“So a few years ago my all time favorite bbq place in San Antonio, Snoga's BBQ closed they had the best sausage around... in my life I have always been trying to find someone even close to having sausage that was even close to theirs...Yesterday my best friend was taking a day trip to Austin for work and said she was going to stop at Leroy and Lewis Barbecue place that she came across on the internet...I thought why not...I haven't had bbq in a while... so i sent her some money and told her that i wanted some sliced beef and sausage... so while she was there she raved about the food and how good it is... now she is Kansas City bbq girl...I am Texas bbq guy... so this has always been one of the arguments we have... LOL...well i think she has finally found her texas bbq place... so she brings back my food and i picked it up today... and honestly I think I have found my replacement for sausage it will never top Snoga's but since they are not open anymore they have become my #1 of places that are open for sausage...it was that good... not sure if they make their own or who makes it for them and they smoke it or what but it is amazing!!! Such great flavor to it. The sliced beef was also on point great bark and smoke and just melted in my mouth... now I am not a big sauce guy... but the red sauce had a nice peppery kick... they also have a mustard sauce...I don't typically care for mustard anything... but this one was actually really good... but the star is the pork hop sausage...I am having to stop myself from driving up to Austin again for more of it...LOL!!! So if you live in Austin or want to take a day trip go here is worth the trip...5 stars all the way!!“

“Wow wow wow. This place is truly a gem. I know there are a million taco trucks in Austin, but this one is pretty special.

We stopped in and split a few different tacos: chicharron and egg, al pastor, migas, and chorizo/egg/cactus. The chicharron was really tender and went well with the egg. The pastor was crazy good. It was shredded and had a lovely marinade and pineapple flavor. The chorizo was fantastic because it wasn't super greasy. Finally, the migas was super good and came with their homemade refried beans. I'm pretty sure the tortillas were homemade or at least tasted like they were. Their three salsas were really great too.

The older lady working the truck is so sweet. She gave us great service and cooked up ridiculously good food. It's like someone's little abuelita made us our meal. :)

We will 100% be returning for more.

“Didn’t realize this is a food truck. It has a cute dining area and a coffee shop with a bathroom. You can order ahead online but I got my order quickly after ordering once I got there.

Shared a two meat platter with my guy. Got brisket and pork belly and a side of pimento grits. The brisket was solid. Try the pork belly with a little of their grape jelly!! Lastly, I do not even bother with grits but my partner wanted them. They were out of this world good. The best thing I ate during my weekend in Austin.“

“I flew in from Virginia to find these guys and was so glad to catch some of the last bbq before they closed! They recommended the tomahawk chops and I added a beef hot link and have never had anything like it. It was phenomenal. The chop was the best pork bbq I have had in Texas! “Some of my favorite quesabirria tacos in Austin. The plate comes with 4 tacos, onions, cilantro, salsa and consomme. I don't know who can eat 4 of these tacos in one sitting but it ain't me. They're so FILLING! Lots of cheese too.

This time around I tried the watermelon agua fresca and it was very tasty. A little steep at $7 but that's par for the course in Austin these days.

Great tasting birria and among the best I've tried in Austin. I have a "top 3" but none of them are better than the others, they just do things differently and all are great at what they do! Tejas is on that top 3 list.“

“The empanadas were incredible. Chef Marvin puts cheese in them, a unique touch and the sauces are a great addition. Tried tostones for the first time and although I’m not a huge fan of plantain I was very impressed with how flavorful and crispy they were. And although it was a hot day, the food park has great seating area that’s shaded. Just be ware that the empanadas are made to order so they do take a bit to come out.“

“Easily the best burritos I've had. Have been going to their food trucks since 8 years or so. Consistent, reliable, flavorful, yummy food. Lots of variety with different spice levels and everything's vegan. One of my favorite food trucks. Spicy chickpea burrito with spinach tortilla and chimichuri seitan burrito with cayenne tortilla are our favorites. Spicy chickpea is Indian style channa masala and it's better than channa masala in most Indian restaurants; its Indian spicy, so beware. We also like black bean and pan seared tofu. For any burrito wrap, make sure to add quinoa and rice mix. Otherwise, it might be too light. We have also tried their bowls, mostly when we'd want to eat with fork or spoon. Haven't faced any difficulty in finding parking. Mueller park is also a nice park to hang out with friends and family.“

“We first experienced Four Brothers Venezuelan through a catering order at our company that had recently got an office space above the fare ground location. First off, typically when we go out to eat we gravitate towards American food, so we didn’t have much experience when it came to Venezuelan food and/or fully know what we were about to dig our teeth into. We’ve only had arepas once before Four Brothers at a place in Colorado, but we weren’t blown away, so we were curious how we’d like the cuisine. The catering order was a build your own arepa’s bar. They brought up the order right on time inside a warming cabinet so the food stayed hot and fresh and then displayed it out so you could walk the line creating an arepa of wonder and add the sides your heart desired! We were SO GLAD that we gave Venezuelan food in general another chance because daaammnnnn we didn’t realize HOW good Venezuelan food could be when the restaurant you order from home makes the arepas, along with their sauces and meats. The arepas were the perfect size to utilize as either a sandwich or even an open faced sandwich, kinda like a tostada style! They were dense and thick so you could load them up with all the goodies! The catering order came with pulled pork (rumbera), catira (chicken), fresh arepas, some fluffy perfectly cooked basmati rice, fresh cabbage/spinach, sofrito black beans, plantains, yucca fries, queso fresco, Venezuelan cream (like a crema or sour cream), pico de gallo, and the most flavor sauces ever: avocado and a garlic sauce! Lets just start by saying we are MEAT lovers and while the meats were both super delicious, the black beans made us stop chewing to take a moment to appreciate how much flavor was packed in what we thought would be “just” a side dish. That was NOT the case! Those alone could be a standout main arepa topping! Even the plantains… WOW! In the past I’ve never been a plantain lover because I find them to be sopping in oil, soggy and underwhelming. Let’s just say thanks to Four Brothers I’ve been converted! I loved them so much I’m wondering how I can eat plantains and sofrito black beans everyday! The plantains were soft yet dense, savory yet a mild sweetness that came though at the end. OOMMGG! Who knew?! The yucca fries were like the perfect French fry soft on the inside and a crispy outside. The sauces…. Wow…. The garlic sauce… reminded me of a cilantro garlic sauce, but way better!! It was sooo flavorful and creamy and while the garlic was there it didn’t burn your tongue! I could drink it! We had taken some leftovers home and we didn’t think the food would develop even more flavor the next day, especially the chicken! The air fryer was perfect to reheat the plantains and yucca fries and it was so wonderful even being able to create our own little bowls at the house… ummm they’d be great for meal prep for the week! Wink wink! Looking at their regular menu we know that we will HAVE TO experience them again! They have some crispy looking cheese and even mini arepa varieties which look incredible so you can feel responsible while also trying a variety! Four brothers completely changed our view on Venezuelan food! Seriously they are a flavor you will never forget and you might even become addicted to a new cuisine you never even thought about! You MUST try them, whether you visit one of their locations or get a catering order for your family or heck meal prep for the week!
