“They have an extensive vegetarian/vegan menu with a ton of variety--breakfast food, mexican food, comfort food, desserts, drinks, and most of it is delicious. My only complaints were that the desserts were often too sweet and a little one note, and the surcharge they add makes it pretty expensive depending on what you get. Still worth it though.“
“Between Antonelli's for cheese and this place for gelatto and small sweets (macroons, baklava, stroopwaffle), Duval's 43-45 corridor is a powerhouse of small-scale, high-quality business. The gelato here is comparable or better than the other-best-ice-cream I've had (Bent Spoon @Princeton, NJ), and certainly does the Europe proud. I'm told the proprietor studied gelato in school and it shows.“
“"Cypress Grill is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, the inviting atmosphere sweeps you away. The decor is charming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. But the real star of the show is the food. Every dish bursts with flavor and freshness, showcasing the chef's mastery of Louisiana cuisine. Whether you're indulging in their perfectly seasoned seafood or savoring their mouthwatering Cajun classics, every bite is a culinary delight. Plus, the portions are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied every time. Cypress Grill is truly a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Southern hospitality and delicious, comforting fare."“
“I've been coming here for months, and I am always happy with the quality of my food and the fast and friendly service. The Veggie Tikka masala is delicious, and very full of veggies every time. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant.“
“We made a pit stop at the Salty Sow on our way from the airport to Georgetown, TX for the ellipse viewing. Nothing was disappointing. From the shrimp hush puppies to the duck fat fries and the charcuterie board, no morsel of food was spared. Our party of 6 including 4 year old toddlers also sampled burgers, the shaved beef sandwich and the tacos and everything came out quick, fresh and delicious. We saved the best for last with the raspberry pound cake. I'm a true Southern girl and I normally don't try pound cake unless it's made from my kitchen. But this one was worth it ... They didn't cut corners with Sara Lee. Lol.I'd definitely give this place another go when I return to Austin. Food was amazing, ambience was wonderful and the service was superb.Kid-friendliness: We were seated outside which has table top seating which might not be as great for kids who are just really learning how to balance themselves outside of. High chair. My for year olds did fine but just something to not.“
“I'm Haitian/Cuban Brooklynite and I've been looking for a place in Austin that will help with my Caribbean cravings for aLOOOOOOOOONG 6 years and WOW this place was definitely worth that wait. The flavors are layered, the meat is juicy and succulent the sauce is spectacular. The plantains and fries are fresh and crispy. You can tell that they care about the quality of their food. Now let's talk about presentation, just because they are food truck doesn't mean that they skimp on the visuals. I'm highly impressed and will definitely be back. So so so happy I found this gem ?“
“Stopped at this little food truck while we were visiting in Austin. So glad we did because it was so good. Hubby had the sausage and brisket sandwich and I had the sausage sandwich. Both were perfect. The meat melted in your mouth and was so well cooked it effortlessly pulled apart. And the sauce-AMAZING!“
“Good vegan options. I got the veggie enchilada and subbed the queso with guacamole and a mole verde sauce.Vegetarian options: Have to make modifications for vegan options, but there are plenty of vegetarian options. I wish they had a vegan menu though so it would make it easier to us to order.“
“The best gluten free dairy free ice cream I’ve had in YEARS. The Cookie Monster flavor brought me back to my childhood (before finding about my allergies lol). I also was so happy to enjoy a gluten free vegan waffle cone. I couldn’t be more impressed!Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free and the ice cream is dairy free!“
“The menu celebrates the rich culinary traditions of the South, with dishes like fried chicken and shrimp and grits stealing the show. Each bite is a comforting embrace of flavors, made even more delightful by the elegant surroundings and attentive service.“
