Saigon On 7th Reviews
truly a special spot on 7th. I had the spring rolls with the house peanut sauce and they were so refreshing and a wonderful fresh start to such a fulfilling meal. For my entree, I ordered the coconut curry ramen with chicken and the broth alone was enough to have me start planning my return visit! The chicken portion was huge and incredibly flavorful. My server, Audrey, was attentive, gave me the best care, and her recommendation of the iced mango jasmine tea did not disappoint!...read full review

Saigon On 7th is a small dine-in restaurant known for their delicious banh mi sandwiches. The grilled pork banh mi is a bit pricey at $12, but it is considered the most flavorful pork banh mi by some customers. The interior is unassuming, with very friendly staff. Although service was noted to be a bit lacking during busy times, the food is consistently delicious and fresh, with quick service. Customers appreciate the refreshing lemonades and the attentive staff, including recognition of one server who took great care of guests.
The restaurant offers a variety of Vietnamese dishes, including grilled chicken rice noodle bowls, tofu rice noodle bowls, and mango salads. The grilled octopus skewers are seasoned to perfection, and the curry ramen is visually appealing with thick slices of chasu. The beef pho features thick and bouncy noodles, rich broth, and tender meat. While the grilled pork banh mi stands out for its fresh ingredients and soft yet toasted bread, the jalapeño adds a spicy kick that some prefer to remove.
The establishment is quite small, with limited indoor seating that accommodates 2-4 people at most tables, along with a larger table for 8. Outdoor seating is available, making it easier for smaller parties to enjoy their meals. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is fun and comfortable. Although no desserts were available during a recent visit, the ube tiramisu is said to be amazing, and customers look forward to returning. There is also a small lot with free parking available.
