“I read most of the reviews and gathered two things. It might be hot and the waiters seem inattentive. This told me to sit at the bar and dress less. The music is playing and the staff is upbeat and in a party yet focused zone. I enjoyed every moment here. My bartender/waiter was Melo and he was absolutely amazing at making sure I was good and keeping great drinks in rotation. My food came out as the icing on the cake. I ordered Shrimp and Lamb chops with shrimp. It was amazing. I have no complaints. It was complete flavor and just right. I even had a manager come around and check on me twice. I love this place and will be back. I drove over and hour to get here and it was worth it.”

Everything is always carefully packaged and easy to bring home. “Nov 2024 - My family has been coming to this Torchy's location most Sundays for the past two years. We've always liked this location -- the covered patio seating, the friendly staff -- but over the past few months it seems like the place is running like a well-oiled machine. We have several family members who have food restrictions, and our orders have been consistently correct, even though they're full of substitutions. The portions are generous and the tacos of the month are consistently interesting and delicious. We take maximum advantage of the rewards program to get regular free items! Torchy's has been a great addition to the greater Austin restaurant scene, and this is a particularly solid location.

“We eat here all the time. Not only is it great Thai food, it is hands down the best meal in the area. There's nothing we do not like, however our go-to dishes tend to be the Ginger Chicken, Crab Fried Rice or Pineapple Fried Rice. We also regularly get the spring rolls. Their food is so fresh and so flavorful, not greasy. It all tastes and looks like beautiful, high-quality food. That's really, really hard to find around here. As a side note, I am gluten-free, and the Ginger Chicken has never given me issues. They used to have their menu marked with all the items they could make gluten free, but they changed that - I really wish they would bring it back because they've added some really delicious-sounding new dishes, and I'd love to easily see which ones are or could be made gluten-free.

“This place has the best and most underrated donuts in Metro-Austin! I've been going here for at least 10yrs now and the staff is always nice, welcoming, and fast. Their donuts are more hardy in texture, great for dipping in your coffee. The flavor of the dough is like a semi-vanilla, they're are a variety of types, sizes, and flavors. They also sale breakfast sandwiches and kolaches that are always warm. The atmosphere is kind of eh but it's an in and out kid of place so don't expect to sit. Enjoy!”

“Love it but when I ask for light ice I would really love light ice as I have teeth sensitivity and they always go back and top of my light ice drink with more ice. Then I have to wait for my drink to warm up before I can drink it. Telling them if supposed to be light ice they just pore it into another cup and add ice to it again. Kind of defeats the purpose of light ice.”

Kid-friendliness: Usually take my kids to get a smoothies.... There was once when there was left over from my order that they put into a small cup for my toddler. Thought that was the sweetest thing they could do. They're now loyal smoothie fans.”

Nothing better than chowing down on some burgers and wings after a hard fought game of volleyball or while enjoying some drinks with friends at HanoversBurgers are incredible and may be in the name, but their wings are OUTSTANDING. We were pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the food. The meats were cooked to perfection with plenty of flavor, the Gorditas stuffed with all the fixings, the burritos delicious, and the service quick. Definitely would recommend!

“My family has been going to Baris since it opened in 1997 when we lived in Pflugerville. My youngest son turned 21 and requested Baris for his birthday last night. We haven't been for a few years as we moved about 30 minutes away. It was so much fun visiting an old fave. Food quality is amazing, the menu hasn't changed and we were delighted to see the daughter that was bussing tables as a kid is now running the restaurant. Such a local gem.