“Some of the best food in Austin! You have to try this place. The flavors are amazing! The chefs are artists. The staff is friendly and engaging. They really care about your dining experience. Our waiter, Greg, was fantastic! (Pictured below). Ask for him and you won’t be sorry. We had the Gorgonzola ravioli, pimento cheese dip, and the Texas fried shrimp. ( also pictured below). I’ve had fried shrimp many times but what they serve here is hands down the best I’ve ever had! I hated pimento cheese, but can’t stop eating it here. Even their sides are delicious. Check it out! You won’t be disappointed.“
“The lobster buccatini is luscious. The pear tart is outstanding. We tried the oyster shooters thinking they were o. The half shell. It was a shot glass with an oyster in it. Being on the appetizer menu it was more booze than anything and the flavors didn't meld well. Should had it's own section and noted as an actual shot. Sometimes you'll get seated next to families with kids so expect that. The service typically very good“
“Really friendly service and very knowledgeable about celiac/what is required to avoid cross contamination.Really great breakfast/brunch spot. The corned beef skillet and the spuds deluxe are to die for.Very loud place.Great spot for celiacs.“
“We had to modify our reservations twice and each time, the staff was very accommodating!Dylan was phenomenal- very knowledgeable too.The brisket fell off my fork it was so tender! What knife? The inside was a little loud and the only bathroom was upstairs, but overall it was a clean and cozy environment.“
“"5 stars! MIA Italian restaurant offers the perfect Happy Hour experience with an array of delicious options. Their pizzas are scrumptious, wings are crispy, fries are perfectly seasoned, and salads are fresh and flavorful. The Happy Hour deals make it even better, providing great value for top-notch food. Definitely a must-visit for those craving a satisfying and wallet-friendly meal!"“
“Incredible culinary experience. Their tripitas tacos are, without a doubt, the best and finest I've ever had. After sampling tacos from numerous establishments here in ATX, I must say that Las Trancas truly stands out as the champion. The diverse range of offerings on their menu and the affordability of their prices make them not only a personal favorite but also a standout in the local dining scene. Their presence has undoubtedly enriched my life, and for that, I am immensely grateful. As a devoted fan of their establishment, I believe the time has come for Las Trancas to consider expanding its reach. I wholeheartedly urge you to venture northward and consider opening a second location. There is undoubtedly a hungry and appreciative audience awaiting your delicious creations. I have no doubt that with your exceptional food and exceptional service, a new location would be a resounding success. Your unique flavors deserve to be shared with a wider audience, and I am confident that the community up north would welcome you with open arms.Thank you once again, Las Trancas team, for the joy you bring through your tacos. I look forward to the possibility of savoring your delectable dishes at a new location in the near future.“
“Cupcakes are amazing! We are having cupprimo cater cupcakes for our wedding! Very friendly environment and the owners are awesome! The coffee is good, and the little quiches they have on the mornings put the cherry on top. We come here at least every weekend, if not every other weekend.“
“The portions are large, and it’s worth around $40 for two. They also have a keto bowl too. I love to make my own bowl. I really like all options they have like the jalapeño is nice and spicy and the crispy onion and nori and seaweed just makes everything go well together. I got the salmon and tuna and they were cut into nice cubes size. I do wish they have more fish options but it was delicious.“
“Hannah is awesome! My first time here and she walked through the menu to find just the tacos I wanted. They were fantastic and the service was fast. The only change I would have made is to season the meat just a bit more but the sauces were outstanding. The real "con" is that the prices were a tad high.Overall, I highly recommend! This place was as good as I'd heard.“
“I dropped by for lunch with the wife. Line was long but moved pretty quickly. Staff is helpful and friendly. Food was amazing. Brisket and turkey was juicy and full of flavor. Ribs are tender and seasoned well. Street corn has a little kick and mac n cheese is super cheesy. Potato salad was good as well. We will definitely be dropping by again.“
“Wonderful service. The limoncello spritz was refreshing and the wines are devine. Enjoyed the special of the day “ravioli porcini” which featured a rich cream sauce and delicious mushrooms with ricotta stuffed ravioli - cooked perfectly al dente. Espresso martinis to end cap our meal. Will definitely be back again.“
