“This location is a coin flip when it comes to quality for my wife and I. Sometimes service is amazing. Sometimes it’s a crew of unenthused staff. We have had good luck sitting at the bar, though. Asked for my Democrat taco to be well done, which the back of the house ignored. One of the easiest flaws to fix, however, is that they can install a WiFi for customers to use. The reception in Stonehill is horrible and even worse indoors. Sometimes I’d like to send a text or check something out on my phone while I eat. Seems extremely simple to fix. Since I’m in a good mood after a visit I will recommend.“

“Finally, I found a place with delicious breakfast tacos! I moved from San Antonio where you can find homemade flour tortillas breakfast tacos everywhere to Austin where it has been very difficult. I’ve lived in Austin for over a year and I have been searching so many places that claim to have fresh tortillas and was always disappointed until today.

Not only were the tacos delicious, the coffee was good, the green salsa was the best and the service was excellent! Armando, the manager checked on me often and my server Eric was so friendly. I loved it so much my boyfriend and I are headed there this evening for some drinks and appetizers!“

“We hired Maudie's catering for our rehearsal dinner. Given the current COVID-19 situation, Maudie's put all our guests meals in individual packages including the appetizers. It was so fun, so delicious and SAFE! Delivery was exactly on time and the catering team worked with me seamlessly to make sure it was all exactly to my liking. I love Maudie's the restaurant but this was the first time I used the catering and I will absolutely be using them again. We love Maudie's!!“

“I love Torchy's! I really love the Mo Faux. PLEASE, bring it back! The cashier told me that many people, in addition to myself, are very disappointed to see the Mo Faux go. Slightly heartbroken. I tried the Fo Sho and it was good... but Mo Faux was GREAT. Fo Sho just doesn't hold up to its predecessor.“

“When my husband suggested we go to Amaya‘s restaurant at first looking at the restaurant on the outside. It didn’t look like a very expensive restaurant expensive but very luxurious fancy fancy restaurant on the outside and waited about two minutes then waitress walked us to our table gave us menus. We ordered our drinks when we got the food the food was warm and hot. The plates were huge.“

“Finally tried Dalia’s. It was great! I got a breakfast taco, Al pastor, and barbacoa. Everything was fresh and tasty. Their barbacoa was juicy and roasty like. “A great find. I had nopales and egg, bacon and egg and chicken fajitas all on corn. Authentic and delicious. A dollar is added for card purchases which I don’t blame them for. Small businesses have to pay so much when cards are used. Bring cash if you don’t want that charge but know it’s totally worth the price. Each taco was $4 and i highly recommend this tiny truck off of N Lamar. Support small local businesses!“

“First time here for breakfastand ordered the Barbacoa plate. The staff is very friendly and service is prompt and always.
The plate had a generous portion of Barbacoa, Refried Beans, and eggs how you like them. Chopped onion an cilantro.
The only reason I gave the food 4 stars was that although the Barabacoa was not greasy, I found it to be kind.of dry and not as moist as I am accustomed to. Also the regular salsa the served was bland and had no kick. I did ask for their Salsa Verde Cremosa and that was superb. Also the flour tortillas appeared to e homemade but were not fluffy as some other local spots.
Overall, it was very good and I will return to try other plates“

“I think I have been to all of the Lupe Tortilla locations in and around Austin, Texas. The food is great. The decor and ambience is great. Service is great. I had a previous post at one location of a spinning plate that I did not care for and at this location there was also a spinning plate. I would guess that the plate vendor is the same at all locations and that that vendor has an occasional issue with getting the bottoms of their plates flat when they make them. It certainly doesn’t affect the taste of the food once you get the plate to stop spinning so you can capture your food and get it into your mouth.“

The entire staff handled it with care and concern. I applaud everyone who assisted that family and who help keep the attention off of them until EMS left with the patron! Taco Express has some of my favorite all time breakfast and dinner options that are as good as some and better than most.
