Hay Elotes Reviews
Terrible service. The ladies will make faces at you and they rush you to order. I don’t recommend on top of that the corn is not natural it’s canned 🤢 Dave your money and go to kokos over by Wingstop.
MAL SERVICIO! Las viejas te hacen caras y ni te dan tiempo para ordenar! No recomiendo. Luego el elote de lata. 🤢Mejor vayan a KOKOs.
Great service and great food! I’ll be back for sure ❤️
The customer service was horrible at the one on7th street. I tipped / dropped the corn cup when I was getting my payment and the lady not only charged me for it but said that it was my fault and that if I wanted another one, I’d have to pay for it… very rude! Never tasted the elote and will not be returning here and neither will my friends/family.

Hay Elotes is a popular Mexican restaurant in Austin, known for its unique take on elotes (Mexican-style corn). The restaurant uses a special white corn that provides a superb, natural flavor. Customers praise the restaurant's great service, with staff described as sweet and fast. The chamoyada (a sour, sweet, and refreshing drink) and nachos are also well-liked. Customers particularly enjoy the restaurant's use of white corn for their elotes, as they prefer it over yellow corn. The restaurant is small but clean, and while the parking can be awkward, it's considered worth the visit. Overall, Hay Elotes is a local, authentically-run Hispanic business that offers a tasty and enjoyable dining experience.