“We travel from out of state for Casa de Luz and Casa has had a profound effect on how we live our lives, nutritionally and spiritually. Thank you, Case de Luz.Dietary restrictions: Oil-free, gluten-free, nightshade-free, reduced-to-no sodium“
“i love cenote! their pancakes are spot on! i personally love the apple butter pancakes because of the fried apples (obviously) their service is great and the waiters are very friendly. i went on sunday and saw a young girl selling jewelry and stickers and just had to buy some they were very cute. there is also a front and back patio, front with a cover over it and fans inside and back is pretty big also has a kids play area with toys and stuff. overall i definitely recommend this place, everything is a great price and delicious!“
“Asters is one of our favorite ethnic restaurants in town. It’s very family-friendly and the food is delicious; I’d mention favorite items but really everything is good. The decor and atmosphere is low-key casual rather than fancy - which makes the family style dining all the more enjoyable.“
“Uchiko is our favorite restaurant in the world. We live Michigan (and Chicago) and consider ourselves foodies. Every year we do an Austin trip and Uchiko is always the highlight of our trip . We’ve eaten at Michelin star restaurants all over the world and make it our mission to seek out the best places to eat wherever we are. If you’re lucky enough to be in Austin, this is the spot. Tonight we had Chef Jean and Jeremy and had probably the best meal of our lives. The food is off the charts. We literally couldn’t stop ordering nigiri. We ordered so much we were gifted the Uchi cook book. Honestly it was an experience we will always remember. Chef Jean, thank you. Jeremy, thank you. Uchiko, thank you. Can’t wait for our meal next year.“
“1883 Cafe and Bakery offers an unforgettable dining experience with its delectable dishes and cozy ambiance. The migas are a savory delight, while the avocado toast is a modern classic elevated to perfection. Don't miss out on their indulgent dirty chai lattes, a warm hug in a cup. With impeccable service and attention to detail, 1883 Cafe and Bakery sets the standard for excellence.“
“Best place in town for agua fresca, they have a ton of options and although they're slightly expensive they're also giant, like 32 oz.The tacos are also delicious although some were better than others. The chicken ones tended to be a little dry but the beef and pork were always amazing. They have vegan options too!“
“The service can be 50/50 at times and I'm a big service person! Speaking of service, the only reason ATX did not get a straight across 5 stars is because they don't have everyone as Taylor there! She's amazing and is just your friend from day 1. Knowledgeable, exciting and just cares about what she does. Okay on to the food.1. Chicken tingas, you can get full off of them!2. Chips and Guac. Are we being serious? You can go all night just eating those and nothing else. The balance of sweet and savory makes it worth sitting there all evening.3. Short rib - game over! I'm making this declaration, if you don't like it, message me here and I'll refund you!Enjoy it all. Nothing you order is wrong“
“Beautiful place with ample parking and seating, unusual in Austin from my experience. Had a love lunch here with my wife. The food was delicious and the service great. Very attentive and knowledgeable, regularly checking in on us but without being overwhelming. Would love to eat here again when we're back in this part of town.“
“I love uppercrust, but ever since they changed the bearclaw recipe, I've been disappointed... it was better before. It was tender and bready and chewy and had a good amount of filling. I think they changed it to the croissant dough, and I love a croissant, but it doesn't work with the bearclaw for me! They had a special and unique thing there that nowhere else had, and now it's always dry, kind of tough, and sometimes the filling is just a log of cream cheese and somehow a log of intact (not melted) chocolate. At this point I'd rather go somewhere else than face the disappointment of my favorite pastry in austin being gone. I've given it so many chances since the recipe change and it's just not what I want! I loved it before!!! Change it back pleeeeaaaasseeeeeee. They have a lot of other great stuff though... their coconut cream pie has a layer of chocolate between the crust and the filling and the whole thing is delicious.“
