“First time trying Torchy's and I must say I was not disappointed! The self-service kiosks are pretty standard and the professional was very streamlined and quick. The food is pretty large in portion size so definitely recommend taking each entree as it comes, and not ordering too much at the beginning. Will definitely come back to Torchy's when traveling through this area!“

“This is me and my girlfriend's favorite local joint. The food such as their pizzadilla and birria quesbirria are so large that you can eat in it for two days. For the money, that's a lot.
The food is very rich and the consome complements it well. Parking is easy, despite being around businesses on St. Elmo. The location gives it a very famiky friendly vibe with the tennis courts nextdoor.
The staff is always helpful and kind, they are bilingual which helps as well.“

“When somebody tells me “these are the best tacos in Austin” I can immediately be skeptical. These tacos blew my expectations. When I first approached menu, I was currently hangry and overwhelmed with choice and Liz was super-friendly, conversational and recommend the perfect taco combo of the Machaca and the Alambre. Wooo! 🤌🏾 amazing!!!“

“GORGEOUS restaurant with rooftop patio. Amazing food (you absolutely HAVE to get the guac).
One major takeaway?? The service is pretty bad. Staff is friendly, thankfully, but so slowwww. It got to the point where I had to go up to the hostess because we hadn’t seen our waiter in so long…and even after that it took another 10 minutes to see our server.
Not the end of the world, we weren’t in a rush, but if you are this might not be the place for you“

“El Naranjo is one of the best restaurants we have been in. We had the pork shank and the braised beef-they were prepared perfectly and paired with sides that were complementary to their distinct flavors. Spices local to the Oaxaca region of Mexico were blended in way that were flavorful without being overpowering. The wait staff was excellent, explaining each dish and answering questions. We highly recommend this restaurant. Yes, it’s pricier than other restaurants but is a fine dining experience that you won’t find in many other restaurants.“

“El Alma is simply a perfect choice for sharing the austin vibe with out-of-town guests or a friendly happy hour with locals. The staff are super informed about the dishes and are ready with recommendations. Bella was delightful and obviously a veteran server. The outdoor patio has a great view and is ready for hot or cold weather so is pleasant all the time, definitely ask for patio whenever available. And the food! Each dish is delicious but always listen to the current special as that’s always a solid choice. My most recent visit was large shrimp with a fruit salsa and chips. So delicious. The sauces make all the difference and take you right to Mexico.“

“Amazing service all around and the atmosphere was nice for a dinner in town. Excited to get to a gluten free restaurant in Austin and the server shred in that excitement with us. Providing recommendations and helped us make our menu selections for the evening. The pacing of the food was good and the drinks were nice and refreshing. Will be returning to try out more of the menu items“

“Solid spot overall. The breakfast tacos are definitely on point.
That said, it’s not the cheapest option, and you can probably find tacos elsewhere in Austin that are just as good (or better) for less. Still, the quality is consistent and it’s a reliable choice when you’re in the area.
Not my absolute go-to, but I’d happily come back for the breakfast tacos“

“My wife and I had the best experience here for my birthday lunch, I'm so glad we chose this restaurant to eat at while in town for the Austin FC match! I can't say enough about the staff and the owner Joel who went out of his way to be extremely kind to us. Not to mention the food and drinks were so good. We'll definitely be back!“
