“My family has been going to Baris since it opened in 1997 when we lived in Pflugerville. My youngest son turned 21 and requested Baris for his birthday last night. We haven't been for a few years as we moved about 30 minutes away. It was so much fun visiting an old fave. Food quality is amazing, the menu hasn't changed and we were delighted to see the daughter that was bussing tables as a kid is now running the restaurant. Such a local gem. Thank you Brianna for your hospitality last night!“

“Stopped in for a bite while here in town for a work trip. Living in Houston now and originally from New York, and while there’s been a couple decent slices I’ve had since moving this had to be the best I’ve had in Texas yet. From the atmosphere of the place, it already felt like a real pizzeria. The fact they sell by the slice, and offer the customary 2 slices and a soda deal. A small seating area for those who just wanna sit and chow and then be on their way. I was satisfied before the pizza even showed up. The crust was nice, thin and crispy. And I enjoyed every bite. Nothing is quite like NYC pizza, but for being so far from home this didn’t feel too far off. Will definitely roll through again next time I’m in town. Thanks for giving me faith that I can find solid pizza here in the South. 😉“

“Deft Pies has incredible pizza and I’ve never had anything there I don’t enjoy. BUT, I had the meatball sub tonight and it’s one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in Austin after living here for 8 years. Absolutely love Deft Pies and Old Gregg. My favorite place to ever come to this side of Northeast Austin. Go support and keep these guys around. They deserve all the flowers.“

“Pizza was very good. I like the fact I can pick whatever on my side of pizza. Friendly staff and pretty relaxing atmosphere. BlackBerry lemonade is so tasty! Kids eat free on Sundays and their app is handy when it comes to perks and discounts.
And yes! They shave plant based cheese and plant based meat. It makes so much easier for vegan choices.“

“Want to give a shout out to Ablo and his team. Im far from the best maneuvering apps and really messed up my order. Called the restaurant in a panic. Ablo and the other young lady working got it all straightened out and actually compensated me for something that was entirely my mistake. “Brandon the general manager and Johnathan our server were beyond fantastic! We were a ginormous party of 43 people MOSTLY teenagers (band kiddos coming from state solo & ensemble) and we were greeted with the biggest smiles and happiest group of guys ready to help us feed our kiddos dinner! Drinks and food were fast and served with a smile. These guys deserve more than 5 stars, if the RBB is ever back in Pflugerville we will definitely be making a stop back over here!!
