“Got Lamb Tibbs ~$18 and Ultimate veg combo ~$30Meat was very flavorful and not gamey at all. Best tasting out of everything. The injera was not as sour tasting compared to other places. Veg combo was alright. Some of the lentils were undercooked.Presentation was good. Was surprised they brought out the dishes individually and poured them on the injera.Big portions but also not that cheap. Came out to be $55 after tax and tip.Grateful that they decided to help my pack my leftovers but was kind of gross when it was all mixed up. Would have preferred the injera and dishes separated ?**Note: They charge 25 cents for togo box”
“Fantastic food . Very top tier , especially coming from a food truck at 2 am. Amazing service. Austin was a great cook and employee. Turns out he’s the owner as well. Please if you have the time and in the area give this spot a try. Love to see young entrepreneurs achieving their goals and doing it the right way . Go support .”
“Friendly and attentive staff! We love George the bar manager. Had a Cold IPA today and favored it over other IPA options although none of them are bad and taste is subjective. Now the Michelada they make is amazing! It's alot of fun to have their pickle Seltzer michelada. Try it.”
“Tasty food in an intimate atmosphere. I would not come here to fill my belly. There really weren't "meal" options to be had. If you're looking for a quaint spot to enjoy quiet conversation and something tasty, then give this place a shot.”
“First of all, let me just say that I don't eat everybody's cooking. I am from the south and everybody can't cook southern food the right way. But I tried Ms. Tonya's cornbread dressing and I have tried her Chitterlings and I must say I am very impressed. They were both delicious and I will be calling on her again. If you want some real southern food call Ms. Tonya.”
“I’ve been to a few restaurants like this one and I was a little disappointed , but this one here in Austin TX , was standing on business, the food was absolutely delicious, I ordered the tacos , steak and pastor !”
“Great steaks, GREAT service! My only complaint is that it is so loud in there. I must be getting old, I want to be able to talk to the person I went to dinner with rather than yell at them.”
“My husband and I ordered the $20 shrimp boil with all the seasonings and mild spice. Super amazing! We were fighting over the last shrimp! Awesome atmosphere and love the DJ on Friday and Saturday nights!”
“I had the dry rub CPR wings and fried pickles. The wings were fried/seasoned perfectly. The pickles were also fried well, nice and hot. The customer service was warm and welcoming. I also enjoyed playing a game of Jenga while I waited for my food. I would definitely recommend to get this place a try!”
“My husband and I took the kids here, and it was super cool! The kids loved it! We have 4 children ages range from 6-10 and they loved it! We were thereafter good 5 hrs. My husband and I were able to have some drinks while the kids played and rode the rides. We didn't eat there but the food looked really good. I highly suggest going.”
“Great place to grab a drink, staff is super friendly, manager checked on us immediately upon entry. Beer is cold and shots are decently priced. Will definitely be back.”
“Came to visit Austin and was so not pleased with the food on the downtown side so we looked this place up and when I say this place is for the CULTURE !! Food was 10/10 and service was 10/10. We would recommend anybody to come here. Our server was Kori? I think that was her name but she was great and the hookah service was great as well. I’m from Louisiana and I can honestly say the food definitely is up to par to my city!”
“We had an amazing experience at Shogun for my wife’s birthday. Our waiter Wayan and hibachi chef Sonny were outstanding. Wayan was friendly, attentive, and a joy to chat with. Sonny was a masterful chef an absolutely hilarious. Would gladly be roasted by him again. 5/5”
“This place just opened up. We went to the grand opening where they had samples of all of their food. It was all flavorful. We decided to head there for dinner with all the kids. They absolutely had a blast. We’ll be back for more!!!”
“Patrons are super nice, no food. Drinks are over-priced and you practically have to Shoot up a Flare to get the Staff to recognize you are there. Bathrooms are super Clean ,thanks To Tony. Who also is the best TarBender in the Establishment. Great Live Music Fri-Sat.”
“We ordered food via UberEats and decided to try this spot since we never had it. We noticed the address matches Kumar's in Pflugerville so it may be a ghost kitchen. Love that concept. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and chili chicken. The chicken tikka masala states it's in a creamy sauce on the menu, but what I didn't realize is that it would have coconut cream. Not sure if it was coconut cream, but that was the flavor I tasted. It's not bad I'm just partial to it. I'm used to a more tomato base flavor. The chili chicken was good. Flavorful and spicy just like I wanted. Everything was wrapped and packaged with care.”
“Great new place to eat. My wife and I shared the Patacones appetizer then each had Pabellon Criollo for dinner. Both were really good. Our server was great, very helpful and when I asked him about Venezuela he told me about it and even shared pictures of some of his favorite places. Great experience for both of us.”
