“The food was great and the portions were huge. We waited around 20 minutes since it was a busy lunch hour, which was understandable. However, there’s still some room for improvement — the rice could be a bit stickier, and the corridor leading to the restroom had a noticeable smell. Overall, still a nice experience! ☺️“

My friends and I have been here on multiple occasions and the service, speed, and quality, have been consistent and superb with each and every visit. “The appeal of Cass de Luz is you leave feeling like you did a nice thing for your body. However, I think they could easily improve their food. They always serve kale with the thick stems and the food is just bland. Healthy food can still have more seasoning. I wish the East location had more energy. It needs some brightness to it. Despite all this, I am a regular. It's hard to find truly healthy food in Austin.“

One major takeaway?? The service is pretty bad. Staff is friendly, thankfully, but so slowwww. It got to the point where I had to go up to the hostess because we hadn’t seen our waiter in so long…and even after that it took another 10 minutes to see our server.

Not the end of the world, we weren’t in a rush, but if you are this might not be the place for you“

“This is by FAR the greatest CAVA I’ve ever visited. I’ve honestly had CAVA across the country, mostly in Boston and DC and I have never been wowed like this before.
Right off the bat I knew this was the spot to be. We walked in and the dining room was spotless. Not a single stray lettuce leaf on any tables. The music was at exactly the right volume, loud enough to be heard but not to interrupt conversation.
We approached the line and the team was incredibly nice. A couple bowls backed up, and another team member jumped in to make sure mine was started in a timely manner.
They gave us all individual attention, answered a couple questions and sent us on our merry way. The patio is a great little spot and our bowls were the absolute best.
Another thing I noticed and appreciated was the back kitchen. From the customer view it was clean and efficient. I love that they’ve implemented a separate space for online orders as it definitely takes away from some potential chaos.

“The best old school Tex Mex in town. Fajitas are so much better than Chuys or Maudie’s. Then there are killer items like shrimp ala mexicana with chipotle and classic lengua. Green enchiladas crush the ones from other places. Margaritas are super tasty and there’s no better staff at this family run place. It’s all very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“So far this is one of the better chicken salad sandwiches in town well the north side of town. It's more on the dry side which I prefer I don't like a ton of mayo in the chicken salad, but don't get me wrong it's not dry it's just not sloppy with mayonnaise like most places. Generally I don't care for grapes or red onions in my chicken salad unless they are pretty small diced which The Red Onion pieces are tiny and that way you don't get a huge blast of onion flavor it's honestly a nice blend of chicken salad flavors evenly. The bread always seems fresh I've even eaten half and saved a half for the next day and straight out of the fridge the bread is still soft and fresh tasting. Today I tried also a pepperoni pizza. The pizza crust is really good it tastes like Old School Mr Gatti's regular pizza crust, iykyk.... the sauce is nothing to write home about but the cheese and pepperoni was decent and amount and flavor it wasn't the best pizza I've had but very fair and consistent and I would definitely order it again I actually want to try the chicken barbecue next time. But so far the chicken salad sandwich with the potato salad side is my go-to when I'm hungry but I don't know what I want to eat and nothing sounds good there's just something really easy and satisfying about that combo“

“I was craving pasta, but didn't want to break the bank, I stopped by Giovanni's for a quick bite. My oh my! let me tell you the food is wonderful. I settled on the Cajun Chicken Alfredo, I added mushrooms to the dish, the sauce is fresh made and had so much flavor, the linguini was perfect, not overcooked or undercooked. The gentleman I spoke to took his time explaining the different items they offer, the customer service is excellent...additionally the price is very good for the large amount of delicious food that you receive. I will definitely return. Fast fresh and friendly service is hard to find nowadays.“

“I'm sitting in my car crying in yalls parking lot .So I honestly didnt see the sign of no cash and ordered my salads when I got ready to pay the girl in the register said I couldnt pay for my food in cash and I didnt have a card with me . so the girl said it's ok dont worry about it it's on us . 😭😭 I felt bad not paying I really did but she insisted that I take the food . so now I'm gratefully crying in my car. one thing they didnt know is that I come here every 2 months to get a salad after my infusion at texas oncology and the results weren't so good today so this made my day and made me cry. thank you I promise to be back and pay for this and more .
