“This location is a coin flip when it comes to quality for my wife and I. Sometimes service is amazing. Sometimes it’s a crew of unenthused staff. We have had good luck sitting at the bar, though. Asked for my Democrat taco to be well done, which the back of the house ignored. One of the easiest flaws to fix, however, is that they can install a WiFi for customers to use. The reception in Stonehill is horrible and even worse indoors. Sometimes I’d like to send a text or check something out on my phone while I eat. Seems extremely simple to fix. Since I’m in a good mood after a visit I will recommend.“

“One of our favorite places in pflugerville! Excellent food and service but the place is so loud. Sometimes it’s hard to have a conversation so if you are going to catch up with someone- pick an odd hour to eat! The music can be too loud as well. We order take out often too but the Tacos are best eaten fresh at the restaurant :)
I don’t drink but we did notice a great bar menu and they have a huge space at their bar for seating. There is also a nice banquet room as well. We’ve always liked the waiters and waitresses here!“

“Delicious food and fast service. A popular place with several customers stopping by while we were there. There is one table inside and a bathroom also. Portions were big and good value for money. Over 26 years in business says a lot too ?? “

“The food was delicious & the portions are generous. Although a lot of people were in there it only took a few minutes to be seated on a Thursday night. It's a bit loud in there, but no different than any other restaurants on the weekend (which actually starts on Thursdays).“

“We hired Maudie's catering for our rehearsal dinner. Given the current COVID-19 situation, Maudie's put all our guests meals in individual packages including the appetizers. It was so fun, so delicious and SAFE! Delivery was exactly on time and the catering team worked with me seamlessly to make sure it was all exactly to my liking. I love Maudie's the restaurant but this was the first time I used the catering and I will absolutely be using them again. We love Maudie's!!“

“It's not the greatest, but not the worst. Last time I was there, the tortillas were pretty bad. Tasted like cheap store bought. If they remedy this, it will make a huge difference.

Edit: just went there again and the food was much much better. Tortillas were great, I think they make them on location now.“

“Incredible food, and friendly service. Always fresh tasting and made to order. This family owned business has Mexican/TexMex down - they also happen to have some of the best bar be que you'll ever eat over at The Pit on Burnet. Taco Express has some of my favorite all time breakfast and dinner options that are as good as some and better than most. Easily the best Chorizo I have ever had - and that is a fraction of the menu offerings. So glad it is the neighborhood!“

“I've never heard of this place and am so glad I went. I got a barbacoa/bacon (weird combo until you try it) and a potato/bacon/egg, both of them were delicious. The breakfast taco was more filled than the meat, understandably so. The salsa has a nice flavor and kick to it. The tortillas weren't homemade, but honestly I didn't notice after my first few bites. $8 for 2 tacos is a price you can't beat around Austin.“
