positive things to say. Miguel and his team are incredibly professional, timely and efficient. This was my first event to plan and execute all on my own and naturally, when last minute obstacles popped up, Miguel stepped in and he quite literally saved the day. I’m so grateful for this amazing team and all they did for me to ensure the event was a success, means the world. As long as I’m breathing, anytime I’m in ATX, a T-Loc’s trip is on the docket!“

“My wife and I visited last Wednesday on our vacation from Minnesota. The brisket was great, the barbacoa was the best I've ever had anywhere. The onion rings were amazing and I don't personally care for onion rings. The jalapeno cheese chorizo was outstanding. As good as all those were the beef ribs were the best most perfect bite of food I've ever had... But what really stood out is the amazing staff from Evan greeting us as we walked in the door to everyone that we met so helpful kind and cheerful! Having worked in the service industry for most of my life it's always a joy to be treated so well!“

“Don’t sleep on the pork biscuit. IMO definitely better than the brisket. The pork biscuit had more flavor and fat to combat the biscuit. Can’t forget about the cinnamon biscuit rolls - definite must! Go buy a coffee in Radio cafe and eat there to avoid the heat.“

I spent 3 months in Taiwan before moving to Austin and was craving some Taiwanese fried chicken and this hit the spot. Plus, everything is made to order and comes out super fresh (that said, don't come in a rush, make sure you've got a little time to enjoy their new spot at The Thicket and hang for a bit). Whether you've had Taiwanese food before and are craving it or just want to try some incredible fried chicken in a cool South Austin spot, definitely give them a try. ❤“

“Great food—especially the tacos and elote, which are my favorites. The only downside was the service. The person at the front seemed annoyed and disengaged, and it showed in the experience. He forgot to include a fork with my order. I left but stopped to check, and I know he watched me. Before I even mentioned anything, I went back and he just handed me a fork without saying a word or acknowledging me. It felt rushed and unwelcoming, like he didn’t want to interact at all. He was annoyed at being there and weirdly passive aggressive about it. I went on Saturday April 11 at 6pm.“

“WOW OH WOW. first, best vegan food i’ve had ever. my partner and i travel and try spots out often but let me tell you this is SOUL FOOD. second, Marlon hopped out when we were reviewing the menu and gave us insight to the INCREDIBLE intentional and sacred energy they craft into this refreshing, unique, and delicious food. third, every staff member had the best vibe it felt like family. food came out quick and the portions are perfect. i legitimately would move to Austin just to eat here frequently. the beer battered cauliflower was incredible: sauceyyy, spicy, tangy, savory. i couldn’t put it down. fries are absolutely perfect. the dime bag lions mane wings were healing for the body and mind. if i didn’t miss a perfectly fried “wing”. we also got the oysters and they were just as divine. it is the perfect nostalgia to good ol fried happiness. absolutely what an unforgettable and incredible experience. kindness, passion, and love radiate from these amazing folks and through their nourishing food. you can tell they are truly here for the community. most amazing food experience. 100% recommend for ALL people who love good classic southern food. 🌱🌞 ALSO we loved our experience so much we purchased a round 2 to-go to eat later after our evening with friends. *approximately 9 hours later* we put the cauliflower patty in the oven with the fries at 250• for 20 +/- minutes (no toppings just patty and fries) then after that time passes, turned broiler to high setting for 5-10 minutes throwing the bun in the tray (no pickles, tomato, or cabbage) then we rebuilt the sandwich and it was incredible!!!! fries and sandwich tasted just as awesome as the first round (round two wings didn’t make it home😉). 💗✨“

For my entree, I ordered the coconut curry ramen with chicken and the broth alone was enough to have me start planning my return visit! The chicken portion was huge and incredibly flavorful. The owner / chef Saaj is an Austin local that feeds his customers as true “neighbors” by sharing his native recipes with a unique home cook feel. The portions are massive for just under $15, and I dare you to only eat it once. It’s in the backyard of C-Boys - and Austin staple in its own right, so enjoy a Shiner Bock and some local blues while you eat.“
