“We had an amazing experience at Shogun for my wife’s birthday. Our waiter Wayan and hibachi chef Sonny were outstanding. Wayan was friendly, attentive, and a joy to chat with. Sonny was a masterful chef an absolutely hilarious. Would gladly be roasted by him again. 5/5“
“My first meal in Austin and I was greeted by Liz. She noted I was English and asked why I was in Texas? When I said I was visiting for the eclipse, I was introduced to the manager, Cathy, who showed where I could charge my phone. I didn't know what to order and when it came, I was told it was on the house! Cathy gave me a soft toy and sunglasses which had been on promotion. Beautiful, welcoming staff.“
“Tried this place for the first time yesterday and it was good for the most part. I liked the flavor and breading on the tenders, and the chicken was very fresh and juicy. I did not like the fact that you cannot sub the regular fries for chicken bacon ranch fries. The chicken wings were my least favorite item; they lacked a lot of flavor and sauce. Not only that, the flavor was supposed to be sweet heat, but I only tasted a hint of sweet. Overall, 7/10 for me.Vegetarian options: The veggie egg rolls look delicious!“
“Food was good and up to Panera standards. I had picked up my food and sat down and taken 2 bites, then they called me about my smoothie. There was no one else in the restaurant. I feel like they could have just brought it to me, but that would have been an extra thought.“
“Came across a social media recommendation for this spot and figured it'd be a perfect family outing. Let me tell you about the Dirty Mac and Cheese, it's hands down the best thing I've tasted all year—cheesy, spicy, and the chicken just melts in your mouth. The chicken sandwich was solid too, generous portions and full of flavor. Same goes for the tenders. However, the spice levels seem a bit off. What they call "hot" feels more like a medium. Compared to Dave's Hot Chicken, it's not quite there. But I'd definitely return just for that Dirty Mac and Cheese.“
“We live out of town, but go to Austin frequently for plays/concerts at the Bass Center on the UT campus. We wanted something close by (10 minutes away) and light. This fit perfectly. The specialty drinks are amazing, and bar delection is good. The wine list is small, and nothing really special. The food is fresh, tasty and good portions. We each had the tuna poke bowl and a pavlova shared for dessert. The place looks rather plain from the outside, and has a euro-minimalist look inside. The waitstaff is nice and helpful. Our waitress was from Belarus, and most of the staff seems eastern European, which explains the Euro-bistro feel. HIghly recommend!“
“Always so tasty and fresh! They took my takeout order over the phone and it was ready a few mins later. They were so friendly and sweet when I came to pick up my food. Customer service here is always so great and the food is amazing. will be back!“
“One of Round Rocks best kept secrets. As a family we love Thai food and we each have our favorites. Our go-tos are Thai tea, Tofu Thai fried rice, Pad Ki Mao and either a green or red curry with choice of protein. The Thai tea here was excellent not too sweet and tasted like they had freshly brewed the tea. The red curry ,fried rice and Pad ki Mao were also spot on. Price (in my opinion) reflected the perfect portion size. Nothing left to doggy bag but not so small that we left feeling hungry. We went on a weekend for lunch. It was busy but the staff seated us within minutes . They were attentive and hospitable. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be going back. Thanks for the great experience Ros Niyom!“
“The food has been spectacular!!!Spicy lamb meatball pita simply delicious, very good portions of both the bowl and the pita.I also had a Greek salad that was well served and had a very good flavor.Regular service. The place was a little dirty and run down.“
“I have been a regular patron of the Kebab shop and I must say it has consistently exceeded my expectations. I can’t get enough of their amazing food! Seriously, everytime I swing by I’m blown away by how fresh everything is. Whether I’m digging into their grilled saffron chicken (which is my absolute favorite), saffron rice that’s bursting with flavor or their crispy French fries - it’s all to notch. If you decide to try, don’t forget to also get some of their pita bread and hummus - they are delicious and taste so darn fresh! The restaurant is always clean and their staff is very friendly & welcoming, making it a comfy place to chow down. If you’re into tasty fresh Mediterranean eats, without a doubt check out The Kebab Shop! ???“