“I have to say, for me everything was great. The chai tea was delicious and I'm very picky about my chai tea. The gluten free pancakes were just right and so were my over medium eggs. The waitress was a sweetheart. My only small complaint was the fruit bowl didn't taste very fresh but I can live with that. Definitely my favorite place to eat breakfast from now on. Highly recommended!“
“I finally found a bakery in Austin that has the perfectly crafted, out of this world cakes and pastries. It’s quite a drive from my house but I will even walk to this place for the deliciousnesses. My son’s new favorite and mine too…Plus their cakes feel so light on body and soul…Thanks to the one who bakes these beauties.“
“Miss Omg Squee, I got sucked in by the soft serve but then fell in love with the mochi donuts. The mochi donuts are great because they are small and always some interesting flavor. My most frequently eaten are the lemon butter and the Vietnamese tea.The Ube flavor is also good for boba or other teas and on their ice cream. The lines can get long as it's a small shop and kitchen, but it's worth it.Usually pickup only sat down a few times.“
“My mom and I came to Austin to visit my little sister who has been living here for a couple of years. It’s our first night and we were deciding on what to eat for dinner and being Filipino - we were looking for a home cooked meal and Kapatad definitely satisfied that! When we came we didn’t realize they were closing 30 mins earlier than usual because it was Sunday. My family ordered quickly but we did not feel rushed at all because the staff were very accommodating and welcoming to have us for dinner. My mom talked to the owner who took the time to talk to her for a little bit even though he had his hands full trying to clean. Our server was also seemed very kind! The food was very delicious and gave us a taste of home. Overall, we definitely felt the Filipino hospitality here and cannot recommend it anymore!“
“Lovely little corner coffee and bakery shop. Staff was so kind and exuded warmth in such a genuine way. ✨️ The atmosphere is bright and cheery yet cozy with magazines, soduku book, fresh flowers and good music. The bakery goods were all so appetizing to look at it made it difficult to choose what to get. I ordered an Americano with suger free vanilla and a splash of 2% and oh my goodness! The flavor of the coffee was so rich, yet creamy with a hint of bitterness but in the best way. The kind of coffee you sip and enjoy all morning - strong, flavorful and absolutely amazing. I can't wait to return and try the Turkish coffee and to continue supporting this lovely local business.“
“This was our first time going here and it was fantastic! Started off with such a friendly welcoming by their staff towards us but most importantly towards our dog (who of course LOVES attention). The pizza was so delicious and they provide such great hospitality. Will most definitely be returning!“
“Both staff members I spoke to were kind and helpful. It seemed they weren't on the same page as to whether or not samples were allowed. The older of the two offered samples unprompted when we asked her opinion on 2 tea flavors. Thankfully, they weren't busy, so she had time to talk to us and help me make a decision. I ended up buying a full pound of a wonderful plum oolong. The place seems clean and smells wonderful. I will visit again for more tea and perhaps a sit down with a good pot.“
“I had heard about this and read about it and had a wonderful meeting here unfortunately did not order any of the croissants that they’re famous for but somebody I was with at a delicious chocolate chip flaky type of donut and I tasted. It was very yummy.“
“Menu has interesting twists on the traditional bennys, tacos, burritos, pancakes, and scrambles. Many gluten free and other options. Had the pancake flight - pineapple upside down, blueberry danish, and sweet potato pancakes (gluten free). These were the best, fluffiest pancakes I have ever had. Large portions, wonderful flavor combos. My friends had the pork belly fried rice, marscapone-filled French toast, and breakfast scramble. Phenomenal. This place is also LGBTQ friendly, and servers were lovely and helpful. The fifties diner decor was upbeat, modern, and clean. A great experience!!“
“I'm extremely picky about my desserts, having started my career in baking, and especially when it comes to cheesecakes. I'll rarely attempt to order one off a menu at this point, given how many poor examples I've had throughout the years. The Celia Jacobs Cheesecake Experience, however, gives me hope. Why is no one talking about this little trailer camped out at the Thicket Food Park? I had never heard of it before and wouldn't have thought there was a single option, but lo and behold, they offer over 15 different flavors that are 100% plant-based! What's even more mind-blowing is how FANTASTIC they are. I tried the tuxedo (AKA chocolate and vanilla swirl) which far exceeded all expectations. It's creamy and rich, dense but not cloying, sweet but not sugary, served chilled for a refreshing grand finale on a warm spring evening. Flavors vary and now I just want to stop in everyday to try all of them.“
