This is the best chicken I’ve ever eaten. Amazing food, great price. I wish there was a way for me to regularly ship this chicken to my friends and family as they love it. Every time I go home I buy a bunch of whole chicken meals, put them in a cooler a take it to my folks. Heck, would be AMAZING if there was a location in my hometown. Thank you all for making DAMN good food.
Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.
We ordered El Pollo Rico online through DoorDash. It was amazing! Just like their title, “the delicious chicken,” is my new favorite local spot to get whenever we come to Austin. Unfortunately, I did not take picture of my food because I was hungry, but it truly was delicious. I never had a flavorful and grilled chicken like theirs. This location is in a food truck park and provides great fast service. The chicken Laura's topped with lettuce, tomato, crema, and avocado slices is absolutely the best. Many say this is the best food truck in the plaza, with everything on the menu tasting incredible and always fresh. The tacos are some of the best, with perfect ingredient portions and perfectly cooked meat. Friendly staff makes every visit enjoyable.