“Just picked up from ATX foodco. The coconut squash soup is like velvet! Such a treat. The stir fry is hearty and delicious. I will definitely be stopping in more frequently. Seriously guys, I’m having a love affair with this soup! Thank youu for this magical food! ?“
“Reem was an amazing server she was attentive and kind told her about are trip to the mountains and Katlyn helped me on the phone with the reservation seating she was super helpful the food was so good but the fettuccine was ok and the pork chop was perfect I had a black berry sangria it was the best thing ever over all the service was top tier and the food was great thanks reem for the amazing service“
“Wandered in on a Sunday to find happy hour going. Martinis are on point, both the sashimi and rolls were decent. The bar is a bit of a vibe, filled up pretty quickly within 30 minutes of opening. The service is good and our food came out at a good pace. I’ll definitely be back in to check out more dishes.“
“I highly recommend asking for Louis to be your server if it going to be your first time trying this restaurant. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional. He gave the best price combinations and his recommendations did not disappoint. It was our first time at the Melting Pot and we got the lunch combo with the cheese fondue added. We really enjoyed the quattro formaggio cheese. Next time i visit i want to try the Classic Alpine. We chose the Coq Au Vin as the cooking style for our main entree. It was absolutely delicious and went so great with the steak and veggiesThe cookies n cream marshmallow dream chocolate was to die for ?“
“This is primarily a home goods store with unique boho decor, but do not let that fool you. The coffee spot with their baked foods is a hidden gem - especially for those with food allergies or sensitivies. Maaribu is very inclusive. Each time I stop by before my work, I love trying out the various GF/DF baked goods they rotate in and out. Today's apple crumble bar and lemon loaf were super delicious! Be sure to check this spot out and grab a latte, healthy beverage, or a baked goods before your work shift or day of errands :)“
“Genuine Joe’s has been and will always be my favorite coffee shop and place to get work done. The most cozy atmosphere awaits my every time without fail. My latte is perfect every time and I have a hard time getting one anywhere else.I’ve made good friends in my years as a patron and I will always remember the times I’ve had there :)Forever Genuine-photo of my better half“
“I placed an order via text and walked an easy 5 minutes from my office on 6th to Nate’s. The ordering process through text was very easy! I ordered the super brown bag special. This included a Club Sandwhich, Miss Vickie's Chips, Cucumbers Salad, and a Cookie. The Sandwich was so delicious—chicken wasn't dry and the wheat bread was the perfect texture of crunchy + soft. Everything was yummy, but their cucumbers salad was my favorite!Update: Yes, you may post my review on social media + other promotions!Parking: street parkingKid-friendliness: bench tables outside in the patio area“
“Considering driving 200 miles just to visit this place again!Excellent service, smooth & comforting coffee, tasty & filling breakfast tacos and delicious danishes that have the perfect amount of sweetness…..all with an excellent view and atmosphere!“
“Moonlight Bakery is one of Austin's original spots with super delicious baked goods, lady who works behind the counter is super nice as well. This place isn't on the lists of "TOP BAKERIES" in Austin but its a no frills bakery with absolutely killer croissants and kolaches. Been coming here for years when I allow my self a little treat and I always get the chocolate croissant, butter croissant, raisin snail and sausage kolache.“
“WOW! This place was amazing. I got here at 9:40am and I was the 4th person in line. By 10:15 there was over 50 people waiting to get in. I got a little of everything so the price was not cheap. But man am I glad I did. All the meat was outstanding. The Coleslaw was outstanding. The green beans was outstanding. The BBQ beans was outstanding. The Corn was outstanding. If you are in Austin you have to come here. Top three BBQ joints on my all time list. Right up their with slow bones in Dallas and Stanley's in tyler.“
